Spent a couple of nights in cork - lovely hotel with a great restaurant. Location is walkable to historic cork along the river path. Staff were friendly and efficient and the room quality and amenities exceeded expectations. Would happily stay here again.

One of the lovely hotels that really got hit by the flooding in recent times but now have a flood barrier in place . I have conducted interviews and held company meetings here over the years and the staff are really helpful and accommodating to my needs. I was here in July 2015 for a romantic meal with the MRs and it was really good , food was superb and a few wine glasses later we grabbed a taxi back home . If your looking for a business friendly hotel then this would be one of your options... Read more

I recently celebrated my 30th Birthday with a spa day at the Kingsley and I couldn't recommend the place enough! From booking, to arrival to treatment and afternoon tea, the whole day was fantastic! Firstly the staff's friendliness, enthusiasm and extremely welcoming demeanour made this a day to remember, in particular the spa staff went above and beyond what anyone would expect! To anyone a group of 11 arriving would be quite the challenge but the staff took it in their stride and treated us li... Read more

Stayed two nights for business, appreciated the hotel parking. Great bedrooms, comfortable, spacious, good wi fi, such a comfy bed, and a great shower. The rooms are nicely furnished - not with cheap stuff, but good quality furniture etc Breakfast was as expected and the porridge is good! Ate in the hotel, reasonable menu and tasty food.....only small niggle, in the dining room, some aspects have a river view, others a car park view!!! The Kingsley was very modern and clean. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Our room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. We had buffet breakfast at the hotel and they had a good selection. The Kingsley had the best gym I have ever seen so far in a hotel. Only downside was that it was not close walking distance to city center, about 45 minutes walk.. Didn't bother us though...gave us time to eat and sober up after a night at the pubs!

We stayed in the superior double room, it's well worth the upgrade. Huge bathroom with bath and shower, robes in wardrobe and slippers. Very comfy bed. Room very clean. Restaurant excellent food, catered to dietary needs with view of the river. Spa is fantastic here, so many areas in the thermal suite and the outdoor hot tub/pool overlooking the river is lovely. Maybe the best spa I have been to! Staff were also very helpful. Will definitely be back!

This is a lovely hotel in Cork city. The bedrooms are large and opulent, very comfortable and plentiful with facilities. Even the toiletries were beautiful. The staff are very friendly and very professional. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. Would be a lovely place to go for a special trip if you are looking for something right in the city center.

The Kingsley Hotel is a great place to stay in Cork. Our experience began with a very friendly greeting and a room upgrade--always appreciated. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was very nicely appointed. Everything was extremely clean. There is an ample breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff are wonderful. I had a very upsetting personal experience while there (nothing to do with the hotel), and I still feel grateful for the supportive and helpful attitude of the staff--espec... Read more

Very beautiful hotel, with great rooms and view. We had triple occupancy rrom, the view from our room to lake and castle was really beautiful. Located bit away from city center, but is easily accessible by taxis. If you have your own car, you might not have to worry about the taxis as well. Hotel does have its own SPA and indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor heated pool is just what you need after a full day of traveling. It is more of a hydro pool with jets all around. Stayed 2 nights and it is a lovely hotel. Beds sooo comfy. Very clean room. Nice bathroom. The gym is well equipped. Would have loved to try out the spa but didn't have time unfortunately. Staff all pleasant. Food ok, I think I expected the menu to be a little more upmarket to match the surroundings. Not a major problem. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel which has been recently refurbished and is worth every one of its 4 stars. Our biggest regret is we only had a short stay (one night) at the Kingsley and we got in late (6pm) and had to be on the road by 8am the next day to keep our schedule. The hotel was beautiful and the check-in staff were very accommodating. The room was well kept with large TVs and a great shower. Bar staff was great and food in bar was very good. Rest of staff was a little spotty, such as not bringing up the ice we called to request or delivering our coffee to our table only after we finished b... Read more

We spent two nights here and the place was very good. The room overlooked the river and the old swimming baths which have long gone. The room was very bright and clean and worth the money. Front of house were helpful and the parking and WiFi were free. My only problem was that is does have a lot of tour buses and dinner on our first night was hectic, if you do not want to crowded by tour groups this may not be the place for you. That said, I enjoyed the place.

Good staff on reception, fab food in the fishers bar and great staff, outdoor tub is brilliant, the leisure centre is great and the room was lovely. We didn't dine in the restaurant so I can't review that. Overall it was just perfect, great staff, great facilities, great hotel.

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights in July 2016. This hotel is outside Cork city centre, but that's no bad thing as it's quiet even though it's on a main road. It's easy to find on the main road following the River Lee and is about 30 minutes walk along the river to Cork City centre. Alternatively book a taxi from reception or there are also public buses. A taxi ride to the centre typically costs 9 Euros. The hotel is comfortably furnished. There is a bar and a few seating areas plus a ... Read more

Excellent hotel, lovely, cosy, nicely furnished, well designed room, very clean & modern. Nice toiletries, bath robes & slippers. Great leisure centre & spa. My girlfriend and I stayed here during a driving golf/distillery holiday of Scotland/Ireland in August 2015. This hotel is lovely. The entrance has a fountain and a statue of a dog to pat. The reception area has petrified wood pieces. The car park is undercover. Although the hotel is not near the town centre, it is fantastic. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was rather spacious. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were in the area with a car.

New, modern w/ great rooms. The spa is outstanding. Though we did not get a spa treatment, they have a very interesting and well appointed area w/ various steam rooms, saunas, indoor and outdoor heated pools and a hot tub. The breakfast was good with the usual fixings. The restaurant on site was excellent. The hotel is about 2 kilometers out of the city center but this is walkable. It took us abut 15 minutes to get the the Blarney Castle.

A mixded bag with some good points but also soom negatives. Firstly the Kingsley is a bit away from the city centre. Too far to walk, especially in the rain. My room was spacious and well laid out. It was a shame that the aircon didn't work properly meaning the room was too hot. The temperature remained at 25'C, despite being set at 19'C. Breakfast was reasonable
