I would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff, comfortable hotel. Very nostalgic. And the beds for a double deluxe are actually close to a king size per American standard size. This is a great option for an affordable rate.

We stayed in Clontarf Castle right before Christmas with two small kids, aged 3 and 5. We figured they'd love staying in a castle and enjoy the Christmas lights and festivities. They had a great time, but for us, it was even better! The castle has family rooms, but when you get there, it seems more oriented to adults than to kids, so we were unsure if it is a good match for the family. Nonetheless, the kids had a great time, running around looking for "dungeons" and knights in shining armor hidd... Read more

We came to Dublin to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Tina was especially helpful and friendly during our stay. They hailed us cabs quickly. Breakfast is filling and a bargain. We were especially impressed with a handwritten note, flower pedals on the bed, macaroons with contrats written in chocolate when we first entered the room. Its small touches like this made our honeymoon stay truly memorable. We hope to visit Dublin again soon and if we do we will be sure ... Read more

I stayed here last Friday and I only have positive things to say about the Clontarf Castle Hotel. The room was beautiful and the dinner in the Fahrenheit restaurant was simply amazing. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel. Can highly recommend a stay here!

Epic hotel, lots of history and character but also modern and luxurious. Staff friendly, food lovely, touches like open fires and decor add to the experience. Would definitely stay again. Not much to do locally, but the castle is a great place to stay.

Stayed in an Exec Double. I normally love 'rooms with a view' which Clontarf does not provide but boy does Contarf make up for this. Loved my stay, room spacious, modern but strangely comforting -I would suggest the BEST breakfast in Dublin.

The hotel is beautiful, from coming up the drive to walking into the lobby. The staff was friendly and very helpful with questions about getting around and the hotel itself. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was great! Portions were large, and everything was perfect. Next time, I will definitely stay more than one night!

The hotel was beautiful and the reception staff very helpful. Although the restaurant at the hotel took long in providing service, the food was world class. I would recommend the the pasta and pork dishes. Keep up the good work.
