This hotel is located at the end of park street. You will have to walk around 1/2 km for food in park street. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast buffet is awsome and has many varieties. The superior room is a bit small, but is ideal for couples. A third bed is a mattress and so it takes a lot of room, i don't recommend a third person in the room.

A nice and comfortable hotel on the Park Street in Kolkata this hotel has all the basic facilities. It has good restaurant options and is by all means a good hotel for a relatively short stay in Kolkata. The location of the hotel is ideal and the staff is nice and cooperative

Stayed there for a night. The room was well equipped but a bit small. Decent & courteous service. It's not bang on to park street but the end of it on a very busy junction. So it's a bit of walk if you want to go to the main part of park street. All in all decent but guess a bit overrated on the web

First impression while entering the lobby was like yet the hotel to do the final makeover for making the lobby a bit appealing. But once you head towards your room floors it is like omg... They literally have tastefully designed everything that a 3 star hotel needs to... Very very smart rooms, thoughtfullly designed common floors, Wi-Fi even on the common sitting area, cozy sitting arrangement in the common areas of every floor would seek one's attention.. Only suggestion is the rooms window gl... Read more

Decent air-conditioned rooms with comfortable mattress, cushion & pillows for a perfect sleep after a long & hectic day. Breakfast menu was the best among all other similar facilities I have been into in kolkata and other places too. We got to the airport in the late morning, and the driver (who had arrived early) was very kind to us. He knew all the roads, and got us to the hotel and the airport (while returning) in record time, despite the famous traffic jams! The hotel itself was perfect. The room was spotless, the manager and the concierge were very courteous in welcoming us, and we felt very safe! At night, the soft pillows and comfy bed made up for the traffic outside. The food was amazing, both the hotel restaurant ... Read more

I travel every year to Kolkata but looking for a budget room between 3 - 5 K for a single person per night always end up in 3rd class hotels. Hotels in mumbai and Kolkata are sure expensive compared to other cities. Anyhow i found a very good flight + hotel deal online and trust me when i tell you this hotel say 3 star but is not less than any 4 star hotel. Not looking at the amenities though but for business travelers looking just for a comfort stay they have super rooms with great services. Ev... Read more

A tranquil space worth trying! Well behaved staff, Mr. Piyal Roy, the manager made sure my evening was awesome. Started my meal with the refreshing 'Barman Stand' which was yumm.. accompanied by roasted papads!! We had hot & sour chicken soup and sweet corn chicken soup, which were tasty again. Then chilly chicken made its way to the table, which was OK. Then for the mains we opted the plain and simple Egg Chicken Mixed Fried Rice with Schezwan Chicken... Firstly some good points: clean rooms. Good food with lots of variety. Good ambience . Areas of improvement: the bathroom door stopper latch never worked despite my numerous complaints. Pls avoid room number 312 because I am sure the management will never repair the latch. I had taken a superior room which to my surprise I found the room cramped with not enough space to keep your things. Also lots of noise since the hotel is located at traffic junction. This is a pure Budget Hotel . If you are used to 5 star or even 4 star property then this is not the hotel you would relate to. But if you are looking for the budget hotel then this is where you must stay. This is a clean and neat hotel but don't depend upon the picture as nothing is grand. It's all as per a budget hotel. Check in and out is smooth. Rooms are small AC is good but there is a helicopter kind of noise 24hrs.in the room which irritates a lot. Bathroom are clean but not well app... Read more

First of all, the hotel is where the Park Street ends. Its at a busy crossing called Mullick Bazaar crossing. So if you wanna hit the night life @ Park Street, you'll have to walk about 20-25 minutes. For any body who wants to stay over here, I would advise them to 'confirm' their booking, as i was a bit of a hassle for me. Having said that, the hotel is really good. The rooms are really clean (however a little 'dusting' every few days would have been good) and laundry service was also good.... Read more

You can walk down to the happening areas in Park Street from here, check out all the eateries and shops easily. If you have some work in the main area near Park Street, Camac Street etc. then this place is a great option for you to try. Rooms are decent with the necessary amenities. This is a most professionally run hotel, and is a good place to stay to visit the great city of Kolkata. The room was more than adequate, with a good bathroom. Service was quick and good. The area is noisy; but this is Kolkata! Wake up to the call to prayer! The buffet breakfast is good, as are the dinners. Not luxury - but a great place.

Situated in one of the famous streets of Kolkata is this value for money hotel. Famous for the biryani shop opposite the hotel. Food from the restaurant is decent. Low on local cuisine but has a good mughlai restaurant on the outside. The staff and hospitality is above average. The security guard is very helpful when it comes to assistance for local travel. Ask for Shiraz hotel to get to this place.
