My husband and I stayed at the jury's inn hotel from Wednesday 18th may until Sunday 22nd 2016 and we had a wonderful few days in this lovely , lively city. The hotel is in a good location, within easy reach of local attractions and the lively Oliver Plunkett St. The bus station is a few minutes walk away and there are routes to most of Ireland. We took the coach to Kinsale which is a beautiful, quaint harbour town ...... Even in the rain!!!! The hotel was quiet, the room clean and the staff wer... Read more

Excellent hotel location. Room was clean and comfortable. Managed to get a parking space in enclosed hotel carpark. My wife , daughter and I stayed one night on our way to west Cork. After a meal in the city we returned to the hotel and went to the bar for a night cap. My daughter was drinking sparkling water and accidentally spilled the glass on our table . when I went to get a last order the barman suggested that my daughter was drunk and would not serve her alcohol. Situated right in Cork, on waterfront, room was excellent, bed good and good hot water, good shower. Dinner in bar very good, full Irish breakfast excellent. Margaret and her staff Megan, Christopher and Alexandra were all very professional and extremely friendly, nothing was a trouble always with a smile. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good online booking experience> The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the room was nice. I had a very good experience at the bar, both nights (food, drinks, bartender). Everyone was very friendly. The hotel is well-situated in the city of Cork. Overall, I was very glad I selected this place.

The staff were great here. There is an option of tea and toast if you don't want the full breakfast which I love. It is a bit noisy if you are near lifts of course but really comfortable pillows and beds. The front desk staff were brilliant with lots of advice and personality. Definitely not drab but professional.

Location was excellent. Close to heart of town with plenty of action nearby. Food in resturant/pub was very good and reasonably priced. Hotel pub was good fun, and the servers friendly. Wifi worked great and TV had a fairly decent channel selection. View from my 4th floor window was sublime. Room was sometimes a bit warm. I heard others say the same thing. However, I quickly figured out a solution to that. By opening the window and propping the door slightly, I got a nice cross breeze blowing st... Read more

Clean, comfortable, great location, & helpful staff! What more could you want? Definitely recommended!!! Also we accidentally double booked through TripAdvisor/Agoda and when we called Agoda promptly cancelled/refunded one despite the no cancellation policy! The only weakness was the staff of only one at the front desk which prevented them from being more helpful.

Pleasant enough, centrally located hotel. Close to the river and nearby are a selection of traditional Irish pubs and wide range of dining options. Room was fairly basic, no minibar but tea and coffee available. Wi-fi available but not a strong signal. I'd stay again on business but I would explore other options if I was paying.

We had a very enjoyable few days in Jurys Inn in Cork. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrives and was maintained to that standard every day while we were there. The hotel staff were very helpful and very engaging. We didn't eat in the hotel, but this was not a reflection on the hotel dining room, but more our personal choice to sample what the city had to offers. Once the weather is cool, the Inn was lovely. However, the weather was warm and our room was like a sweat box as only one window could be opened a little to let in fresh air. The fan made little difference as the hot air was blown. This made staying in the room in the day, uncomfortable and the nights very sticky. I have spoken to the front desk and also wrote on rating website asking that better ventilation be provided for warm days.

Jurys inn is situated on Andersons quay overlooking the River Lee. It is a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the city centre and Patrick Street where a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel itself is clean and modern with spacious, well maintained rooms and includes the usual tea/coffee making facilities etc...Bar food is of a reasonable standard as are the breakfasts with a wide selection of foods. The only problem with this hotel is for those who plan to travel by car. T... Read more

We decided to stay here for 3 nights as a short break in Cork as it was nice and central and on the main road out of Cork to the likes of Blarney, Cobh etc.the staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough to help us from the bar to the reception staff. the food in the bar is good and should cover most tastes we ate there every evening and could not complain about the quality or price. The rooms are functional and comfortable and kept very well, overall I would recommend using this hotel... Read more

Perfect location for a short break or business trip.Room was nice and is quite reasonably priced compared to most other hotels in cork.Staff were friendly and the bar is modern.Bit of noise from traffic outside and other rooms would be my only complaint.

Great location especially for shopping, and centre to visit other locations like Fota wildlife park. friendly staff, clean rooms. Love Cork! Food is good. The only negative I have is the lack of parking at the hotel.

We stayed here for three nights. Having stayed previously, this was a repeat visit. The hotel provides a good range of facilities and is very centrally located, with easy access to the bus station, the centre of Cork, and even the railway station. It is right by the river Lee, and many rooms overlook this. We had a room on the top floor, overlooking the harbour. It was a reasonable size, and was quite well appointed. However, it would have benefited from a safe in the room, and an enclosed wardr... Read more

We stayed for two nights. We flew into Cork airport and got the bus into town. This was extremely easy and the Hotel is a skip and a jump away from the Bus station. It is on the edge of the town and near the docks so it was relatively quiet and no noise at night so a good sleep was had by the both of us. The Room was clean and was serviced and tidied up when we were out. We did not eat in the Hotel other than Breakfast but we found this very good with plenty of choice and quantity. It was amu... It was a lovely stay at your hotel except for the 1st and 2nd night of my stay where on the 1st night I had to get up after midnight to tell some children in room 229 to keep the noise down in the early hours , then subsequently having to call reception on the 2nd night to complain about the noise from the same room and having to get your security man to room 229 to tell them to keep the noise down. I don't understand why some parents leave their children unattended all night and why the hotel d... Read more

Our last visit to Jury's in Cork was cut short because of a family emergency but we had been pretty impressed by the place and pledged to go back. We recently had a two night stay and Jury's Inn certainly lived up to expectations. First things first the location is excellent - very convenient to the bus / rail station and very convenient to the city centre. The staff we encountered from reception through waiting staff, bar-staff, service staff etc were, without exception friendly and helpful. Th... Read more
