We stayed here for 1 night after completing the Rikshaw challenge and were impressed with the pool area and room we had. Breakfast was lovely and had plenty of choices. Our room was large and very clean. Overall this hotel is in a great spot and if you are happy to spend some money I'm sure you'll enjoy.

I had booked a room on 16 April 2016.They served the same food dishes for buffet lunch and breakfast. When enquired on next day with incharge person Mr.Glenn ...he told he wasn't around there and not aware of it . This I have experienced for first time in any kind of hotels. Very pathetic. Not recommended at all.

The Crown is a real oasis of calm & comfort to return to after the heat, noise & traffic of Paniji. Add to this the friendly welcome of all the staff, especially in The Harbour Restaurant staff, who couldn't do enough to welcome us & serve some delicious Goan dishes from the menu.A real treat. The hotel is well managed by Bobby who was happy to share his local knowledge of wildlife, plants & places to visit. The rooms were comfortable,as was the single bed, and finally the large pool was heavenly at... One of the best things about The Crown is the location. Centrally located in Panjim, it gives outstanding views of the Mandovi river. Well laid out and with really big rooms, it is a great business hotel too.

1st: It was lovely to be greeted warmly and to have everything go properly. 2nd: I was given a good room, and the room itself was clean, neat and properly stocked with all amenities needed to feel like you are at home. The location is on a hill in the heart of GOA from where you have a terrible nice view. The breakfast is certainly very good. An Indian as well as a Western breakfast! The restaurant must be one of the BEST in Goa. DELICIOUS! Therefore I would like to say thanks to: Glen, Rabin ... Read more

The Crown, Panaji, Goa When: 28-30 May Wanted to get away from the pressing project pressure and spend time with the family before my little daughter began her life at school. It was a planned holiday in terms of stay and travel. Otherwise it was just the usual trip, with no agenda and living life as it comes. The view and photographs on the website from where I booked were really nice, but could not imagine seeing this hotel ever in probably a dozen earlier visits to Panjim. As the taxi kept c... Well after travelling to places in and around the world and staying at many places.Hereby i would like to submit my first review for Crown Goa. This property boast about itself for being a 5 star but trust me its not even worth a 2 star hotel. I checked into a junior suite on 24th June'16 apart from being a large/big spacious room this hotel had nothing. Every room service order would take 45 minutes, food served was pathetic, cold and sometimes even stale too. Cheery on the pie was the hous... Read more

Stayed here for a couple of nights the room s were good and the view as well, finding this hotel may get a bit confusing as it is located on a hill and is connected by road and stairs with main Panjim road, there are good restaurants nearby, staff and service is ok, for breakfast avoid the desserts they tasted stale, other stuff was good.

I stayed in the Executive Room. The room was very big with separate sitting area. It also had a balcony but because of the rains, I could not use it. The look of the room & bathrooms were little old (basically not very modern) but overall the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small, specially the shower area when compared to the room size. I was not very happy with the breakfast spread. The taste of the food was good but choices could have been more. Nice hotel with a surprising ambience .. Reception on second floor and the view of Mandovi river front in really amazing. Nice sanitised rooms, small forest on 2nd floor also gives it a pleasing hidden cove like feeling. The hotel just behind the church of Emmacukayw conception. This is a good break from the beach by the night life of Goa and you can enjoy the casinos also at walking distance .. Excellent service

We were in the hotel (4th floor) only for one night, but were blown away by the easy access to Panjim. The hotel was 500 meters away from the casinos, which made the entertainment in the night in Goa very straightforward. I did not visit the in-house casino (I am a hound for Deltin Jaqk). In-house gymnasium is very good (albeit quite empty), and the dining menu is very customisable and good. Overall, had a great check-in experience, and a great overall time at the property. Right in the center of Panaji is The Crown. Value for money and is very well done up. Typically a family hotel. Rooms are good and furnished to the brim. Well stocked bar and great service. Clean pool is another advantage. They also have their own casino. Breakfast spread is great and honestly can compare to a 4 star hotel. All in all a truly value proposition.

Service is excellent, however rooms can be planned better. We booked the biggest rooms (the suites with terrace), however there was no mirror and dresser in main bedroom which was a problem. Also the fridge and ac somehow kept on stopping. There was just one person in the spa even though the hotel was occupied to capacity the whole time ! Being a hotelier myself think the staff needs working on their CUSTOMER SERVICE... besides that reception area was quite nice.. with an open view to the pool.. its a shame we could use any facilities as we stayed just the one night

I booked here due to good reviews but was mildly disappointed.Buffet breakfast had limited choices but the food was yum! The room we were given was stuffy and walls had moisture. Most of the room lights were out of order. The refrigerator wasn't working and only after our 3rd complaint it was looked at. On requesting a transport of 3 Km we were told the trip would cost us Rs 600 which we politely declined to later book a cab for Rs 100 for the same. This place may have a good casino but the ho... It is not a 5 or 4 Star hotel as displayed across many websites. The pictures can be deceptive. It is located near the Panaji shopping centre and overlooks the Mandovi river from some of its rooms. You can't get a property that's more centrally located and yet so secluded from the crowds. A small alley leads you up to a lift which serves as the entrance. Honestly, we were quite spooked looking at the somewhat shady looking lift. But when you get out at the top, it is a spectacular, panoramic view of the Mandovi river that greets you. The hotel is not a 4 star as shown on many sites. The approach to the hotel is through a very shady alley. They don't offer any airport transfers. The upholstery, curtains etc in the rooms are old and stained. Parts of the room and washroom has spiderwebs because they were cleaned properly. The food was just about ok. For a hotel like this, it was highly priced. The only plus was the pool side which has a nice river view.
