The Kana Kuta offers rooms on three different levels, a pool, and restaurant. The staff is incredible friendly and the food is definitely tasty. The only downside to this hotel is that it isn't exactly located next to the beach; about a mile away actually. We've rented a scooter the entire time we've been here though so it's not been a problem to get to the beach and around Kuta.

We spent one night at the Kana Kuta hotel May 28th The staff was very welcoming and kind, overall is a nice hotel and good value for money. Good breakfast, just remember to buy the breakfast voucher at the check if not included, it will be cheaper than if you buy on the day; room was nice but the view is terrible. All we could see from our room was mountain of trash. Bathroom needs renovation When we arrived our room was not ready (we arrived at the hotel around 11pm) so we went for a walk and ... Read more

Hotel is fairly new, excellent staff who try their best. Room is a bit small and you can see that the furniture/decoration is on the budget side. Small gym which is still useful to catch on some workout. Excellent value for money, you will need a scooter to go around as kuta is around 20 minutes walk. Would definitely use again.

I tried this hotel for the first time for quick get away. The hotel is located in the quiet area although it is close to busy simpang siur area. The mall and supermarket are nearby. The room is good size and well kept. Spotlessly clean. The bathroom is with enough amenities. They have nice swimming pool although the pool is not big. Their Indonesian restaurant serves good food. Arranged airport pickup in a spacious SUV with cold aircon and English speaking driver since we arrived at almost 11pm and didn't feel like contending with taxi drivers :) Smooth check-in and escort to our room. Plus : - Room was big enough and bed is very comfort - The room is clean and staff are nice - Breakfast taste ok, not too much option but for star 3-4 hotel, it is enough. Minus : - Weakness of this hotel is the bathroom. Water a bit salty and silky. the bathroom design not efficient. - Breakfast place is open air, so there a lot of flies. - Location a bit far from central kuta and road from Sunset road always closed. Only can go from Raya Kuta which is always traffic jam.

I have zero complaints about this nice and luxurious little hotel. We only encountered one problem and it was my own fault. I left a baby cup that had had some juice in it on the bathroom counter. Unfortunately you only get one chance to make a first impression. After a long overnight flight, on arrival around 12.45 you get told that check-in time is 14.00. OK that can be acceptable, and the welcome drink and small bag of Indonesian snacks a nice touch. Where they then lost was when other people arriving after you get checked in firs (well before 14.00), and you are still waiting well after 14.00, even after several queries that where brushed off. A shame, will not be a returning guest... Read more

The staff were super friendly. Balcony room over looking the pool was spacious. Breakfast was lovely, especially the pancake station. Drinks were on the expensive side considering what you can pay in Kuta. The only downside is it is about a 20 minute walk into Kuta and the road is not well paved the route you have to take. However this wasn't an issue for us as taxis were plentiful and cheap. And reception called us Blue Bird taxis whenever we needed them. 10/10 would stay again. Missing the poo... Read more

Just arrived home from another holiday to Bali and a delightful stay at the Kana Kuta. We have stayed at The Kana each September for the last 3 years and it consistently provides excellent value for money. We have all experienced hotels where the service and accommodation is great for the first year that a hotel is open, but then when you return, you see standards have started to slip. Well that's not the case with The Kana, they have managed to maintain that excellent customer service, as ... Read more

Staff are friendly, rooms are comfy (not awesome but good), very close (10' by motorcycle) to Kuta's busiest areas, but far enough to be quiet. Restaurant serves decent food and the breakfast buffet is nice. Good value for money!!

Our 6 night stay at The Kana Kuta we were greated with a much needed chilled drink and treated like royalty the whole stay, the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Our room was a deluxe suite not so deluxe view of the side street billboard lucky for us we spent the day exploring and site seeing. Our room was neat. Food was amazing we enjoyed our Breakfast buffet which had a variety of selections with omlette, pancake, noodle and porridge stations, cereals fruit and yoghurt as well as tradi... Read more

First off, the hotel emailed me a day before my arrival to ask if i wanted a pickup from the airport (with charges of course), and I replied a little too late and there was no confirmation on the pick up via email. The next day i arrived, and to try our luck, we looked for our names from the crowd of drivers there. We didnt see anyone, so we found ourselves a driver and took our own route. We took our lunch and arrived at the hotel only to find that the hotel driver is still waiting at the air... Read more

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we had enjoyed our stay very much. The location is probably not the best for those who would like to be close to the sea (around 1mile of walk) but if you want to avoid the business of Kuta's streets and still be able to reach the centre by foot, this could be just perfect location for you. Staff is extremely friendly and ready to assist you. Breakfast buffet is reach and is changing everyday - the mains such as cereals, eggs, fruit stay the same but oth... Read more

The Hotel is very nice not much in the way of surroundings and definitely a taxi ride to everything nowhere near shops or restaurants or the beach. The rooms were very nice comfortable bed good shower and air conditioning. The breakfast was very disappointing. Still a nice hotel good staff but luckily I had my own transport.

Its a pleasent experience right from the word go . We travelled on a leisure family tour with 3 Rooms for 4 days. The entire Hotel has employees all around always with a smile and never say No attitude . Breakfast had a choice to suffice all nationalities but if a few Indian breakfast items are added to the spread it will be great as a lot many travellers to Bali are Indians . Will surely recommend this Hotel to all my families and friends who has plans to visit Bali !!!!

Fantastic breakfast buffet, attentive staff, clean and comfortable room for a great price. Only drawback might be the location - the beach is walking distance but difficult due to crossing busy roads. Transport easily accessible from reception or front of hotel.

My partner and I came here for eight days. The room included a buffet breakfast that was above average, however the lunch/dinner menu was expensive by Bali standards and some of the portions were quite small. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and isn't for those wanting a party. It's a cheap taxi ride ($2 AUD) or 15min walk to the middle of Kuta, we found this ideal as it was out of the hustle and bustle of mainstream Kuta but still within reach of the nightlife, restaurants, shopping etc. The ... We cannot express how happy we were with our stay at the Kana. The staff are fun, friendly and efficient. This is not the Hilton, and it does not pretend to be, but it is clean and quiet and family friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. I would reccomend a stay here to anyone who doesn't need to be in the nightclub strip. Kuta beach and the markets are close by, and day trips are a breeze from here. We are going back, we love it!
