The best thing about Gusti Garden is its central location, the heavenly gardens and family temple. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable, the fan worked well and kept the bedroom cool. The bed linen and towels were clean but a little old, which is of no importance really. Breakfast although small is more than adequate and it was very nicely served, by polite young men. We found the food in the little restaurant good and ate there twice during our stay. There are quite a f... Read more

Good: 1. Perfect location with 5 mins walk to the Palace and Starbucks 2. Clean room 3. Helpful employee to arrange your day in Ubud. 4. Good place if you want to experience to be a local people. 5. My room is at 2nd floor and you can enjoy a starry night at your door. 5. It's a good price so you should not expect everything is perfect... Something Can improved: 1. Some room are not with enough lighting. 2. Toilet is pretty old but functional.

In 2011 I've stayed also in Gustis's garden. Nothing is changed in the time, they didnt make any improvements. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are clean. But a few little things were'nt nice, like the hot shower didnt do it, the towel was not refreshed even we stayed there for 4 nights, the pool wasnt clean. But the most sad thing to notice is the lack of enthousiasm of the staff. They dont see to care any more. Maybe spoiled by the massa tourism in Ubud over the years? Nice place, but ho... Read more

The best in this Hotel was the pool. The Breakfast was not good, the room was dirty and smelly and old. The furniture was not even a bit of nice anymore. There are better options in Ubud, for the same money,

Just 2 good points : the garden & swimming pool. Luxurious plants with small basins full of fishes, and a clean pool with fresh water. Rooms: old. Bathrooms: old and dirty! I found a strange brown thing in the bathtub...don't want to know what it was... Breakfast: light with a choice of pancake or toast. A small plate with 5 pieces of fruits was also given, better not being hungry! Now for the rate, you have what you have... But inside Denpasar for the same rate I had a lot better... I don't re... We came here as a family of 4 with 2 kids and 2 more adults so we had 3 rooms. All rooms were dated like they have not seen any upgrade since they were built at least 20 years ago. Electric sockets came from the wall representing a hazard, not something you want your kids around. Door locks were of the flimsiest quality. Rooms do not get cleaned in between, we stayed 3 days although we booked for 4 but we were so disappointed we had to leave. Staff does not care and are slow. Breakfast is very ... Read more
