Stayed here on and off during a "Golden Triangle Tour" great hotel with great friendly staff. Nothing was too much for them and we were really looked after. This Hotel is is a reminder of the days of the British Empire I would describe it as "Colonial" in style. Even had a happy hour in the bar so two for the price of one, always good.

Booked in here as part of a golden triangle tour. It was nice to stay in an old colonial hotel with lots of carjacker. It's a lovely hotel with a nice pool area, and nice big rooms and bathrooms, all beautifully kept. The food was excellent, with the food in the restaurant being espcially good. The small colonial bar was nice and they have a happy hour every evening. Staff were all very professional and very helpful. A very good hotel to stay in.

This is a most beautiful old hotel. It is left over from the old colonial days. The hotel is an oasis with beautiful gardens and swiming pool. There is also two restaurants and a bar where the food is wonderful and cooked to order. The staff are 2nd to none, there's nothing they wouldn't do for you if needed. All so friendly and helpful... They made us feel like royalty for the time I was there. First class and top marks.

An excellent, quality service in an old classy ambiance. Very spacious and very comfortable heritage rooms provided for a good rest after long and hot days?? explorations of Delhi. We stayed only five nights in this hotel and truly enjoyed every minute of it. Very professional and helpful staff, excellent food, served on the garden terrace or in two lovely restaurants contributed a great deal in making our two-week trip to India a memorable. This is a well maintained colonial hotel. All the staff were very friendly and they would do anything to make your stay comfortable. Having been on safari for 4 days many items of clothing required cleaning. The laundry service was excellent

I spent the weekend at this heritage hotel. The buildings and grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms have an understated charm that is reminiscent of the colonial era. I took advantage of the summer special and stayed in a lovely air conditioned suite facing the front garden. The back of the hotel has a nice garden and a swimming pool surrounded by tall palms and flowering trees. The staff, without exception, is friendly, discreet and extremely helpful. I had all my meals at the hotel and in... Read more

What an impressive place! As soon as you pull up you realise that you could be in another world, the buildings and grounds are beautiful and one can imagine what it was like 100yrs ago. The service from all staff working there was immaculate and a credit to their business. The food was high quality and nothing was too much trouble. The cocktail bar offers a Happy Hour which was well worth partaking in. Admittedly the rooms were spacious and clean, they would benefit from a small amount of redecor... Read more

I've stayed at Maidens twice, once in 2010 and in June 2016. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, especially with late check outs for those flying out late. The swimming pool is a great relief from the heat. The breakfast Buffett was delicious! I Highly recommend staying at Maidens!

Staff at hotel really helpful on our arrival. Old colonial style hotel with real style. Bedrooms good size with tastefully decorated and appointed bathroom. Breakfast excellent in the garden/patio area. Bar area too small but excellent bar staff make it really cosy and friendly.

A world heritage building. Classic building with British colonial charm. Giant rooms and suites with updated luxury marble bathrooms. Staff are incredibly friendly and fall all over themselves to be of luxury. Prices are great too. One of my most favorite hotels in India. I only stay at this hotel when in New Delhi.

I don't usually book a 5 stars hotel as I barely stay indoors when I am on holidays... I am more an adventurer but as I heard some comments about being careful in Delhi while walking around, or eating and drinking and the place looked fabulous I booked it and it was 100% worth it. The service was impecable, the food is undescriptable and the building is so beautiful, such a perfect combination. Nice, comfortable and roomy accomodation. Lovely little oasis in downtown Delhi with a decent pool to cool down and relax amongst fertile gardens. Quite an extensive bar with great cocktails, lovely food and the service from all staff was impeccable. Close to metro and 1 hour from the airport. Downside were the unexpected taxes and high cost bar beverages which added quite a bit to the bill. I'd consider a return if I scored a good accomodation deal.

The location is great and also very close to the super-efficient Metro. Great rooms and staff that resolved everything creatively and promptly, even when I was a(n overly) demanding customer. The hotel manager was present most of the time and was very dedicated. I would recommend Maidens to friends and definitely stay there again next time I'm in Delhi. It may not be the hotel with a busy bar and a lot of things happening on site, but as a refreshing oasis when exploring the amazing and hectic c... Read more

Great hotel with great service. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are very comfortable with great bathrooms. Beautiful gardens with a lovely pool (the pool could do with a bit of an update but it's still lovely) A wonderful, charming and very comfortable hotel in a good location for tourists visiting Delhi.

Every time I saw maidens I wanted to stay at least once to experience the place. Having stayed in Taj heritage wing in Mumbai as both the hotels almost started at the same time i was curious to check it out. It's a lovely property, front desk was very please the, all staff warm hospitality that India is known for and we'll kept heritage rooms. I loved the bathrooms that were upgraded to today's standards. Heritage suits were nice and do Tey the small bar.

Stopped by for a quick stop over on way from Delhi to Chandigarh. Found the place on google maps, and took a detour from outer ring road to stop-over. Wanted to eat at the restaurant, but the restaurant closes at 11PM. The property is very well kept, clean and well done. This visit was my second to an Oberoi's; first was Wild Flower Hall in Shimla. And we almost stayed at their Jaipur property before we found a closer property. The property is exclusive. Front desk host was very courteous, ... Read more

We arrived at 1am after a long journey and had a very friendly welcome and quick check in. Our rooms are just lovely, a mix of colonial charm and modern luxury and it's probably one of the most comfortable beds that I've slept in away from home. We just wish that we were staying longer.

The reception staff go out of their way to provide a good service and nothing is too much trouble. We had the Same room both times- free upgrade to a suite. It was huge, with a separate lounge and dressing area. The rooms are immaculate with plenty of toiletries etc. The shower was Devine- walk in with a rain shower head. The quality of furnishings we... Maidens Hotel offers a haven from the constant hustle and bustle of Old Delhi. Standing in its own well-kept grounds this venerable hotel is tastily renovated inside and the rooms are exceptionally large and well-appointed. A lovely hotel in Old Delhi - a quiet haven from the busy streets of the city. We stayed on our arrival in India and also on our last day - where they upgraded us to the suite. It was absolutely beautiful and the bed was so comfortable I had an amazingly good night's sleep. The pool area is lovely, but we would have liked a less brightly lit restaurant which was also surprisingly small considering the size of the hotel. This is a lovely hotel , quite an oasis in the madness that is Delhi. Built in the colonial era, it retains a lot of period charm. Rooms are large with powerful , large walk in showers. But it is the staff that make it special , whether it's the restaurant manager , bar staff or one of the gardeners , they all treat you like royalty and nothing is too much trouble.
