The amenities in this hotel are certainly up to the mark of a 5 star, but nothing else matches up. Most importantly, the hotel staff and managers are rude, unfriendly and discourteous. They care more about imagery and optics than the comfort of their guests. We spent three days and lakhs of rupees at The Umrao and we were extremely uncomfortable. I would urge you to find another hotel to stay at, either in a personal or business capacity.

Amazing property, great hospitality, delicious food! The hotel is structured like a palace with a very well designed architecture. The staff is very hospitable. The rooms are designed around an artificial water body which makes it look like you are in a different world altogether. Very quite and relaxing a place. We had the pleasure of staying at the Umrao for one night, with my family to enjoy the weekend. Upon entering, we were swept away by the serene elegance the Umrao had to offer. The wel... Read more

From the moment they pick you up at the airport with one of their chauffer to checking in. Hotel is even prettier in person. Their photographs do not do justice to the amazing well kept facilities. Checking in at 3am was just smooth as it can be. We were escorted to our junior suite which was set up with a bouquet of flowers, and a beautiful chocolate cake to help celebrate my birthday. Breakfast is served at the gorgeous open atrium restaurant that faces the pool. Just stunning . We had dinner... Read more

Only stayed one night before flying home and I think hotel knows people only stay one night...bed had been made but there were hairs in bed and toenails on the floor so obviously not cleaned. Bathroom looked nice but shower didn't drain quick enough and so flooded rest of bathroom. Good selection at breakfast though.

It is hotel inside a luxury marriage resort. I was denied booking by telephone by hotel manager on the day of check in on some lame excuses . When I insisted that I am coming with my family to attend the wedding at the same property, they asked me to shift at a near by hotel . On my continuous insistence after reaching there around 9.00 p.m. (after a tiring flight) , I finally got the room at 1.30 at night after attending the wedding.
