All of the staff were helpful and courteous and no weird man vibes as a solo female traveler ( which is a relief when travelling alone throughout India ) . The rooftop breakfast is pleasant . I booked Flight+Hotel Deal with Goibibo and received a good discount on the Hotel Price. Grand Godwin is located on Arakshan Road of Paharganj Area. The Hotel is quite good overall, but a few flaws here and there can be seen. They need to be told twice to do everything. Send Towels, clean room, bring water, etc takes time to respond. But, their rooms are really cozy and beautiful. Had a good 2 day stay over here. A good 3 star hotel for its price range. Did not like the area though, gets a littl... Read more

they put me and my partner into a "bunker" which located on ground floor in between office and coffee room for staff. Wifi cant connect in the room which is also smelly and noisy. As a light sleeper, it woke me up every time office door or coffee door closed or opened. Noise on street woke both of us up very early in the morning. Bathroom is smelly of urine in which I think it should be clean in a proper way. I booked a package included hotel room and pick-up at airport but there was no one sh... Read more

This hotel had most everything right. Clean modern rooms, no sewage smells in the bathroom, good AC, hot water, excellent service, decent internet, and decent food. What could have been better were the front desk staff. A friendly female touch would help as the all male staff have about as much personality as a Gestapo officer. Room was small but very clean. It didn't have a view and could have used some art on the walls, but at least the lighting mostly worked and the interior could go from dim... Read more

Lovely breakfast and yummy meals during the day on the rooftop. The lobby cafe is a great chill spot with great coffee. The property is fairly well maintained. However, a few things like 3 to 4 fused bulbs, empty soap dispensers needed attention. The upholstery was clean. the linen was also very clean. I always like a hotel where the bathroom looks so clean that I can walk in barefoot into it...and this was one. The complimentary breakfast at rooftop restaurant was fairly good and filling.

Comfortable room; helpful staff; excellent restaurant. Five-minute walk to NDLS train station. On negative side, failed to pick us up at airport, as previously arranged, then claimed our flight was hours late when it was actually early. Offered to cover tuk-tuk ride to train station as compensation, but not close to full cost of airport taxi that we incurred.

Grand Godwin is in a street full of hotels. The room is very nice. Ours was having tv, a/c, 2 chairs and a small table. Bathroom was near, very clean. Bed was very comfortable. In monsoon season the front street could get flooded. Staff is very helpful. We used the laundry system and it came the next day eventhough they mentioned was going to be ready the same day at 10 pm. In general is a good hote. Almost 1.5 km from the train station. We walked it and use the metro. Enjoy!

Rooms are comfortable, light and clean. Soft beds, nice shower, minibar, everything is there. Staff is very helpful. At arrival we have been served free water and juice. We have been helped for planning sightseeing in Delhi and for trips in India. Breakfast was served on roof top - tasty, continental and local food. Attached restaurant serves good dishes. We stayed to nights and will book again 2 nights after our tours.

I was pleasantly surprised seeing a such good room at that price in Delhi. It was very clean & contemporary. We stayed for one night during transit and Delhi sight seeing. The staff were very friendly. The food tasted well. They have complimentary pickup from the station too. This will be my hotel to stay for all future visits. Value for money in the capital.

My stay at the Grand Godwin Hotel in Delhi was hands down the best decision I could have made in my first trip to India. I was warmly greeted and welcomed after a very long plane trip from San Francisco, CA. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and clean; The wifi worked perfectly in my room, where as nearly every Hotel I've stayed at in India, Internet has been a nightmare. Breakfast was delicious and served at the rooftop restaurant over looking New Delhi's intimate neighborhoods. One of th... Read more

A nice hotel with helpful staff. Very comfortable room. The bathroom was exceptionally good with a shower that would not be out of place in a 5 star hotel. The location is in a bustling area quite close to the Railway station and just 5 minutes in a tuktuk from Connaught Place.

Don't let the chaotic , street outside fool you......this hotel is clean and a welcome bit of sanctuary from the urban mayhem of Delhi during the daytime. This place has fairly modern rooms ,a decent level of cleanliness, good Wi-Fi and a neat little rooftop dinning area for breakfast. You're also chose to more dinning opportunities, many on the street that runs parallel behind.

They gave us an upgrade from the grand Godwin to the grand Godwin Deluxe hotel, but we're not sure if there is a diffrence. Anyways, it is a nice hotel. But with the first room we had bad luck because in the bathroom have been some mildew. But they didn't hesitate and we got e new room. The rooms are new and modern. The breakfast is very local, so don't expect to much if you don't like the indian breakie. We think a very good place to stay in Delhi. You are in 5' by the main bazar and in 10' by... Read more

This hotel is very close to New Delhi Railway station. One could literally walk to the station. We chose this as we wanted to catch an early morning train. Also it is just 10-15 mins by anto rickshaw to Chandni Chowk. Rooms are decent size - we were worried that rooms would be small since the hotel is in Paharganj but room sizes are pretty good in this hotel. Well equipped. Shashank helped us with smooth check in and check out process.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, mainly because the staff and more specifically the person in charge of booking excursions was constantly trying to scam us. It felt like a battle every time we tried to arrange travel and excursions through the hotel. For example, we agreed a price to rent a car and then he put a higher price in the card machine and then when we queried it he quickly backtracked. However, he suddenly told us that there's a 5% charge for card payments. There was... Read more

Rooftop terrace is great for breakfast and dinner, both of which were really tasty each time. The hotel itself is quiet and tranquil, and your doorstop you're straight into the amazing mayhem of Delhi, very easy to get your own transport from here, or the hotel will be more than happy to arrange this on your behalf. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this November. The rooms themselves are very nice and affordable, however, it's impossible to drown out the constant noise from the street. It's a good way to keep you from sleeping in because by 7am you won't be able to ignore the constant horns honking relentlessly and people yelling in the street. Also, if you plan to go to sleep before 11pm you will need headphones or earplugs. I'm not exaggerating folks, bring earplugs! The restaurant food was very del... Read more

Hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were fortunate enough to be placed in a room with a window (its common in that part of Delhi for rooms not to have windows) It was a such a peaceful oasis from the chaos of the New Delhi. The breakfast buffet was some of the best breakfast I had in India. A special word of acknowledgement is required: Above and beyond all of that, the hotel owner/manager, "GT" (forgive me if I have mis-remembered your name) went absolutely above and beyond to be frie... This hotel has a excellent ratio quality/price.For same price than other places here quality is higher. The restaurant in the roof is excellent. You can get a complete menu for 8-10‚?¨. Food quality and taste is high. Recommended to observe the original system they have to get the food from the opposite building where the kitchen "send" food to the restaurant. Have fun! 15 min walking from main bazaar. 10 min waiting to railway station. 100-150 rupees a tuktuk to jama mashid mosque

We arrived in Delhi and were collected by the hotel driver from the airport. From the arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful. Khar Shakeel was brilliant at organising our trip. We only had 10 days in India. He organised a tour of Delhi and then a driver to take us to Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar. All the hotels he booked for us were excellent and there were guides in Agra and Jaipur. The driver was also so very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Grand Godwin.
