We visited Puri Sunia as first stop on our 3 weeks honeymoon in Bali. We got picked up at the airport and arrived to find our room nicely decorated with flowers etc. The main pool area was closed due to construction, however the smaller - but still very nice pool at the resort was more than enough for us. The food at the restaurant was excellent and room service worked perfectly. Also we had two massages during our stay - Balinese massage, facial and manicure (a bit pricey compared to what you... We opted for the pickup from Bali airport and it was quite a drive to Ubud but it was well worth it. The entrance is unimposing but our view changed after the seamless checkin. We were offered refreshing welcome drinks and a meal was rustled up swiftly to soothe our famished stomachs. The resort is clean with friendly staff and yet a laid back approach. The room was enormous and with thoughtfully creative interiors. The signature colour scheme was a cream brown but it blended it perfectly. I kep... Read more

The hotel is beautiful. The staffs are very friendly.Food is awesome each and every dish is delicious with great presentation but expensive and the quantity is also less. Its in the center of ubud but the rooms have their own shuttle quite often. You wont find taxi outside the hotel. But over all the stay was luxurious , staff were super friendly and the food was finger licking good.

We stayed at this hotel for our final 2 nights in Bali. It is outside of Ubud, and very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautiful with a luxurious feel. The grounds are amazing and add to the zen like atmosphere and peaceful relaxing feel. Yoga is offered daily and is complimentary and a great way to start the day. The hotel restaurant and bar offers delicious food, good cocktails and fantastic service. Staff are friendly and helpful and always smiling. The Spa is gorgeous and offers a great r... Read more

Great personal, food and service. Pool villas are an absolute dream, with perfect privacy. If you stay close to Ubud ... Puri Sunia is your home and safe harbour! Unforgettable for the two of us ... thank you team!!!

We had the perfect five nights at the Puri Sunia Resort. Having spent a few hours visiting different villages with our driver on the way up, the drinks and cold towels on arrival were much appreciated. The resort setting is beautiful. We stayed in the Nandini Suite, which was lovely and very near the top pool. There were no mosquitos and the occasional rooster crowing didnā??t worry us. The pool was sunny, clean, quiet and relaxing. The service was excellent, the staff without exception, wer... Read more

You would think that you are crazy if you get out of bed at 7 a.m during your vacation, but the daily yoga classes of the hotel were a prefect start to a perfect stay. Truly a gem tucked in the nature outside of Ubud. The hotel is about 10 minutes by car from Ubud and in the middle of nothing. But that is kind of the point! We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but liked it so much that we decided to stay for an extra night. You can do plenty - and you can do nothing. What ever you choose you ... Read more

Every detail from the aroma in the room to the garnish a breakfast made this spot an amazing escape. The room is a island of tranquility. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel even has daily yoga classes. Only draw back is that its a big from from downtown where most the restaurants are, but it makes up for that in tranquility.

Staying a the Puri Sunia has been a wonderful experience. Every activity I attended was of a high standard and thoroughly enjoyable. I learnt so much about the local area and especially enjoyed the cooking class, bike riding, the rice paddy trekking and the Yoga each morning. With the availability of a shuttle bus going to Ubud during the day I did not feel isolated at all. The staff were attentive and very friendly and helpful. Rooms sizes excellent and the swimming pools were very enjoyabl... Read more

This was our second time in Puri Sunia Resort, nothing has changed in 2 years. Staff still as friendly and helpful as before. We had the same room as the first time we visited, room was clean and well furnished. The only less points were the internet connection in room 806 and the quality of the image of the television. Breakfast very good. Overall we were very happy about our stay.

Stayed with family and took 2 units. The resort itself is small and intimate with good size rooms and good bathrooms. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Food at the restaurant is good quality albeit a bit pricey. Regular shuttles to and from Ubud are a bonus. Would recommend and would come back.

It was our first time in Ubud and we stayed at Puri Sunia for 2 nights on Honeymoon Package for Deluxe room. (It wasn't really our honeymoon btw) The package offered lots of free activities; massage, yoga, rice paddies trekking, dinner, etc. But above of all, staff is the key. All of them are lovely, polite, helpful and always smile, which made the service outstanding. We had dinner here for both nights. Food was so tasty! First night, we ordered mango salad, Balinese salad (can't remember the... Read more
