Me and my husband just came back from our holiday at Bali. And I would like to make some review regarding Bakung Ubud. We stayed there for 3 days 2 night. The hotel place was secluded. Some of the pros and cons we got while we stayed there : Cons : - When I arrived at my hotel room, found some hair inside toilet floor, euwwww. - Wifi often disconnected especially when my phone was locked and by the time I open my phone, I need to key in all the user name & password all over again. So frustratin... Read more

It was a great experience with the resort and villa. The location is quiet and secured with beautiful view of the rice field nearby. The pool is cool and restaurant meal is tasty. There is free shuttle bus set in schedule three time perday for drop off and pick up from hotel to ubud central. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is big and clean! Love to stay there again!

We stayed in the deluxe room which was close to the pool and restaurant. The free breakfast was impressive with pancakes, pastries, baked veggies with rice and noodles as well as bread and cereal. Shuttle bus times were not frequent but you can also high the driver for 70 000 which is not too bad. Be careful of the taxi drivers in Ubud! Some can be very dishonest and aggressive but if you book through the resort you should have less trouble.

Away from the crowds in Ubud centre, this resort provides big rooms with ensuites, two swimming pools surrounded by gardens and views of rice fields. Its not dusty and noisy like the centre of Ubud. The main problem you'll face is getting to the city however theres shuttle services multiple times per day so if you are on a casual schedule you can take it easy. The breakfast and service is good. Note: Be very careful with the street "taxi" guys in Ubud - the shuttle services to and from the res... Read more

As a young couple on a budget we found that the Bakung Ubud Resort (BUR) to be adequate for our short stay of three nights. Our favourite thing about the resort was the location, as it was away from the busier streets of the Ubud centre, where most other hotels are to be found. Surrounded by open fields, BUR provided peace and tranquility. Ubud itself is approximately 10 minutes south, by car, of the accommodation and with the free scheduled shuttle bus is close and easy enough to reach. The sta... Read more

We had such a pleasant 3 night stay at Bakung Ubud, we wished we could have spent more time here. The location is out of town, however we really enjoyed the seclusion (plus there are free shuttle buses too and from the city centre) and the view of the rice terraces are just beautiful. The breakfast was good and we loved the dinner, the tom yum goong was a favourite. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean, and the 2 pools were also great. The service was also exceptional, everyone was friendly... Read more

A quaint little hotel situated amidst rice fields, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Not at a great location in terms of convenience as it is a few kms away from the city Centre. However they have a shuttle service 3 times a day that take you to the city Centre. The breakfast spread is excellent and provides good value for the price. The staff is friendly and is eager to help out. Did face a bit of a problem during check out as the card machines did not accept any of my credit cards. Overall ... Read more

This hotel offer you a room or a villa with a view to the pool, the breakfast is a buffet but i try a better one... No special mention for the staff which is correct but not as welcoming as i saw before Price to book a taxi or renting a scooter are higher than the hotel next to bakung ubud.

First of all, we search the Resort by Google maps but the direction is not right, I think we get lost by the map. Fortunately , we saw the Bakung Ubud car passed and ofcourse we followed right behind, and finally we saw the Bakung Ubud sign. Its really a looong journey :D We have stay for 1 night and booked the Studio Room. Once we arrived they upgrade the room with 1 bed Villa...thats Awesome!! but actually the room was to big for us hahaha...there is 1 bed room with TV and 1 living room withou... Read more
