We stayed there for one night, and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and stylish, the food was good and the staff were great. Wood Castle is conveniently located in an area called Karol Bargh. It is an easy 8-min walk to the metro station, and you are 3 stops away from Connaught Place.

We had a great stay at Wood Castle. The Room was clean and in good condition and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us plan our trip. The location is good - a little way out of the craziness of town but near a metro and well served by tuk tuks. The hotel also offers sight seeing packages for Delhi and around - we had already booked elsewhere but in hindsight it would have been good to do one of them.

I am familiar with Karol Bagh's bustling and noisy environment. But close proximity to metro ( 8 min walk) was the important factor for me to book this hotel. I arrived here in the evening, and expected noise and crowds like in the market. But this hotel is located in a residential area which is clean, quiet and definitely safe( for a single female). What a pleasant surprise. Hotel itself is well run - clean and well furnished rooms, complimentary water, clean linens, towels, working A/C, no pr... Read more

We stayed at the wood castle for 2 nights on our arrival in delhi. The hotel is slightly excentred, 4 subway stations from rajiv showk (connaught place), walking to the station (karol bagh) + transit to connaught is around 25min, but as the temperature was 46° this weekend it was a relief to take some freshness into the AC tube. The hotel itself is very correct, we had a room with AC (that was perfectly functionning), the room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Overall a good choice... Read more

Our room was fine, a bit on the small side but nice and clean. It is located in a side street and was nice and quiet. It was also within walking distrance to the metro which is handy for getting around (and also an experience in itself). There were restaurants nearby in walking distance.

We generally had a decent stay at Wood Castle, which is decently clean (if not totally). Breakfast was good, especially the Indian breakfast. On our last day, the reception staff gave us quite a lot of grief over using a credit card to pay, despite them having a sign that it was acceptable. They ended up being pretty rude and my friend and I were very frustrated trying to check out. Then the credit card machine "didn't work" and they made us pay cash. I checked my card after and it was working f... Read more

Location: Wood Castle hotel is within a 15 minute walk of Karol Bagh Metro Station, although its alleyway location can easily be missed. The rest of the city is easily accessible by the Metro; Metro cards are great value and highly recommended. Service/amenities: Though we somehow managed to miss the pick-up taxi they'd arranged, once we arrived the service was incredibly friendly. They didn't charge us for the taxi that we've missed. We were treated to a cup of tea and informed that due to a c... Read more

This is the second time we stay at Wood Castle, and we found it to be as good as the first time. The rooms are very large and clean, and the staff of the hotel is very helpful. Breakfast is ok, but there isn't too much choice. The location is good, close to Karol Bagh metro, and only a couple of stops from Connaght Place. All over we find this to be great, and good value for money.

We stayed at Wood Castle for two nights during the summer of 2016. Our arrival was in the morning after a long flight, but we didn't have to wait long before we could enter our room. The beds were soft but a bit short for tall Dutch persons. The room was small but cosy. I was happy to see that we had an AC, so we used it several times in warm Delhi. I had high hopes for this place, esp. as I knew my group wasn't going to enjoy the crowds of Delhi so much. And the reviews were mostly great. My suspicion is that this hotel was great under the management of the father, but now is just resting on its laurels under the son. I'd recommend going with another place that gets good reviews for hospitality. Certainly the hospitality South Asia is famous for was not on display during our visit.
