When we arrived they took us to our pool veiw balcony room at joni 2. I was so upset the bed had mold on it, the air con didnt work and the place (joni 2) was empty. I can understand why no one was staying at joni 2, i felt like i would get murdered there!! But when we complained about our room they upgraded us to a room in joni 1. This part of the hotel was very nice. I enjoyed staying in joni 1 but would never ever stay in joni 2. Also one of the men who worked in reception was extremly rud... Read more

What a beautiful place to stay. We arrived for a weeks holiday minus our luggage which was left behind in Melbourne. We were greeted with a tall glass of orange juice which was extremely welcoming. Our carry on luggage was taken to our rooms for us and everyone was so friendly. The front of house staff followed up on our luggage the following day and it was there by late afternoon. Lucky clothing is so cheap. We ate our meals at the restaurant which had a lot of different varieties to suit even... Read more

POSITIVES: Location is great walking distance to anything and everything. NEGATIVES: Rooms 227 & 318 TV did not work in 227 rooms smelt damp, bed & pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Shower water pressure in 318 was just a trickle and difficult to navigate. RECOMMENDATION: Spend an extra $5.00 a night and stay elsewhere. With my room experience I did not chance the restaurant and other hotel facilities. Definitely I will never stay there again. IS JUST MY OPINION.

We booked to stay here, on arrival we were told we were in the 'other part' which is located 200 metres down the road. It's called 'Joni' and is basically an old hotel that they've obviously brought and now use. Anyway the rooms aren't clean, the pool is much worse than the pool at the actual hotel, with an unattended bar meaning you can't get drinks. There isn't a restaurant on site as you aren't on site. Wish they had told me we weren't in Legian Village Hotel upon booking as I probably ... Read more

Excellent location with plenty going on near by. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were always very polite, helpful and friendly. The pools were on the small side but perfectly adequate, although I imagine in peak season things could get a bit crowded. The rooms were bit dated, but comfortable and clean.

Great location on Padma Street at the north end of Garlic Lane. We stayed in a luxury room on the ground floor. Rooms are a little tired and grubby, but if you don't expect 5 star luxury for 2.5 star price, you shouldn't be disappointed. Friendly staff and okay breakfast. Would stay here again on a budget.

I am giving this hotel 4 out of 5 because of the excellent customer service in this hotel. People there were friendly and were always smiling to serve you. Everyday they filled up my thermos with hot water. Indonesian staff were always willing to help me carry my things, gave me directions where to go, assisted me to get the Bluebird taxi to the airport. The cleaner also ran to me to hand my expensive things which I forgot to pack and almost left. I've been traveling for 26 years and have sta... Read more

We weren't quite sure what to expect as the hotel was booked as part of a flight package, so we paid a tiny bit extra to "upgrade" but didn't rule out the possibility of going elsewhere. From the start we realised that we were going to be staying there. At reception we were told that our room was supposed to be on the second floor, but as we looked so decrepit we were going to be put in a bungalow instead. It wasn't a real bungalow, just a good sized room with a bathroom on the ground floor. I s... Read more
