May be 'just outside' the city but bus ride was almost 40 minutes going through various estates. Room was clean but no mini bar there was a vending machine in hall way but no drinks so no way to have cold drink after bar closed at midnight (no residents bar) reception area looked nice but restaurant staff were ignorant food overpriced especially the breakfast I was told full would be a 'full Irish' but had no black/white pudding. I not stay here again

Came for 3 nights for my partner's 30th. Hotel staff were very friendly and even upgraded us when I emailed before arrival about it being a celebration. Bus stop right outside and costs ?2.70 to go right into the centre of Dublin. Breakfast was lovely and the room was always cleaned well. Thank you for a great stay :)

We stayed here for an overnight stop before traveling on. Friendly staff, clean room, good food, view of the prison and an untidy housing estate from the window, and has a large car park. The hotel is good and I would stay overnight to travel by train into Dublin, but the area lets the hotel down.

Loved the powerful hot shower. Comfortable bed, lousy view of a debris-strewn field, annoying need to keep the room key in the wall in order to keep the lights on! Breakfast buffet was mostly fine, decent variety for a multi-day stay, except I think the scrambled eggs are from a powdered source, judging by their texture. Bartender at night is slow. Reliable WiFi in room and lounge, included. Bus stop for 79A right in front of the hotel can take you to Temple Bar - Aston Quay stop. Yes, it t... Read more

After an exhausting 4 hrs. journey from Donegal to Aspect Hotel in Dublin I was welcomed by 2 smiled ladies Sylvia & Gosha, very bubbly and polite. They put a smile on my face and I decided to write a review about it. The only one thing I would improve is a food. I'm qualified food technologist and I pay attention to the taste of orange juice in the morning. I could taste a water. Thank you

Travelling on business and faced with a delayed flight I arrived at the hotel a little late. Upon arrival I was unable to access the hotel and was eventually let in by a guest. I had to ring the hotel as there was no-one on reception with no way of getting their attention. Was provided with a twin smoking room (I presume it was smoking as there was an unpleasant smell and ashtray in the room) even though I had booked a double non smoking. CONS On arrival was informed that the booking website (booking.com) does not take payment and neither does the hotel prior to check in, so had to unexpectedly pay on arrival. Was not informed during the booking process the hotel has two out of the six which permit smoking, and I was booked into one of the 'smoking' floors (hence the cheap price I think) which was putrid! Cable flex on the iron had exposed wires which had been covered by cellotape! Mattress was hard and pillows uncomfortable. ... Read more

This is a very nice hotel for the money. It is outside the city centre, so if you stay here, you must find a method of transport to the city, and there are many available. They helped us by having a room available for early check in to put our luggage so we could sight see for a day. We had six rooms all together and no problems. Would definitely stay again.

If you choose to have your window open at night then you can hear people outside who are smoking, but this may not be as bad if you are renting a room on the upper floors, but you cannot hear any other noise. Stayed here after arriving into Dublin airport on a late evening flight (15 minutes drive). The hotel is located in a business park, near the main orbital motorway around Dublin (M50). Car parking was free. The hotel is modern and the rooms were a reasonable size. Free wifi worked ok for me (email, general browsing and streaming radio). Premium wifi was also offered for a fee and you would probably need it for streaming movies or accessing large volumes of data. Good range of TV channels. Fre... Read more

My husband booked this hotel for a quick break to Dublin to visit relatives. He wanted a cheap hotel and booked Aspect hotel without reading reviews on Tripadvisor. We arrived just after midnight and the doors were locked. There was a sign on the door saying to ring a telephone number to gain entry. We scrabbled around in the dark and cold trying to find our mobiles and after a short while, felt like an eternity, we were let in. This was not the best welcome and left me wondering why the hote... The hotel is located some 10 minutes outside of Dublin by train. If you like nightlife, you might want to consider something more centrally located but for us, this was great. We took the bus into Temple Bar one day (about 40 minutes) just to see the surrounding area, which isn't very interesting. The train ends at Heuston Station, from where one can walk, take a bus, get another train, or use the Luras. The room was mid-sized, with a comfortable queen bed and a reasonable bathroom. I fell in ... Read more

Stayed here for one night as we were on our way to Galway on a coach holiday. No amenities outside the hotel as it was situated in a business park so had to use the hotel facilities. Our room was clean, bed was ok, bathroom without toiletries but a notice informed us that reception would supply them with compliments. Our food was ok but lots of our group were complaining that it was cold. The waitresses and chefs were polite and friendly. The reception staff were without warmth or personali... Read more

