Had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hotel recently with my husband and 2 sons aged 13 & 9 years. The interior is regal with antique paintings and calming fountains. The rooms are spacious. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance to Connaught Place so shopping and restaurants are easy to get to. It is also easy driving distance to the many sights to see in Old and New Delhi. The service is very good and the staff are very helpful. The wifi was not working very well ... Read more

wonderful ambiente , wonderful people, very good food.... one star less, because totally overprized and no good offers for business people... I enjoyed staying there, it is an oasis of peace in the middle of stinking and nervous new Delhi. But for this high room costs one could expect more luxury and more cleanliness.. But for the mostly very dirty and overprized hotels in New Delhi it is an absolute highlight.

Was there for dinner and managed to explore around the hotel. The christmas decoration on the main entrance was beautiful and creative. Love the old yet modern design of the hotel with a colonial feel. Would love to stay there and experience the hospitality one day.

From the moment one arrives at the secluded front entrance of this grand old hotel there is a sense of timeless elegance. If first impressions count, these are the ones we got from The Imperial: the liveried doormen and security men under the portico stand elegantly with their curled moustaches and turbans, and are discreet in their various roles. The spotless marble-floored entrance hall has pretty and smiling sari-clad attendants, whose jobs are to stand there and warmly greet us. The stunning... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip to India. It is a beautiful hotel with obvious history. The staff was welcoming, if a little distant and there was always someone in the reception area to give assistance. Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. We had a tasty snack in 1911 on the terrace. It was delicious, although quite pricey. Our meal in the Spice Route restaurant on the second night was lovely and the decor is a delight to behold. We would certainly ret... Read more

Nothing to complain . Well maintained and great hotel to stay, friendly staff ready to help. Good central location. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I am not sure I would recommend to eat at restaurants , they are expensive with no great taste.

My wife and I enjoyed a comfortable stay at The Imperial Hotel. The staff is efficient but not intrusive. The central location can't be beaten. The grounds in front of the hotel are a calming offset from the hubbub of the city.

I have wanted to stay at The Imperial for years and finally got my chance over new year 2016. Travelling with a friend, we booked a twin room. We were on the ground floor of the hotel with windows facing out to the back of the hotel, where groundsmen were walking by. It was winter and the room was cold, particularly the bathroom. There was no way to heat it up. I asked for a hot water bag for bed and just as I was falling asleep I realised my PJs were soaked. The bag had leaked. During the night... Read more

Having flown into New Dehli, as a start of our first visit to India, we were delighted to arrive at the hotel, after a long process through customs and the chaotic driving of India! It was thick fog/smog, which was to be the weather for our two night stay, which also meant it was chillier than we had expected.... The staff at the hotel were pleasant and welcoming. Our room was a good size with a decent bathroom but the view was of the car park, so it was fortunate we didn't spend too much time i... Read more
