An impressive old building set back from the hustle and bustle of city life. On arrival you will be overwhelmed by the main lounge area which is amazing with huge chandeliers, a very high ceiling and it gives a real impression of what affluent life was like over 100 years ago. However once you are shown to your room and have seen the restaurant and swimming pool area, you might wonder if you have chosen the wrong place to stay at! Our advice is to not make any quick decisions as the charm of t... Read more

This is a quaint old Rajasthani house. The hotel is family owned and operated. It's in the front court and the family have their residence in the back. The hotel is old world charm with high-ceiling large rooms decorated with period pieces. There's one central large sitting room that adjoins a small breakfast area. Food is adequate - it offers a continental and Indian buffet. The grounds are ok but the service isn't great. It's vastly understaffed. We booked a suite and requested an additio... Read more

An old colonial building recently converted into a 9 bedroom hotel . If you seek authentic India then this is the place to stay . It has charm and character but it is in need of modernisation/ upgrade re wiring , heating etc . Excellent breakfasts but dinner needs to be ordered 40 minutes in advance ( cooked in separate building ) Staff and General Manager on hand day and night and will action any complaints / issues you may have with greatest of attention Excellent location for all major attr... This is a small quaint place with exceptional staff. Beautiful grounds with peacocks and friendly dogs that feel like family. Bed linens need better cleaning. Wifi access poor but still quite lovely. Owner was very helpful in many ways with our unique needs. Steep stairs to room would prevent handicap travelers from enjoying this location. The room smelled like roses in the entry way and the view of the infinity pool from room windows was very nice. We chose to order food from room service a... Read more

Loved the stay in this place, rustic old world charm with a lot of history. The host pallavi is a very warm person and so is the manager Paresh. The food is excellent and the host has taken every effort to comfort the guests at their best. Look forward to visit the place sometime if an oppurtunity comes up. My daughter is in luv with the place and will stay in our memories for a long time.

Pallavi's palace was an oasis in hectic Jaipur. Pallavi, who's family own the castle, was a gracious host, and did everything she could to make us feel welcome and looked after. The staff couldn't be more attentive and friendly. The rooms are big and very ornate. The palace is a little bit run down but it just adds to its authenticity. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

This place was such a delight to stay at. Rooms were spacious, food was good, and location was central. But the definite highlight of this hotel is hotel manager Paresh. He was informative and helpful, taking the time out to draw a map of places to see n where to shop at local market prices. He is most definitely an asset to this place.

Located near to the centre of Jaipur within walking distance of the Pink City (although, being a little warm for us, we took a tuk tuk!). Set back from the road in its own grounds, it was away from the noise and bustle of the city. Service was good and the food was better than average. The room was comfortable - but, bizarrely, had tea, coffee and cups but no kettle. , We were unlucky... the aircon unit in our room decide to "explode" just after we'd gone to bed on our last night - a loud ba... The hotel is very large and the staff is very friendly. We arrived at 7am and it was no issue to check in early. They also let us check out late as our train to Agra was at 3pm. The breakfast is very good and cooked on order making it fresh. The hotel manager was very nice and helpful. He gave us good recommendations where to visit. He also arranged a driver for us to take us to the sights for a day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
