Heaven can wait - we found a good replacement here on earth! The Ayodya Resort has to be one of the, if not the finest, resort we have ever visited. The resort is magnificent to say the least. The staff are a credit to the organization - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. The accommodation is exemplary - comfortable, clean, spotless, and very well serviced.

We stayed here for 7 nights on a scoopon deal and enjoyed a fabulous stay. A large hotel with lots on offer including great food, lovely rooms, fabulous pools, table tennis (with a view), pool tables, bike riding, and all set on a beautiful beach where we swam everyday. We received an upgrade to a suite on the 4th floor with ocean views, it was wonderful!! Best yoghurt I have ever eaten at the buffet breakfast with lots of other yummy food choices. I visited Bali recently for the first time and stayed at the Ayodya Resort. I am happy I have made the right decision as my 7 night package included heaps of extras like the Balinese Buffet Dinner and being entertained by Balinese cultural performances, a Japanese Buffer Dinner and also the Balinese Massages. The best part of this package was the upgrade from a Deluxe Room to the Grande Room at the top floor. The Resort is huge and there are many restaurants catering to a variety of food choice... We booked with a scoopon for a stay at the Palace. This is a huge resort. Quantity not quality. I think it is 25 years old. I was disappointed that in spite of me advising that it was both our birthdays during our stay, we did not get an upgrade which was subject to availability. We had a room overlooking the car park. The woman who did our check in turned out to be a waitress in the restaurant. Pleasant but no concept of service. Told me to come back the next day to check if upgraded room av... Read more

We stayed for 7 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. We used a Scoopon deal, which paid for itself plus more. Amazing value! It was such a lovely place to stay, it's an older resort, but well built and exceptionally clean. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We had a issue with some flying ants invading our room and they moved us to a different room without hesitation. We ate at all the restaurants and they were all value for money. Buffet breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend, we will ret... Read more

It was our second stay at Ayodya.. After staying in Kuta and Ubud, we choose Nusa Dua to conclude our holiday. Nusa Dua much more relaxing place to stay ‚?? it is cleaner, classier and quieter when other areas of Bali. Like most guests we booked the scoopon deal which made the resort good value for money. This place is huge and for this reason I think the staff struggled at times to maintain HIgh levels of service, particularly around the infinity pool. I get that in general things in Nusa Dua are more expensive than the rest of Bali, however the cost of the beverages here were in particularly through the roof. My family and I found the Ayodya Resort to be ideal for our first trip to Bali. The reason we picked this resort was for the décor, we wanted to stay in a more traditional style hotel/resort rather than the more modern resorts. We found everything be fine including the numerous restaurants. Breakfast was extensive catering to all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Words cannot describe how amazing this resort is. The Ayodya is located in Nusa Dua which is about 20 or so mins away from the airport and also within a secure gated complex which accommodate other resorts (Grand Hyatt, Courtyard Marriott, Novotel etc). The resort is traditional in look but huge in size and on the first few days, you can easily get lost (yes it's that big!). But it is one of the best resorts I have stayed at. For reaching nearby conference centres this hotel was perfect. The Nusa Dua area in general is a secluded, quiet area away from the bustle and culture of Denpasar, but still within easy taxi distance of lively areas such as Kuta. My husband and i stayed here for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon. Upon entering the lobby it is seriously breathtaking, with incredible high ceilings and attention to detail. The resort itself is huge, allow yourself 10 minutes to walk to the pool/beach/lobby from your room. The rooms are a little dated. We stayed in Tower 1 on Level 2, and had apparently been upgraded. The room was still quite small though so i'm not sure what was originally planned for us. During one evening, the people n... Read more

We stayed as a family in the Palace section of the hotel and right from the start with the private check in the whole experience was just wonderful. The bathroom especially the shower could have done with modernising but it was well maintained. The beds were great, the linen nice and soft and there was a pillow menu to ensure you had just what you wanted. ... Read more

If you look at my previous reviews, you will see I stay here often, and I love it. But I will take one mark off on this holiday, because of a couple of not good experiences at the resort restaurants. And it was then great. In the Italian restaurant we chose NOT Italian (and unwise choice). We... Read more

Just spent 10 days at Ayodya on a Scoopon Deal (thankfully) in the Palace section and must admit I feel a little disappointed, not as disappointed if I had paid full price. Firstly The Palace section: Rooms Nice rooms, good size bathroom, flowers, fruit basket & treats each day, turn down service and soft drink mini bar free each day. Breakfast Variety good, although over it by 10 days but what hotel is any different. You can choose to have breakfast with the 100s of others at the front of the... Read more
