I decided to stay at the Lodhi instead of my usual hotel this trip to Delhi. The property is very well made and maintained. I expected better service though. Check in took awfully long even though I had called to confirm my booking with them. The rooms are spacious and they have a private pool. Didn't get an opportunity to use it though. The wifi connectivity was excellent. The food is average and the service took way too long. Not worth the money !

We were genuinely excited to finish a 17 day trip round India in this luxury hotel. We booked a Lodhi Suite with plunge pool which was fantastic but that was where the good bit ended. We arrived late so had room service and woke up next day to find a note under the door notifying us that the On The Waterfront restaurant and terrace would be closed for a private party for local customer. This is totally unacceptable they could have told us at check in but chose to leave it until the same day and ... Read more

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at this hotel, a former Aman property, in late May. Everything about this hotel is classy and the staff were simply incredible. The hotel is a haven in Delhi and worth every rupee. The rooms are outstanding, each with own plunge pool. The staff, outstanding. The grounds, outstanding.

I have nothing but high praise for our stay at the Lodhi hotel. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations. Due to some travel issues we did not arrive until 11:30PM. The hotel was more than accomodating, greeting us at the porte cochere by name when we arrived. We were asked if there was anything we needed on our way to the room and much to our delight, tea and cakes were sent upstairs so we didn't have to go to bed hungy. The room (5th floor) is a delightful oasis with seperat... Read more

We ended up at the Lodhi due to a series of unforeseen events after booking a luxury retreat in the Himalayan mountains. It was the best accident EVER! Every single aspect of this brilliant and beautiful hotel has been thoughtfully and artfully executed - every outlook, every nook, every room and especially the excellence in service. Even when little things went wrong, the team's willingness to get it right, delightful attitude and genuine attentiveness could over come anything. We used the spa ... Read more

We loved the Lodhi. I think it's actually 'underpriced' for what you receive in accommodation and attention! I had to laugh at the gentleman's sour review that the restaurant was booked out and he couldn't have a beer in a glass by the pool. Lol. Makes perfect sense to me given you'll likely break the glass! It still amazes me that because people pay a substantial amount for a hotel room they feel a sense of entitlment that the whole establishment should cease on their arrival, licenses shou... Read more

I had been here recently and saw few staff whom I meet last time. But one thing which was dissapointing was that there were house flies when having dinner and during the breakfast on next day. After raising Complaints there were none to attend IMMEDIATELY. Later i had the duty manager reaching me. With my busy schedule i could not catch up and had to leave since it was a short stay. It is a super luxury hotel in quieter place. it is near to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. There are limited rooms I was told 39 when I stayed. Room was quite spacious with a private swimming pool inside the room itself. Interiors with pink sandstone appear a bit dull but give a royal feel of being in any palace or fort. Restaurent also offers gourmet food. Good stay overall though at a high price.

I had never been to India and found myself faced with a business trip to Delhi. I must admit I was scared; reports of crushing poverty, poor infrastructure and other horrors caused me to dread the trip. After speaking with colleagues and researching reviews here, I decided on The Lodhi. It looked too good to be true; a private pool and a large sitting area in every room? A fully equipped gym that is "better than most private health clubs?". If true, I figured this would be a good way to buf... Read more

While this property is no longer part of Aman's resort portfolio, you can see the Aman touch everywhere.... from the incredible architecture (giving it a sense of place) attentive service. Similar to Aman properties, The Lodhi has a much smaller number of guest rooms than the typical 5-star hotel, yet still offers all of the amenities (such as 24-hour in-room dining, a fabulous spa and a modern gym) that large hotels offer. One of the best hotels ive stayed. The manager receives you right at the hotel motorlobby and escorts you directly to the room, forget about reception check in, thats old news! The room was not only spacious but luxurious. The pool is great but we had to bear when personnel sprayed for insects, i couldnt swim no more. But small detail among many many pros.
