Take a good look at the reviewers backgrounds - we were a little fooled here by the comments. Yes this hotel is fine, clean, rooms adequate but nothing special and if anything a little on the small size, bed good, pool OK, the restaurant was quite good - soulless, but food was OK after a long day on the road. So what is my problem you may ask?? OK to be fair it was on the back of staying at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur and the Leela Palace Udaipur and this hotel is not anywhere in this leag... This hotel was really good but my favourite thing of all was the service. The staff were very welcoming, and try their best to meet your needs and expectations. Especially a staff member called Rishab whom I dealt with the most, I think he works in the room service. His service was great, he always smiles and always asks if needed anything and very welcoming, and also his service was very quick. Overall a great hotel and 5 star service from Rishab

Well done to the whole team here - from the doormen, to security, managment to floor staff. Room 201 was ideal for my husband who spends some time in a wheelchair. Lovely warm welcome with staff eager to help us every step (sorry) of the way. The location is ideal, esp. for the Fort. The room was well lit and furnished. But it was the bathroom with superb shower - seat, grab handles, ease of use that sold this room. Even a grab handle by the toilet. On the ground floor, the room is not far from ... Read more

I like that place. It was definitely the best hotel from whole India tour. Very clean, everything in the room worked just perfectly Friendly helpful staff. Food was great. Servers in the dining room were little annoying - coming to your table every two min, but it is only concern. Good location also. Would highly recommend to stay there

The snacks particularly non-veg. were awesome. Even all the main course items were very tasty especially Fish in olives. The salads and desserts also to be applauded.

I must admit I was disappointed when I arrived at the Trident. It doesn't look as luxurious as the pics. It is very outdated. the carpet in the hallway smells. the staff can be considered somewhat irritating! I arrived with a friend and on the first day I was asked 3 times by different members of staff what my plans were for the day - after coming off a flight I did not want to make small talk with 3 different members of staff in the space of half an hour. This is a beautiful city which exceeded my expectations. The forts and temples where wonderful and was the highlight of the holiday. Hotel well situated with modern rooms, well appointed bathrooms and excellent gardens and swimming pool. Restaurant buffet, breakfast and dinner good but not spectacular. You'll find more luxurious rooms in other properties but the view of this property with the lake in your window is nothing but spectacular and is something that you cannot buy. Luxury in a room can be bought in your own city too, so that's point one. The property kept aside, the staff which is the biggest plus point. I have stayed at many properties but I have never received such hospitality. I would come here again and would recommend it to everyone.

Memorable stay from 2nd - 4th Sept'16. It is the best location to stay in Jaipur away from traffic and noise. Our family group was well looked after by hotel staff. Wheel chair was readily made available for my father in law. Kids enjoyed various activities at kids club and Ishali took good care of them. Pool was another attraction for everyone.Chef Rajesh and Vinay were good, Room dining was excellent. I feel buffet can be improvised a bit keeping Indian guests in mind.