Firstly, these large corporates need to understand that not everyone is online 24/7, especially if they're abroad. We had phoned through a week ahead to inform the hotel that we would not supply a credit card and intended to pay cash. They 'noted' this against our reservation. On arrival we were told the room had been released because they couldn't pre-approve a card. I explained and there was no sign of the note on the reservation. Luckily, the staff on duty dealt with it swiftly and we stayed... Read more

Nothing better then having a friendly face on reception to greet you at a hotel. Fortunately for me Aspect has two. Sylvia and Gaelle have made me feel very welcome and were extremely helpful when teaching me where to go in Dublin. The face of the company and were a pleasure. Service with a smile ???

Decent hotel, reasonable price, comfortable enough rooms. Only negative for some might be the location at Park West in Clondalkin is a 30-40 min bus journey from the city centre. Also there are no shops or similar amenities nearby. However the new Park West/Cherrywood train station is a short walk from the hotel and connects with mainline services and the Luas at Heuston station within 10 mins. Hotel restaurant also does nice food.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary. (23-24) We Arrived on a Saturday morning, at Dublin airport we arranged a travel ticket for 3 days which cost ?19.50 which included bus trains and tram service to hop on and off whenever. We got the 747 air link just to heuston station and then got the 79a bus to the hotel. The man who sold us our ticket didn't tell us we could use our leap ticket on the tram, so when we checked at the hotel we actually good! The bus journey took 1hr but if w... Read more

A great hotel and the food is superb. Room is clean and beds are ok. Best thing I loved was the shower. Absolute heaven. The staff were very friendly and certainly very helpful especially for some Aussie travellers. The only thing we found missing was a little bar fridge in the room but otherwise great stay

I chose this hotel firstly on price but the location for me was ideal. I was doing work in Newbridge which is a 25 minute train journey from the station by the hotel. As I have been to Dublin before access to the city wasn't important for my free time but the first thing I will say is if you do want access to Dublin centre choose another hotel. Even though the train does go from the station by the hotel to the city centre trains aren't that frequent and buses take around an hour. As well as th... Read more

The rooms are ok, tea and coffee, free wifi , decent tv etc , view from our room was looking out over what looked like wasteland which was a bit disappointing but then the hotel is some way out of town in the middle of a business park and from what I could see, there is nothing nearby that is walkable too, the hotel seems very popular with coach trips staying the night and generally seems more geared towards the business traveller being where it is. Nights sleep was ruined by some loud music com... Read more

My boyfriend and i went to Dublin for one night, booked this hotel. We were both impressed with this hotel, beautiful room and bed was big enough for 4 people. A bit far out from the town was only 10-15 minutes on the bus, only costing 2 euro into the town. Very clean, and quiet. I would definitely go back to this hotel if i am staying again in Dublin. The staff were very welcome and friendly. There was a vending machine on the first floor with chocolate, crisps and anything you need for a week... Read more

Stayed here for one night while in Dublin for work. Needed to be near Tallaght so this was fine for my needs, about a 15 min drive away. Secured a rate of ?58 for the night including breakfast after a few emails with the hotel and getting them to beat 3rd party sites rates by ?5 as they promise on their site. (The hotel website was more expensive than the 3rd party sites) - this was good value for money even if the hotel is a good bit outside the city centre. Bus and train services run near... Read more

I was hopeful, but alas, the room was ok, bathroom clean, no ac, minimalist kind of hotel, really. I've been billed incorrectly twice now, disputing the bills with my cc co. Feeling stiffed, for I booked thru a third-party site, so little recourse with the hotel. Will not return to this location, or possibly the chain, either. Good luck, is all I can say.

Hotel has really good location, not far from Dublin. It is close to train station and bus stop with often connections to city center. The room was nice, clean with comfortable beds. Personel was friendly. In the morning we ate a typical Irish breakfast, which was really good.

Very good hotel, clean rooms big bed, tea coffee etc iron hair drier , no need to take shower gel ,all provided and smelt lovley, the breakfasts were exellant, as much as you can eat for £10 staff lovley and friendly, printed off our return boarding passes, no hassle, the bus to Dublin was outside but you need to have the right change £2 40, as they don't take notes if you take the train you have to change so bus is better, definitely recommend this hotel.
