I work in the vicinity of this amazing Coffee bar. Thanks to its location I can have piping hot coffee or Herbal tea on demand. I also use it for lunch and it has a great array of salads and meats all freshly prepared . The shop is very well staffed by Kasia ,Paulina, and Natalie who are highly dedicated to customers demands and offer a prompt and efficient service. If you visit the Hotel you must try the coffee and the biscuit is scrumptious . Coffee at the Atrium is 5 star experience.

Great hotel extremely close to shops and restaurants/bars. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely entrance to hotel with plenty seating area and atrium. Rooms a good size with double and single bed. Not sure our room had a power shower though. Plenty of electrical points. An ice machine would have been welcome for guests to use. Checking in and out was very pleasant. Only negative would be that the breakfast could have been a bit warmer. Amazed that the waitress in the breakfast... Read more

I stayed for two nights. The hotel building is more interesting than most modern hotels. The rooms are spacious - everything is spotlessly clean. I used for room service for dinner & breakfast. I was very impressed with dinner - I had the grilled salmon fillet - better than many a meal I've had in a restaurant. The hotel has a proper gym - treadmills, loose & machine weights, pool & spa. The wi-fi is free and good. The hotel is in a great location - right on the river. Good for business or pl... Read more

Stayed here for one night. No issues other than the price of the parking (‚?¨12 per night) we thought this was a bit much given that it's a 4 star hotel. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Very accessible for the city centre.

Stayed at the Clarion on May 27-28th. We were down for my sisters hen party. From the time we booked 6 months ago until we arrived we found the hotel extremely helpful especially Anne Marie who looked after our booking. She advised us on places to eat and drink etc in Cork. On the Saturday night we ate in Kudos restaurant in the hotel, food was very nice and prices were very reasonable. The Clarion is a nice hotel close to restaurants, pubs and shopping. I stayed here on a business trip. The rooms are odd in that each has different number of beds of various sizes. My room had a queen and a twin. Another colleague had three beds. I slept ok but had to request a top sheet. I thought that was odd, too. My queen bed was comfortable. I kept my window shut to keep the street noise out. Turning on the air helped keep the room a nice temperature. Breakfast was good. Coffee w... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Clarion for 3 nights and had a lovey stay here. The hotel is only a 3-5 min walk from the bus station and a 10-15 min walk from the train station and 5-10 min walk to the town, bars & restaurants. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist that met us was very helpful and gave us some ideas for dinners out and which bars to visit. The room was lovey and cleaned every day to a high standard. Perfect location for Cork. The city is easily walkable, so this provides a good base for exploring everything. Very nice hotel. Staff were helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking one branch of the River Lee. The hotel has an excellent fitness area that includes a pool and hot tub. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Cork.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and have had no issues. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff are friendly, courteous and able to assist with most queries or requests. The location is good and only a short stroll from the the centre of the city. Having only eaten breakfast in the hotel I can't comment on dining in the restaurant but the breakfast is certainly worth having.

I stayed here for two nights whilst working at Whitegate Power Station. The hotel is located in the center of Cork ideally situated for visiting the city center with underground parking an obvious advantage. The hotel was very busy during my stay. This hotel is in a great location close to the City, with some great restaurants & bar close by. Rooms are clean & functional, staff very professional. The only disadvantage was the amount of noise in the lobby late a night, too many people drinking. Not ideal when you have to work the next day.

We had two external facing rooms for three nights. Thank goodness our 3 boys are all older as both rooms faced an alley which was down from several adult "stores" and right below our room windows was a shelter/halfway house, where drunk homeless individuals would congregate from 6pm thru the night, to get a handout meal and then drink and yell and scream/argue. Very much enjoyed a relaxing few hours during which the barman made me a non-alcoholic cocktail. He took time to advise which one would be best given that it was non-alcoholic even though the bar was extremely busy serving food and drinks. Hotel located conveniently to the Marquee. The Clarion Hotel is a modern Hotel ideally situated near all amenities and night life that Cork has to offer. You are only a maximum 5-10 minute walk to pubs, clubs and some reasonable restaurants. I feel that the hotel is designed for short stays and is aimed at the business market and overseas travelers who are looking for a convenient city centre location. The choice of menus at breakfast and the service at this busy time was excellent and were on a par with any where else I have visited... Read more

A lovely hotel ideally placed on the quayside, the vehicular entrance is a tunnel to the side of the building (be wary, single entrance is two-way). Rooms are large, bathrooms are a=larger still and there was an in-room safe. Only had breakfast in the restaurant but there was it was a wide choice and with very friendly staff.

Having stayed many times in the Clarion, we live out of town, it was our fave Cork hotel. Well, stayed late July in a double room. We have tried various Superiors and Suites. I am now " fed up" of the Clarion. Either I am or it is getting tired. I have had enough of "Doors" as Duvets on beds without an option.
