we stayed here for 5 nights, upon check in the guy asked if we wanted to upgrade our stay so we did which not only included a slightly better room but also to have afternoon tea and cocktails as well as breakfast. OMG the breakfast was amazing, about 8 different stations to choose from. Our room was awesome as we could swim out out door and around to the main pool. We did water aerobic one day and the kids loved the kids pools and slide. Everybody was super friendly and the service was great.

We just finished our first trip to Bali two weeks ago. The trip was fantastic. The resort was first class and staff were nothing short of amazing. The service check in to check out were friendly and helpful. The Kweezeen Restaurant staff were exceptional right from the hostesses to the servers and cooks. Deserving special mention are: Ari Dewi, Yogi Widiadi, #Hardika, and Tisnia Bali Mode. If we had the names of the hostesses we would have given them special mention also. We also enjoyed s... I cannot fault this hotel. It is just beautiful. Probably the nicest place I've ever stayed! I just found Nusa Dua a little boring. Full of resorts. Not the real Bali. Prefer huddle and bussel of Legian and Seminyak. If you love resorts then go here. It's wonderful.

The overall experience in Sofitel is great and amazing. I had special arrangement with Tika ( Guest Relation TL) and thanks to her to workout a surprise for my boyfriend during the stay! The breakfast is incredible with choices of food. So remember to wake early and enjoy the breakfast! I also had beachside seafood buffet at night which is okay for the price and quality of food. The only downside is the beach where we can't really swim in the sea due to the strong current.

Great new modern resort at the main beach at Nusa Dua. Sofitel at its best. Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful. Cut Catch Cusina, possibly the best restaurant in Nusa Dua. We stayed in a Club room, so we had access to the club lounge. Good service, food and drinks. Not sure about all the little kids running around in the lounge at cocktail time.

We stayed here for 8 nights. The villa we stayed in had a garden, lawn area, outside shower and private pool. The service from the butler staff for the villa was amazing - especially Edi, he is awesome. Third times staying here, and the hotel facilities is regressing rapidly. For a luxury hotel under 5 years old, many of the hotel facilities seemed under maintained, for example, many of the state-of the-art controllers in the guest lavatories did not work, broken shower holder in my room and water pressure was uncomfortably low. I also found that my dinner experience this time was below expectation. The first time I had dinner at Cut Catch Cucina everything was perfect, so was the second time l... Read more

Staying in the Sofitel is just a wonderful experience. The staff is always smiling and ready to help, the rooms are big and well furnished, the pool is also great. There are so many things in this hotel to discover that you really need to take your time to enjoy all the facilities: the gym (with sauna and hammam), the spa (even on the beach!!!), the different restaurants, the dances at night... 3 nights is just too short to enjoy it all and I will definitely come back whenever I can!!

Sofitel Nusa Dua claims it is a 5-star Luxury hotel, but unfortunately we didn't think so. When we first arrived to the hotel, we went to the reception room to check-in, and it was swamped with guests. Celebrated my husband's birthday at this beautiful resort with a 3 day stay, and the staff were endlessly attentive and always displayed a cheery disposition. The prestige suite was sprawling, with all our needs well taken care of. Not only did the staff surprise my husband and I with a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine, they made sure to be as helpful in answering all our queries, from directions to food recommendations. Although there were a few minor issues like a leaking mini fridge and ... Read more

We stayed in this hotel with our family and booked a Prestige suite with pool. We asked a few days before an early check-in and upgrade if avaibility. The day we arrived (11am), the room was not ready and no upgrade while there was availability in Villa ... The hotel and beach staff has no amiability, barely a hello or a minimal attention. We wanted to go to the hotel shop, nobody knew when it opened (it was 14h) ? Positive point : the complex is very nice with lot of flowers and trees an... Read more

If a hotel is rated based on its ability to fix its (minor) mistakes, then Sofitel Nusa Dua is going to top the charts. Our stay started off in a somewhat weird way since the extra bed we asked for upon booking was missing - not ideal after a relatively tiring trip with children. Let alone the fact that the luggage delivered to our room were not exactly ours... Enough with the negative stuff. These two episodes had their happy ending in no time. I have stayed in a few Sofitels around this world... Read more

