I came here with my husband when we arrived in Udaipur, I would definitely recommend. - really nice staff, super helpful and spoke perfect English - rooms are clean and spacious - great views onto the lake, especially of sunset, a must do in Udaipur - going round the city palace in the complementary golf buggy is awesome.

The hotel did not meet expectations in a number of ways, but two stand out. First, the rooms are in dire need of renovation/updating. The common areas, however, were beautiful. Second, the bar and restaurant staff had no concept of service. I have to assume that management does not set customer service standards. Staff would completely ignore us until finally confronted with a loud "can we order?!". Then, the attitude was terrible. My friend and I were completely baffled having experienced only ... Read more

First off, the staff are wonderful. To note, however, we booked this hotel via the hotel website and most, if not all, of the website images are of the adjoining, sister hotel. The dovecote rooms at Fateh Prakash are dated, consistent with hotel that had its heyday in the 1950s and 1960s. The room we were given bore no resemblance to any image on the website.....a small, single panelled window with faulty blinds and a bedside lamp which gave off electric shocks (though remedied......with tape)... Stay at Fateh Prakash Palce was indeed a ‚??regal experience‚?? with heritage touch. Enjoyed warm hospitality and enjoyed every second of our stay at the property. Udaipur is full of tourist destinations still one felt at comfort staying back in property as it had so much to offer. Cuisine which can really give pleasure to your taste buds combined with such soothing ambiance.overall an amazing experience. looking forward to be there again.

Situated by the lake side , Fateh Prakash Palace is a place worth staying. It is located inside the City Palace campus with golf cart and speed boat facilities. This saves the tourists of any added cost of travelling to City Palace which is the most visited tourist spot of Udaipur. The boat facility provides a beautiful experience of the lake. The Hospitality of the staff was of the highest standard. The hotel strongly recommended for honey mooners

Maharaja must have thought something before developing his palaces into 5 star hotel properties located in heart of Udaipur. Well, September in Udaipur is hot during daytime. But you can not have everything going for you. That is where this extremely well located and heritage hotel works it's charm. The staff are friendly and helpful. They welcome you in typical fashion with smile on their faces. Rooms are brilliant and well maintained by housekeeping. The restaurant "Sunset Terrace" serves go... Read more

Everything felt right about this property. The value one gets when compared to the so called luxury 5 stars is the differentiating factor. We were given 2 adjoining rooms and the room in general and the views from the balcony were simply amazing. As with most boutiques the service in general is average but regardless this place is a winner. Special shout out to Rahul who went out of his way to enhance our experience.

We stayed at this hotel to experience palace. But we did not get the experience of one. swimming pool is at very far distance, actually it is in another hotel of the group. Separate bed is compulsory if child age above six year. for that we were charged about 60% of the room charge. Yes, 60% of the room charge for extra bed. Food is average but very expensive. Only positive thing about this hotel is fantastic view and important sightseeing points are around the hotel only. Will not stay here ag... Read more
