My husband and I stayed at the jury's inn hotel from Wednesday 18th may until Sunday 22nd 2016 and we had a wonderful few days in this lovely , lively city. The hotel is in a good location, within easy reach of local attractions and the lively Oliver Plunkett St. The bus station is a few minutes walk away and there are routes to most of Ireland. We took the coach to Kinsale which is a beautiful, quaint harbour town ...... Even in the rain!!!! The hotel was quiet, the room clean and the staff wer... Read more

Excellent hotel location. Room was clean and comfortable. Managed to get a parking space in enclosed hotel carpark. My wife , daughter and I stayed one night on our way to west Cork. After a meal in the city we returned to the hotel and went to the bar for a night cap. My daughter was drinking sparkling water and accidentally spilled the glass on our table . when I went to get a last order the barman suggested that my daughter was drunk and would not serve her alcohol. Margaret and her staff Megan, Christopher and Alexandra were all very professional and extremely friendly, nothing was a trouble always with a smile. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good online booking experience> The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the room was nice. I had a very good experience at the bar, both nights (food, drinks, bartender). Everyone was very friendly. The hotel is well-situated in the city of Cork. Overall, I was very glad I selected this place.

The staff were great here. There is an option of tea and toast if you don't want the full breakfast which I love. It is a bit noisy if you are near lifts of course but really comfortable pillows and beds. The front desk staff were brilliant with lots of advice and personality. Definitely not drab but professional.

Location was excellent. Close to heart of town with plenty of action nearby. Food in resturant/pub was very good and reasonably priced. Hotel pub was good fun, and the servers friendly. Wifi worked great and TV had a fairly decent channel selection. View from my 4th floor window was sublime. Room was sometimes a bit warm. I heard others say the same thing. Clean, comfortable, great location, & helpful staff! What more could you want? Definitely recommended!!! Also we accidentally double booked through TripAdvisor/Agoda and when we called Agoda promptly cancelled/refunded one despite the no cancellation policy! The only weakness was the staff of only one at the front desk which prevented them from being more helpful.

Pleasant enough, centrally located hotel. Close to the river and nearby are a selection of traditional Irish pubs and wide range of dining options. We had a very enjoyable few days in Jurys Inn in Cork. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrives and was maintained to that standard every day while we were there. The hotel staff were very helpful and very engaging. We didn't eat in the hotel, but this was not a reflection on the hotel dining room, but more our personal choice to sample what the city had to offers. Once the weather is cool, the Inn was lovely. However, the weather was warm and our room was like a sweat box as only one window could be opened a little to let in fresh air. The fan made little difference as the hot air was blown. This made staying in the room in the day, uncomfortable and the nights very sticky. I have spoken to the front desk and also wrote on rating website asking that better ventilation be provided for warm days.

We stayed here for three nights. Having stayed previously, this was a repeat visit. The hotel provides a good range of facilities and is very centrally located, with easy access to the bus station, the centre of Cork, and even the railway station. An excellent place in terms of comfort and convenience. The only inconvenience is the lack of onsite parking. There is parking quite close by as indicated by the hotel website. It is good advice to park first because space to pull in outside the hotel is limited. Cork traffic is bad and the one way system is horrendous so it is no bad thing to keep to the outside of the centre. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre and the staff are very helpful. The bus services seem good.

Arrived mid-afternoon and was pleased to get a space in the hotel car park particularly after seeing some of the characters in the side street near the hotel. I'd asked for a room with a river/quays view on an upper floor and I was allocated 401 which is on the front left corner of the hotel. I had a view of the quay and a massive cargo ship and thought 'If that leaves in the night it's going to wake up the whole of Cork'. When I arrived the hotel was in a very good location, close to the bus station and the port and in walking distance to the center. The rooms are quite spacious with good shower facilities. There is an iron and hairdryer in the room which is a plus. Jazz festival 2 night stay. Great hotel and Location, only 5 minutes walk from city center. Staff very attentive, polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good quality, help yourself to as much as you can eat. Save yourself many euros and get the 226A bus from the airport, the bus station in Cork is 2 minutes walk from Hotel.

