Went here the beginning of May and loved it. The hotel was very central. The rooms clean and spacious with lovely ensuite. Stayed in hotel for 3 nights and had breakfast there once. Lots to choose from. Other two mornings had breakfast at Tara's which is couple of doors down from hotel and that was equally delicious. Ate out at Isaacs Restaurant and food was very good and reasonably priced. Went to lots of pubs (obviously) all of which gave a warm welcome, especially Le Chateau and The Cork Inn... Read more

Our visit did not get off to a good start. Firstly we couldn't find it ! It is next door to Isaacs restaurant ( not the same business apparently..!) but not well signposted. There is no car parking outside. Secondly we were given the wrong room (twice) which came as a surprise to the lady in the room we walked into ! The lift is somewhat temperamental and there was a constant noise from outside our room - some kind of fan . But we eat in Greenes restaurant and this was really good. Good menu ch... Read more

This is the second time we've stayed at Hotel Isaac's. It is definitely what I would call a "quaint" hotel. Great service and nice rooms, definitely an older property. The location is very convenient. My favorite part about Isaac's is sitting out by the artificial waterfall enjoying a pint of Guinness.

Our room was really beautiful. From the separate sitting room with a very funky couch to the claw footed bath in the bathroom we couldn't have been more delighted when we walked in the door. Tastefully decorated, the room made us feel very special. The bedroom had a view of the waterfall, which was very peaceful going to sleep listening to it. Super comfy bed and very well placed lighting throughout. Flat screen TV in both bedroom and sitting room. Safe in bedroom and very speedy WiFi in room an... Read more

We stayed 6 night at the Isaacs. Downtown located, all attractions on foot distance. Wifi was perfect. The room and bathroom were wide, clean, comfortable. Lots of shops, restaurants and pubs in the area. The only negative point is that sometimes one can hear the neighbors' voices.

This is a very nice hotel very near to Cork's city center. A beautiful building outside, with a unique entrance, with a small waterfall. Has really spacious rooms, among the biggest i have ever seen, with modern furnitures and really comfy beds. The only negative is the street noise all day long, especially if you stay in a lower floor room and also the little smelly carpets, a thing that you find very often in Ireland. Overall, a great city hotel.

My fiance and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of June. It was fantastic, the location is great (if you're big on food and eating out there are LOADS of great places on the main road). The hotel is about a 5-minute walk into the centre of Cork, so lovely to take a stroll over the river. We had a few problems when we first arrived due to the Cork Marathon, a lot of roads were closed so we couldn't get to the hotel with the car, however, the staff had been kind enough to prov... Really nice hotel that isn't too far from Patrick street and the bus and train station. Rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. There was a little bit of noise late at night but that's to be expected at weekends in a city centre. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early train to catch the following morning.

Parking here can be frustrating as it's a short uphill walk to the church there there is a parking arrangement but it's very secure and well organised. The hotel has a traditional feel without being stuffy and the rooms are enormous which was perfect for us, with everything we had with us for a trip of almost 3 weeks. The shower was large and the bathroom spotless and nicely lit. However, the top attraction has to be the staggeringly beautiful waterfall in the bar garden, which is just magical ... Read more

We stayed here for several nights in one of the apartments. It was very spacious and felt like a home away from home. There were only two downsides for me with Isaacs, unfortunately they're not pet friendly (we generally like to travel with our little dog and had to leave him in kennels) and there is no elevator, which is especially difficult for my 81 year old husband. However, it won't put us off. The reception staff are lovely and helpful. We already have our next trip booked in August... Read more

Nice place to stay in cork and walking distance to city center. Plenty of places to eat close by. Checking out early at 4:00 am was a challenge as all the gates to exit the hotel were locked but I found the front desk man pretty quickly and he let me out. Good price and the value all things considered. They are also right next to AWESOME fish and chips place called The Fish Wife that I visited a few times. Safe area and noise was low.

We have just returned from a family holiday and Wedding in Cork City and had the luck to stay at this lovely hotel. The Hotel Isaac is a quiet and convenient Hotel in the heart of the City. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and the Award winning restaurant 'Greenes' is well worth a visit. We had a fantastic 3 course meal for 32 euros. The location of the hotel means everything is only 10 minutes walk away and the beautiful courtyard with its pretty fountain is a bonus. We w... Read more

We staying in one of the apartments - a really useful find at quite late notice so that our daughter could be in a separate room. More than adequate space, travel cot set up as we requested. The kitchen was properly equipped (unlike a number of similar places we've stayed before), and everything was clean. Dining space manageable for two adults with a toddler, but would have been tight if four adults stayed. Parking is off site but near - as others say the need to keep returning key buzzers ... I was on a budget and opted to stay in the hotels single bed bedroom. The bedroom was a sufficient size but the ensuite was small and if you are clostraphobic it's not the room for you!! I did exactly what it said on the tin and as I was on a budget I can't complain During the short time I was there the staff were pleasant and helpful and had forewarned me of the 'box' room

Never having been to Cork before we did some research on the city before we booked, and apart from the the great reviews of the hotel itself it was, not only, within easy walking distance of the railway station and the bus station, but was perfectly placed for easy walking access to the city centre with it's abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. We were given a very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, deluxe room which has just had a make over and the quality of the decor and fittings in the... Read more

Beautifully refurbished, rooms are clean and very well equipped. Super friendly staff. No complaints at all. Smack bang in the middle of town, excellent restaurant and the waterfall is enchanting. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, it truly is a hidden gem!

Lovely hotel, in an idyllic setting, we were on the third floor. The room we had was two beds-one double one single. I think these are designed for hard pressed wives who want to get away from their drunken, snoring husbands!!! Beds are very comfortable, but they are made in such a way they are like an apple pie bed you can't get into! Free wifi, works well. Air con is good but sadly buzzes all night! There is very little noise from the front-we overlooked the road, plus excellent black o... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The staff are friendly and the room was large and comfortable- a great mattress, kettle in room and a safe. The bathroom looked new and had a shower unit rather than a bath. Breakfast was pretty good - a little basic but nice pastries and the full Irish was ok. Tinned fruit? A nice hotel in a nice part of Cork.

Had a two room apt. for our family and it was laid out very odd making it hard to have a common space (one dark hallway, with doors off that went to kitchen and bedrooms, doors that would not stay open). We also chose this primarily because it had a washer/dryer. Big mistake because the washer and dryer (an all in one unit) barely worked. Our toilet also stopped flushing but maintenance came right away. All in all, not a great floor plan and the infrastructure was just so-so. Desk workers w... Read more

Hotel right in the middle of it all in cork with lots of restaurants and sights within walking distance but not noisy at all. Waterfall lovely to sit and watch. Rooms are ok, no fridge or mini bar. Restaurant looks super but we didn't eat there as ran out of time.

We stayed here when my mother in law died. They were incredibly sensitive and flexible when my husband needed to change the dates and rooms. They accommodated me at short notice too. We've stayed here before and always had good value. The only slight downside is that there is no on premises parking which is ok for us but may put off some people.

Fabulous warm welcome by GM. Loved the modern room and layout. Bed too comfortable, nearly missed breakfast. Our deal included welcome glass of wine which we took outside to the little waterfall. Great way to chill. Found the hotel overall to be a place I would recommend to family and friends. Great pubs, entertainment and restaurants nearby so had lots to choose from.
