Very nice hotel convenient for sightseeing in the city. Nice rooms clean and warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Only one little niggle is they ask for ?150 deposit when you book in. Not a nice thing to do. It puts people off when booking as its the only hotel I know in Dublin to do that.

Enjoyable visit, staff very friendly and helpful. Good of the staff to look after our bags as we arrived before the check in time and again once we had checked out. Hotel room was sufficient and the breakfast was good. However only negative was the sound of the trains and trams very early in the morning right next to our room.

Great place to stay. Lovely staff on reception. I told reception a light bulb was gone, within 10 minutes the maintenence man was there to fix it, he was lovely too! Clean, spacious rooms and convenient for city centre. Opposite bus station with a hotel bar serving food all day. Defo worth the money. Would stay again.

We stayed here with friends in January and found it to be a lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are a very nice size with everything you need. The view isn't good but it's not what I came for so didn't matter. The restaurant was closed but we could order food in the bar which was OK. Was only a 2 minute walk into the centre and just over 5 minutes to Temple Bar so very ideally situated. It's also straight opposite the bus station so perfect for transport to and from the airpor... Hotel facing the luas, opposite Bus Aras, and near train. Handy for IFSC area, town centre etc And near the 747 bus stop for airport. So location top marks. Staff good, manager is very helpful chap who seems to work 24 hours a day and still smiles. Room fine, shower good. Wifi was good too. Any negatives? Well being so close to the luas, they seem to need oiling as from early morning the squeal past. The hotel can't really help this so not great if you're expecting quietness but you are in a nos... My son and his friend have just returned from the Beresford. It was booked via the Translink deal, therefore paid up front. On arrival he completed the normal paperwork as required but to his shock and disbelief was suddenly asked for 150 euro as a deposit!! He did not have this money at hand as they were not aware this was required. He was asked for cash or a credit card, he does not have a credit card so I had to use mine. When I rang the hotel on his behalf to enquire they said it was a de... Read more

Not one for writing reviews but after I'd booked this hotel and researched more I came across many bad ones so I wanted to write about my experience as I feel this hotel doesn't deserve them! Firstly I'd like to say how lovely the reception staff are. After arriving in Dublin at 8am we were worried we'd be rolling our suitcases around till check in at 2pm but reception staff happily stored our cases while we explored and again after we had checked out until our evening flight. Also helped us ou... Read more

Members of my family stayed here on two occasions recently to attend concerts in the nearby 3 arena. It's location is well situated, bus eireann depot, luas and dart lines are very close by, close to the city centre also. The hotel is by the nature of its surroundings sometimes noisy at night (which is understandable) but you would expect it to be less noisy in your rooms. The floors creak under foot and walls seem to be very thin, you can hear everything going on (unless that was just our room... Read more

Had two nights here recently. Considered checking out after a couple of hours. It is close to bus and train station with a railway bridge outside...seems like every train announces its approach to station. Add in a very creaky staircase, thin walls and banging doors and you have great difficulty sleeping! Although my room was non-smoking there was a terrible smell of stale smoke. Realistically I won't be returning.

Great location (walkable to nightlife and some attractions), nice rooms and good breakfast. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay - they even arranged bfast for us to take to take to the airport as we had an early morning flight home. We felt that this hotel was very good value and would stay again. We were very happy with our room but it did ovelook the train line so was noisy until late evening - unsure of exact time.