Put on your walking shoes, lots to explore in and around Cork. We were with Wylde Irish Tours and saw, Cahir Castle, Kinmar and Molls Gap (very scenic) and Killarny National forest (beautiful). We watched a sheep herding demonstration with trained dogs. We also were able to tour the Jamison Distillery. A private tour bus was provided for our group to get to all these places, but as I understand it, cabs and tour buses are not expensive.

We really had a fantastic stay at Jurys Cork for Halloween weekend. The staff were fantastic. The hotel room was very clean and the location is great for all city centre experiences. All staff very very nice to us and our kids. We had a great breakfast both mornings. Great safe car parking also. 10/10 for us.

This was my second stay this year. It is a typical Business Hotel and is fairly new, functional and clean ?? with the usual facilities ?? tea-making, iron, hairdryer etc. In addition there is free parking (albeit with limited spaces) at the rear (accessible from the road on the right-hand side of the hotel). The location is excellent ?? one block from the bus station and easy walking distance from the city centre. The full breakfast was good value at 10 euros ?? in the evenings there are lot... Read more

Perfect hotel for our yearly outing to the Cork Jazz Festival. The Location is perfect for all the music venues and shopping. The staff are polite and friendly. Lovely modern and clean hotel. This was good value for money this year but the price has now risen for next year such pity.

Was a clean and friendly welcome from start to finish... The breakfast was great for a self service type, was fresh and simple and regularly replaced, I'm a chef and not the best breakfast I'm ever going to have but the best and freshest self service I've had, they even kept on changing the fryed egg so they didn't dry up!!!

Good price at ?129 for 2 adults and a teen including breakfast.Only short coming was wifi was so poor at 1.2mb. Limited parking. Breakfast was ok but was cooked a while and a little bit more of variety would be nice, though at ?10 it was ok value for money.

Not bad but could do with getting the tramps out of reception. Nice room and friendly staff. Parking a bit of a nightmare. Busy and clean I would stay again if the homeless were not sprawled all over the garden outside.

We found everything at the Hotel to be very good. You do need to be there early to secure a place in the small Car Park. The main problem is outside the Hotel`s control - closeness to a Homeless Hostel and people approaching you for money from there.

We hiked in September, Wicklow Way, South Leinster Way, East Munster Way, then we took a bus to Cork. Got a room at Jury's Inn, right near the bus station. The price was more then we would normally spend but was still 100euros cheaper than a hotel right around the corner from here. The room was clean, shower was hot and the beds comfortable. Ate dinner in the restaurant there, it wasn't bad but a little pricey. We got a good nights rest and then took a bus on to Killarney.

Recently stayed for two nights at this location along the river. Room was quite comfortable, and more than what I was expecting. Hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk to the train station, and really not a far walk down to shopping, dining, or whatever else you're looking to do. Hotel restaurant/bar isn't half bad either if you don't want to go out and wait for a table at anothe restaurant.

She was there again Sunday with the same smile and willingness to help. My friends and I were in Cork for two nights and Jurys Inn was well-located. Close to the train and bus stations and a short walk over to Oliver Plunkett street. All was great with the hotel, only minor comment I would make is that the room was very dark.

We visit Cork often & usually stay at The Imperial but due to a last minute decision to travel the hotel was full, we chose the Jury's inn due to the location & fairly good reviews, somehow the dates on the booking were wrong, but luckily the helpful lady on reception managed to sort the rooms out for us. I must have stayed in one of the worst rooms in the hotel, straight across from the lifts & vending machine also facing the road & above the front door smoking area, I realised very soon I woul... Originally planned for a two night stay. Arrived on the first night after a long drive, no obvious parking anywhere (I was told later they do have a small car park of their own) so left my car in a nearby underground car park. Took quite a while to check in and there was only one person on reception. Decided to eat at the hotel around 8.30pm, not mire than a handful of folks in the restaurant. Ordered the steak and a glass of wine, the wine arrived but was promptly returned as it was like vine... Read more
