There is a complimentary pickup advertised on Hostelworld, but that does not exist. The room was quite clean, although it had practically no window (the window opened into a shaft running through the building). Hot water was unavailable for a while since the equipment had become dysfunctional. The staff offered a bucket of hot water, though, which was nice of them. The food was fine. The check out timing can be inconvenient.

I had to search for few hotels at 7 pm along with family because the resort which has asked me to come directly I did not like it. The room was bigger then most we have seen along with a extra bed and a changing room with dressing table and cupboards. The ambiance was nice, extra cushion beds, large bathroom with bath tub, good ranthambore art paintings, lamps, furniture, split a/c,a big LCD and a balcony with muddas. It does not have a big infrastructure like the resorts where kids have space t... Read more

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable with a nice pool and good food. The rooms were comfy and spacious, with no road noise. However, what really stood out was the staff, who were so helpful and accommodating; we had also booked to stay at another hotel, but it was terrible so we moved back to Tiger Safari Resort. The staff here helped us with the relocation, booking train tickets, transport and everything else we needed which made our stay so much easier.

They collect resort tariff, but it is not a resort in any sense. It is a Hotel with swimming pool thats all. Hot water is avilable only for limited time in the morning as in budget hotels even in winter. What use is a swimming pool when they cant even make hot water available. food is not tasty. there are better restaurants in the market where good food is available. not recommended.

This hotel is a very good value for the price. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. They have a restaurant with good food and service. I didn't have a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They are beyond helpful and nice. They go above and beyond to make sure you're having a great stay. When I needed cash they drove me to an ATM. They also helped me book my tiger safaris, checked train times for me, and even drove me ... Read more

We stayed at the Tiger Safari resort for one night and used it as a good base to do two Tiger Safari's around Ranthambhore national park. We saw two tigers!! :D The hotel itself was pleasant, very rural and basic but the room was spacious and air conditioned. The evening meal and breakfast were included - they were a buffet style and the food was good. The pool area seemed nice but we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Although the hotel is on a main road it feels quite secluded and not t... Read more

Resort is average ! We stayed only for a night. Breakfast is typical parathas and omelette!! Our main purpose was tiger sighting @ Ranthambore safari ! And we were successful so therefore our overall trip was brilliant !! And for the safari ride make sure book your safari rides one day before to get passes for good zones !! Zone 1-4 are preferred zones for tiger sighting!! All the best and have fun !!

Situated at a stone's throw from the Kolara Gate of Tadoba Tiger Reserve , this new resort is very homely and worth the money you spend except for the food quality to be improved upon. Rooms simple , nice and clean with comfortable beds and rest rooms also clean with just basic toiletries provided. Staff very much helpful and friendly. While on a wildlife you do not need extra luxury but a calm and peaceful evening and comfortable beds to spend the night. At the Kolara Gate , apart from other h... Read more

After visiting almost all of Tiger Reserves in India with no luck, this was the last one we wanted to try. And we got lucky! You have to make reservations months earlier. Online booking is easy and select your zones after reading the latest reviews. You make part payment online and a major chunk before the safari. There are several gates and zones and you enter from the zone gate you have selected. Pick up points are available from certain resorts and hotels. We got to see a 3 year old female ti... Read more

Stayed here, as I am sure most do, in order to go on a tiger safari. Otherwise not much to see or do in Sawai Madhopur. Hotel was nice, clean and staff very helpful. Liked the restaurant menu and food. Breakfast included with room was pretty basic, eggs, toast and coffee. The hotel helped arrange a safari, 1700 INR (25 USD) for a seat on a 20 person vehicle. No bargain there and I suggest if you can, plan ahead and sign up online at the park site and purchase tickets on-line for considerably les... Read more

Nice little place with pretty cottages arranged around a courtyard. Very clean inside & out, with glorious quilts on the beds for a winter stay! The pool was fresh too but there is little privacy as its in the central courtyard where the restaurant is also situated... The food was absolutely delicious and the staff offer very good service. Azeem the manager here was extremely helpful especially with the current money issues facing tourists in India right now. My only complaint would be the lack... Read more

Ground floor rooms are full of mozzies, fleas in bed, acarians in blankets, bedsheets are not provided, you're lucky if you can get some lukewarm water a few hours per day, don't forget your ear plugs to avoid noise from the road... well, indeed it is surely possible to find better.