We stayed at the Sofitel Nusa Dua for family holidays in Prestige Suite with Pool. The hotel is very nice with beautiful green areas; the villa is very well equipped with good size, modern style. It has a nice terrace and a very nice pool but shallow (1.15m). The only problem of this hotel is the service with an incompetent staff. Before our arrival we requested an early check in upon Availability and we received fabricated answers. On site we realized that each person had a task and knew it an... Read more

The Hotel Mangers need to be commended as they have they have the staff trained beautifully and to a very high standard. The hotel itself is second to none, huge breakfast options and other restaurants are good (not great) as well. The landscaping Is phenomenal and the all staff exceptional from a service perspective. Our prestige suite with plunge pool was amazing, pool was a very good size and the butlers we had were amazing in every way - nothing to hard! We travelled with a 7 month old and 3... Read more

Here partly on business trip, very nice place, bit of a long flight from oz, staying in standard luxury room, had to find our way around at first, could do with a good brush up on room maintenance , just stuff that they should not need to be told about, they should just do it routinely. Nice room, great resort, lovely ambiance.

This was by far the best hotel/resort I have had the pleasure of staying in. The pools are amazing and the dining venues serve up some of the best food in Bali. The staff are excellent in the way they welcome you and go beyond their job to make your stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Rena the pool side/ restaurant waiter who never forgot to say hello, always had a smile and was fantastic!

ROOM: If you guys going to stay here, pick the room with private swimming pool. The private pool is connected to the main swimming pool. They also provide weight scale which is so important for me! BREAKFAST: They provide various types of cuisines and you can even make your custom noodle. Definitely going back!

I recently spent 8 nights at the Sofitel in Nusa Dua with my wife and 2 children. We stayed in a suite and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. The girls shared a fold out bed. Sofitel Nusa Dua is an excellent stay in Bali. Very safe with ample security and a gated entrance with guards. The beach is wonderful, the food is sensational and the staff are so very much Balinese friendly. We cant speak highly enough for the hospitality we enjoyed at this 5***** resort and the rooms are extremely big.

I must say my husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Nusa Dua Resort. The accommodation, fabulous, the staff are so accommodating, incredibly friendly and very efficient, the food, excellent and now my only grievance was that guests are allowed to smoke in the eating areas. It is very off putting to non-smokers and not healthy around children etc. But all in all, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Beautiful hotel rooms and very eco-friendly with its auto turned-off aircon when you open the window. I love the bathroom inside the main bedroom concept. The room quite spacious for you to stay alone or with your spouse. The staff greeted me very well upon arriving and escorting me directly to the lobby. They assist me for an in-room check in and I was surprised with the amazing welcome fruit amenities (I must say it seems they put forest concept with the welcome fruit!!). The Club Millesime ... Upon arrival the scale of the hotel was impressive. We were taken to reception and told to have a seat. After about 15 minutes of nothing happening and other people checking in we approached reception. They were quick to apologise about us waiting, which seemed to be a miscommunication between the staff that seated us. The started our check in process and ushered us through to Club Millesime. We stayed at the Sofitel for just over a week when we visited Bali and we were blown away. The hotel is amazing and the staff make the stay so special, could not do enough for us. Our room was large and well equipped with so much space it was lovely to relax in just as much as at one of the local restaurants. The pool area is large and never had a problem with finding a bed and the same on the hotel section of beach. We didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on that but the food... Read more

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua is another amazing Sofitel resort in South East Asia. After staying in Sofitel Siem Reap (Cambodia) and Krabi (Thailand), this resort had a lot to live up to and it sure did. Firstly it's located in the perfect location for relaxation. All of the amenities are fantastic, it includes a white sand beach along with private beach huts, a generously sized swimming pool, a kids pool and a pool bar. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. We stayed for 4 nights... Read more

This hotel is like a slice of paradise of peace and serenity away from the thongs and singlets. Even with the hotel pretty full there was always a quiet corner to relax and catch some sun and have a cocktail at the swim up bar. We used the club room while there and found it a great bonus but it was also abused at time by rude parents allowing their kids to run wild. The staff are all just beautiful and so happy to help. I will be back.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Sofitel. Service was very good as were amenities. We were in a Luxury room nice and quiet on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice... Everything was lovely and fresh! The pool was great as were the beach facilities. We ate our meals at the main Restuarant Kwee Zeen and also at Cut Catch Cucina .... All very good.
