The 24 hour reception was great at 2.30am when we arrived, with complimentary drinks. We stayed in the sister resort 1 min walk from the main hotel but still had its own pool , security and great wifi. The rooms are big, TV with all channels, and cleaned every day. The staff were all amazing here. We had no local currency to pay on arrival and the staff were happy for us to pay the next morning, which is when we exchanged our money across the road in a booth at the back of a shop, all looks leg... I have stayed twice at this Hotel, both times at Joni2. First time last year with my husband and again this year with my daughter. Both times we have just walked in off the street and asked for accommodation. I really love the secluded location of Joni 2, yet it is still amongst great restaurants and shopping and less than 5 mins easy walk to the beach! The breakfast is included but basic however that's never been a priority for us as there are so many other options close by if wanted. The only ... Read more

Awesome little place. We stayed at joni 2. 40 bucks a night if your paying top price. Staff great. If you want somebody who knows everybody and everything. Speak to wally. My boyfriend and I stayed in Joni 1 at this lovely hotel. We had a very late check in and was welcomed with a cool drink and someone immediately took my suitcase to carry up the stairs to our room Everyone that worked for the hotel were very nice and welcoming, especially the staff in reception and the people that worked in the bar. Would like to especially thank Tude and Ketut for teaching both me and my boyfriend some of the Balinese language. We had an amazing experience in Bali.

This is the third time we have stayed here and I can honestly say we would never stay anywhere else. We are greeted like family and welcomed "home". The bar staff are second to none, with the fabulous Ilo always the highlight of our holiday, with her fantastic sense of humour and ability to get along with anyone and everyone. They also serve the coldest beer in Bali and great food as well. Not to forget the wonderful cleaners and ground staff who are so beautiful. Thank you also to Mirah, who ... Read more

We got the cheapest room just so that we had somewhere to dump our bags and shower before our flight home. The pool- water looks murky. I was about to jump in when I saw a cockroach taking a dip. Yuk! The room- cheapest room is seriously budget. Previous guest's half eaten chocolate bar still in the fridge. Mosquitoes everywhere. Felt dirtier after I had a shower. On the plus side, there is air conditioning. Whilst the newer, more expensive rooms do look quite modern and nice, I just can't get... Read more

We stayed here in a group. For $40 per night in a bungalow we all got free upgrade to the brand new rooms in Joni 1. The rooms were great for the price, the pool was lovely, great staff & OMG $4 cocktails that were delicious! Prime location, wasn't noisy like I expected either. For the price you certainly have nothing to complain about. Will be back.

The hotel has two different sections, Joni 1 the main hotel and Joni 2 a smaller section just down the road and down a private lane. We stayed in a Bungalow at Joni 2 for 5 nights. The bungalow was peaceful and quiet even though it was off Jalan Sahadewa (Garlic Lane) which is a hectic little street. The bungalow was quite small and did smell a bit musty and the bathroom could have used a bit of extra cleaning but it was in a great location, very close to numerous shops, massages, restaurants, b... This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and for the price we weren't disappointed. We were located centrally and within walking distance to the beach. We were in an older room however it was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The shower was a bit dodgy but most showers at this level of price are the same. The breakfast was adequate and as expected. The pool was clean although quite public. We would definitely stay here again.

Really really enjoyed my stay here. Was very impressed with my room (superior double) massive room loads of space and storage and a HUGE bed, really comfy too. For a budget hotel I thought it was great and excellent value for money. Very clean. Great location just a few minutes walk to the beach and close to plenty of shops bars and restaurants. Room was in the annexe across the road which was really quiet perfect for me. Lovely little pool there which unfortunately didn't get much sun but was v... Read more

As mentioned depends what you are looking for. If you're looking for stay at the hotel and enjoy time at the swimming pool with cocktail and amazing breakfast .It's NOT your hotel. If you are looking for base to stay for max 2 nights.Travel around and not spend a lot of time at the hotel or room. Go and try but bathrooms really wasnt not clean. I am wondering where the good or ecxellent rating came from. Dont buy room with breakfast . Its not in any standards which hotels which i stayed in... Read more

Legian Village hotel was a great location! Beach was a 5 minute walk. Great bars and restaurants in this area. For 30 bux a night this is perfect , you couldn't ask for much more. There are two wings of this hotel, I stayed in the West wing. Security at the entrance 24 hours. Room was cleaned every day , clean sheets and towels. There are two pools which are ok. This is a reasonably priced $45 per night hotel in a busy shopping area. The rooms are clean, perhaps $45 per night, a little jaded but have bizarrely short mattresses. The staff vary in their manners and I found it took some effort to get a smile from some staff. Other staff are polite and courteous. A tip I suggest. would be to train the staff to engage with the customers more.
