Hotel Savoy is part of Ooty landscape since the sixty years I have been visiting. It has charming hedges, flower beds, lawns and surrounded by pine and blue gum trees that swish away like pearly ghosts. The staff are beautiful people, helpful, attentive, and take decisions. They form efficient teams: front desk, restuarant, housekeeping and work hard to compensate for the hardware of the hotel. When the housekeeping staff were requested for extra tea sachets, they arrived with a large tray to ... Read more

Stayed at this hotel as part of a Titan tour. The accommodation consisted of lodges, we had an entrance with sofa and desk, very large bedroom with sofa, table, TV, wardrobe and large bed, and then into a walk in shower. The food was excellent, location brilliant. Highly recommend this.

Very friendly staff and great location combine for a very relaxing stay. We stayed in a cottage room behind the main building (Rm 109). Large room with huge bathroom and a separate tub and shower. Each evening they come and build a fire in your fireplace, you just dial "0" on the phone and about 5 minutes later a man shows up with wood and starts your fire. Comfortable bed and nice grass area in front of the rooms for kids to play or parents to relax on the bench swing. Bottle water deliver... Read more

And the staff was courteous enough to allow us to sit wherever we wanted - providing us multiple options. Will come back again and stay there next time

Disappointed about the whole dining experience. Look at the menue : so vast! But look at tge stuff they actually serve! Is there any corelation between what they offer and what they serve?
