mansion resort is the most beautiful and unique hotel i've been to. the hotel is beautiful. from the stunning entrance to a palace-like place, to the backyard which is beautiful and magical. walk around esp at dusk and you'll just be amazed. our grand deluxe room was beautifully decorated, soft with curtains and soft colors. staff are equally beautiful, dressed in colorful traditional balinese dress. they are beautiful inside out, nothing was too much trouble. food was good, and a good choice fo... My wife and I stayed for a week, we did not want to leave. If i could recommend someone and someplace to stay i would recommend Ubud and stay at the Mansion. The breakfast was great, the pools were beautiful the landscape was breathtaking. I definitely recommend getting out and enjoying the scenery. Anything u need or want to explore the concierge will help u with . We will definitely be back

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. From the second my husband and i arrived we felt like royalty. The mansion is absolutley gorgeous, from the drapes to the outside lounge area and pools....everything is exquisite! But what really made this place remarkable is the staff! They were always smiling, willing to help, and answer any and all questions you might have. The energy here is so calm and peaceful, i wish my husband and i would have stayed here our entire 12 days while in bal... Read more

Driving up into the grounds of The Mansion Baliwood is a sight to behold... From the guards at the gate to the grounds men, you are greeted warmly and sincerely with a welcoming smile. Firstly I should add, the airport greeting was great - no waiting around, your driver is waiting with a card in the air (your name in bold lettering) so there is no mistaking he is at your service! Originally this stay was for myself and my fianc├ę but he was unable to make it due to work commitments, so I asked... Read more

Best rooms which are spacious and very well designed , 4 wonderful pools, breakfast at the pool side, free transfer to downtown which is only 10 min away, well maintained gardens and fountains at every corner of the resort. Last but not the least Friendly and pro active staff. We would surely recommend this place!

Once the home of a rich Chinese from Jakarta, this magnificent hotel has the most beautiful grounds with 4 pools scattered around as are the rooms and suites. The rooms are furnished in the traditional Bali manner, dark woods etc and the main mansion is exquisitely furnished no doubt much left by the millionaire who once owned it. The bathrooms are magnificent with huge sunken step in stone baths. Cable TV and WiFi in all rooms, an international restaurant and spa facilities. There are free shut... Read more

Awesome place to stay in Ubud. Staff, accommodation and food are all great. Coach to central Ubud is good. Walls are thin in deluxe room and baby cried next door ???. More tables by the pool for breakfast would be good. Spa could be cheaper too.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on our first trip to Ubud and it certainly fulfilled our expectations. The gardens and scenery are exactly everything that you want from an ubud jungle hotel and the pools are beautiful. This is all complimented by the impossibly friendly staff who are possibly the happiest people I've ever seen. I will say that the rooms could use a bit of an update, or at least ours could... I broke my leg midway through my stay here and they upgraded my best friend and i from the beautiful amazing deluxe room to the absolutely palatial rooms, as it was closer with less stairs for my cast/crutches. Staff very very helpful and friendly, crisp clean bedding and towels, gorgeous surrounds/grounds. Even before the upgrade!!! BUT. Dinner @ indochine was undersized, overpriced and lacking flavour. My husband and I were lucky to have experienced The Mansion for our honeymoon. The resort was so amazing that it exceeded my expectations on every level. Located in Ubud, which is usually bustling with tourists, the Mansion itself is situated in a quiet and peaceful area where you are sure to get the relaxation that the natural world has to offer. There are multiple pools, a spa, a gym, and a fantastic restaurant right on site. The free breakfast and reasonably priced dinner at the Indochine res... Read more

This is a great location for a lazy day in the sun, with plenty of shade if you need a break. There are many pools set out in a garden, not the iconic infinity pool photo scene, but still so beautiful. The food was good but overpriced, and the service very slow. Would go back because it's relaxing and beautiful

I spent 5 nights at this hotel with my 2 kids, ages 4 and 6. When we arrived late at night, our room had a dank mildew smell so we changed rooms the next day. The next morning, we woke to droppings on the beds and floor! I freaked out, thinking it was a mouse or rat, but the staff told me that it was a lizard (very large lizard!). We moved rooms again. Again, no real apologies or effort of the management or staff to apologize. I was disappointed in general in the hotel and experience - foo... Read more

Had an enjoyable two night stay at The Mansion. The "twin room" that we stayed in was huge and spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was also very big with an amazing stone bath. The staff were helpful even though many of them were very young and still being trained. The breakfast buffet (included in our room price) was tastes and had a nice variety of foods. This hotel is a dream, and easily one of the best ive ever stayed in. The hotel is like a village. Most rooms are located in buildings with two floors (one room upstairs and one downstairs). There are also various suites in separate buildings. 4 pools, many places to order food and drinks and daybeds/sunbeds for everyone. The perfect hotel for a couple looking for a place to relax. Fantastic staff and a restaurant with good food.

Spent three nights at the mansion and it is amazing. We had a bungalow room which is great with an outdoor bathroom but very spacious. The breakfast buffet is great but be careful as some tables get a lot of sun. So don't forget the sun cream. Cocktails near the pool are great and the spa really is amazing. A luxury treat on holiday.

It's like this place would have been amazing 20 years ago. It's nice enough now and the staff are clearly doing an incredible job at maintaining such an old property but I think it will need a really good face lift if it's going to see in many more years ahead. There are lots of pools to choose from but two that were definitely not up for swimming in - all murky and full of leaves, while the other two that I swam in were lovely and clean. When you get here explore around and you'll find the best... Read more

Friendly staff and drivers. Good prompt service for room service. The free shuttle service to Ubud is very useful and on time. The swimming pools are kept clean. Things that could improve is breakfast specially cooking fresh eggs. Asked for sunny side and gave me over easy :D It's not a massive issue but would have been nice. Gym has good basic equipment for a good quick workout. Overall clean friendly place with staff giving 100% service

This was a lovely hotel. So peaceful and relaxing. There's lots of different pools and coffee bars and the staff are the friendliest I have come across! Every single one said hello when we walked past; a great way to cheer up your day :-) breakfast was very good and the rooms were comfortable. Massive bath tub as well which was a novelty. 5 stars all the way. Loved it!

The staff was amazing. A small gong was hit when we arrived. We walked to our room and this place is huge! Somehting like 4 pools. Great place to relax and learn the history. Walk to Warribee open wild life zoo was amazing. Must go The restaurant food was very tasty but when ordered the food to the room it came cold and very very over cooked. There was no different menu for room service. After ordering two entrees and two dinners we had to eat on our bed as there was no table in the room and we stayed in the suite.

Booked direct with the hotel booking a grand deluxe room for one night and were left disappointed on check in. After a long check in we were given a tour of the hotel or should we say hotels. We soon realised that the Mansion and Baliwood were joint properties sharing same facilities. This for us was a shame as we booked what we had thought was a 5* hotel but got 4/5*. The grand entrance doesn't match the rest of the hotel and it's grounds. The staff are lovely but there is a clear absence of leadership and management. The place needs a complete refurbishment with old sunbeds, untidy pool areas, broken tiles in bathroom and poor standards of cleaning. We spent a week in a grand deluxe room here in August 2016. The grounds are breathtaking, the room had everything you need and the staff are amazing. There are lots of little places to chill by the pools and the staff will bring you drinks and food.
