Heaven can wait - we found a good replacement here on earth! The Ayodya Resort has to be one of the, if not the finest, resort we have ever visited. The resort is magnificent to say the least. The staff are a credit to the organization - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. The accommodation is exemplary - comfortable, clean, spotless, and very well serviced.

We stayed here for 7 nights on a scoopon deal and enjoyed a fabulous stay. A large hotel with lots on offer including great food, lovely rooms, fabulous pools, table tennis (with a view), pool tables, bike riding, and all set on a beautiful beach where we swam everyday. We received an upgrade to a suite on the 4th floor with ocean views, it was wonderful!! Best yoghurt I have ever eaten at the buffet breakfast with lots of other yummy food choices. The staff were outstanding, we had to change ou... Read more

I visited Bali recently for the first time and stayed at the Ayodya Resort. I am happy I have made the right decision as my 7 night package included heaps of extras like the Balinese Buffet Dinner and being entertained by Balinese cultural performances, a Japanese Buffer Dinner and also the Balinese Massages. The best part of this package was the upgrade from a Deluxe Room to the Grande Room at the top floor. The Resort is huge and there are many restaurants catering to a variety of food choice... We booked with a scoopon for a stay at the Palace. This is a huge resort. Quantity not quality. I think it is 25 years old. I was disappointed that in spite of me advising that it was both our birthdays during our stay, we did not get an upgrade which was subject to availability. We had a room overlooking the car park. The woman who did our check in turned out to be a waitress in the restaurant. Pleasant but no concept of service. Told me to come back the next day to check if upgraded room av... Read more

We stayed for 7 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. We used a Scoopon deal, which paid for itself plus more. Amazing value! It was such a lovely place to stay, it's an older resort, but well built and exceptionally clean. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We had a issue with some flying ants invading our room and they moved us to a different room without hesitation. We ate at all the restaurants and they were all value for money. Buffet breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend, we will ret... Read more

It was our second stay at Ayodya.. After staying in Kuta and Ubud, we choose Nusa Dua to conclude our holiday. Nusa Dua much more relaxing place to stay ‚?? it is cleaner, classier and quieter when other areas of Bali. If you like shopping you need to stay closer to Bali Collection - secured marketplace with beauty salons, supermarket, beautiful boutique stores and lots of dining options. Tick the box! The Ayodia located only short walking distance away, but if you don't feel like walking, ... Read more

Like most guests we booked the scoopon deal which made the resort good value for money. This place is huge and for this reason I think the staff struggled at times to maintain HIgh levels of service, particularly around the infinity pool. I get that in general things in Nusa Dua are more expensive than the rest of Bali, however the cost of the beverages here were in particularly through the roof. Avg $7 for a bintang and $15 - $17 for a below average cocktail that at times had the glass half ful... Read more

My family and I found the Ayodya Resort to be ideal for our first trip to Bali. The reason we picked this resort was for the décor, we wanted to stay in a more traditional style hotel/resort rather than the more modern resorts. We found everything be fine including the numerous restaurants. Breakfast was extensive catering to all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were a little dated but nevertheless comfortable and roomy. Everything was in order. The resort is close ... Read more

We had a wonderful time yet again at the Ayodya Resort Bali. We stayed at the Ayodya Palace which is closer to the beach. Thank you Mrs Bina for making our stay so memorable..The Palace itself is an architectural delight to be at with its fish pond, lush green garden, private pool and all the goodies that you are offered during the whole day. But the most important factors for us to go back there was the warm hospitality of the Ayodya staff and the beach with its Bleu Turquoise water..We will go... Read more

Words cannot describe how amazing this resort is. The Ayodya is located in Nusa Dua which is about 20 or so mins away from the airport and also within a secure gated complex which accommodate other resorts (Grand Hyatt, Courtyard Marriott, Novotel etc). The resort is traditional in look but huge in size and on the first few days, you can easily get lost (yes it's that big!). But it is one of the best resorts I have stayed at. The rooms are very spacious and very luxurious. Ours had a balcony ove... Read more

Stayed on a Scoopon for 7 nights in April with my wife and 2 children aged 3 and 1. Room fine, breakfast plentiful. Atmosphere and friendliness of staff fantastic. We had such a wonderful time. The beach was excellent, so to the infinity pool and the children's pool where I spent most of my time! We genuinely had no complaints. The Scoopon deal was great and enabled us to have a Japanese culinary delight, Balinese buffet and traditional dancing. All in all a great place. There are more modern ho... Read more

Spent 8 days in an Ayodya Palace Suite with my partner. The extras included with a Palace Suite are well worth the $$$, e.g. daily complimentary mini bar, daily buffet breakfast and meals/drinks throughout the day. Plethora of restaurants in and around the resort site. Could not fault the service, ad hoc queries were attended to promptly (at all times of the day or night). Room was serviced regularly. Buffet/restaurant staff were kind, welcoming and efficient in their duties. Beach is relax... Read more

We were booked here by our travel insurance after I fell ill in Bali and couldn't fly. It is a very large resort (pack snacks for walking to your room lol) totally impersonal, with no atmosphere or quality. Everything is dated and needs refurbishment. Breakfast is like feeding time at a zoo buffet. We tried the seafood restaurant for a dinner and was let down with poor quality food and service so didn't try any of the others. Staff seemed to assume that we are idiotic and enjoyed being treated ... Read more

Great Resort and great service. I traveled with my wife and daughter and enjoyed the resort a lot. Friendly staff , great location on the beach, good internet and above all they offer great breakfast. The property is located on the beach with clean water, has two pools, a gym and several restaurants. Will stay there again if I go to Bali again.

Booked a twin room and were given a room with a single king bed. We asked the front desk for a change of room and they said housekeeping would come and fix it, but after some back-and-forth we managed to get a room change instead (so we could just use the room and bed freely). The second room was also a king!!!! Again the desk staff promised that housekeeping would fix it and we would not have to move rooms, but when we got back 6h later nothing had changed. We stayed in Ayodya Palace for the 7th time. The reason we and many of our friends come to the Palace is an extraordinary service and sense of paradise you feel there. Unfortunately lately they allowed kids to be there, and now the whole Palace basically is a kids club. It kills the idea. All of us (about 26 people)have decided we will definitely come back only if it'll be adults only as it was before.

We stayed in the Palace section of this huge resort in June. We booked a Scoopon deal and decided to pay extra to upgrade to the Palace section. Check in was quick and included a lovely welcoming ceremony but we were informed that our palace room would not be available for 2 nights. We were put into a deluxe room. To be honest we have never been downgraded in a 5 star resort due to overbooking and the deluxe rooms are very ordinary, 3 stars at most and definitely not suitable for a family of... Read more
