This was our 5th time staying here, this time we were upgraded to the ocean suite which was very spacious, including the bathroom. Room was clean as usual. It was quiet and a great place to relax, enjoyed the pool with a beach view, my daughter also enjoyed the mulia kidz club, breakfast was great with a widespread variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we would definitely come back to stay here again!

Stayed here recently for a business conference. Very hard to concentrate on the business as the hotel is simply magnificent. Clean spacious rooms, pools galore, right on the (clean) beach, delicious restaurants, really great for a getaway. Two frustrations were, the lack of an ironing board (what hotel doesn't have an iron or ironing board ?) and their unwillingness to give an hour late checkout even though we had been staying there for 5 nights! Mulia Resort is a 5 star hotel with Modern and Hi-Tech stuff. The waiting time for check in is not good. Compare to other other, where the check in time is 2 pm, the check in time in Mulia is 3 pm and in reality I have to wait for 40 minutes until I get the room. I had to wait around 90 minutes since we arrived at hotel. Furthermore, I have to keep asking the reception until they let me in into the room. Great property! Amazing beach and pool. The pool bar needed to be larger for the size of the property. Rooms are clean and updated. Sea views and temple views are really something. Kids club caters to younger kids up to 8yo. Only negative was the food. The restaurants are overpriced and not worth it. I don't mind paying a lot for food but the quality should match the price. Also the buffets were redundant and breakfast started to get very very crowded. I don't expect to wait in line to eat... Read more

The hotel is luxurious and the room is nice. But I wouldn't say the staffs are the friendliest I have ever encountered in Bali. The waitresses in the breakfast entrance area, the parking lot "officer", the pool boys are the ones we noted to be quite unfriendly. Not because they are not friendly, but I think it is because of certain rules and standard operating procedure set by the hotel management.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! It was literally like a dream world. No picture could do justice for me. But the only problem was the food. Buffet for lunch & dinner, Soleil and Table 8 was average food and over priced. You would atleast pay 1,000,000 rupiah *100aud per meal for two people. They lack a lot of variety and flavour in the food. If you want quality food with a reasonable price, the best thing to do is food delivery. This is a very large, good-looking resort in a nice setting but its poor management and inconsistent service keeps it from being rated higher. The room we were given had any number of problems, from the awful smell, faulty shower, missing towels, and broken phone. Over the next hours and following day, these were eventually corrected. My friend and I stayed at Mulia Resort for 5 nights. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and the facilities are world class. As someone who works in the travel industry, not only will I be back but I will be recommending all of my clients to stay here should they be looking for a beautiful 5 star option in the Nusa Dua area.
