What a beautiful heritage hotel this is ! Filled with old world charm, antiques , paintings it really is a palace and a visual delight ! We found the restaurant staff to be absolutely wonderful , very attentive to our needs , the food here is sensational and we didn't need to eat out as we also had wonderful Rajasthan dancers and musicians to entertain us each night. The pool was wonderful to cool off in , in the hot May weather. Our Royal suite was lovely although not large as we had hoped. All... Read more

We really liked our stay here but as the pool and the restaurant is a little small we didn't give it 5 stars though it deserves one. The staff is really nice and the owners are themselves involved in running of the hotel that is why the service levels are so good.

A heritage hotel with lots of characture, our room was beautiful with a smalll sitting room and four poster bed, very comfortable and calming. Rooftop resteraunt had a varied and good choice of food and the ambience was excellent. The outside pool area was lovley to laze in the late afternoon, few moskitos were around. Would recoment this hotel.

Original wing was under construction, when asked, reception manager himself cam forward and took me to this wing for a visit. It was royal, both the wing and the gesture. Also, appreciate that even though construction work was going on in a corner of this wing, they entirely closed this wing and did no bookings into it. Well it's not "money on mind" always. Another example of Royal Gesture. Apart from this they had comfortable clean rooms, good food and easy connectivity. It s very close to rai... Read more

It is a brilliantly painted beautiful haveli---almost look like a painted treasure box! The style in very Rajput, but, is also not over the top like some other palaces in Rajasthan. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated also. The staffs, particularly at the restaurants, are very cordial and always helpful. Washroom was getting wet due to some leakage. Staff is very humble but unprofessional. Some extra personal attention of the management can trun this hotel as finest heritage property in Jaipur.

Our family of 4 spent three nights at Shahpura House. It is a spectacular renovation of an old haveli. We stayed in the newer wing - the rooms were luxurious and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here for two nights 21-22/11/2016. If you are looking for somewhere to stay with true Indian style then look no further. On arrival we were greeted by very polite and attentive staff. We were sat down and given iced lemon tea and a lei of religious prayer flowers was placed around our necks. The hotel is packed with classic charm. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not for you, but for me it was my favourite hotel so far on our travels. The keys to the room are... Read more

We stayed in this hotel a couple of nights ago and were very impressed. The hotel has all the charm of an Heritage hotel but with modern decor. We have now stayed in several Heritage hotels on our tour and the thing which lets most of them down is the bathrooms which look dated. However, this was not the case with Shahpura House. The bathroom was modern with good fittings and lighting. We ate at the rooftop buffet one night and the food was excellent. The only slight annoyances were the un... Read more

When we arrived at this hotel it looked absolutely stunning. Our room was first class with lovely furniture. Before we had dinner we had a drink in the small garden which had a lovely swimming pool . There was a man putting up a little puppet theatre and we waited to see what would happen - nothing so we went upstairs to have a meal outside on the roof terrace. The food is average with not too much choice and service was ok. a bit hit and miss. There did not seem to be any staff to show you wher... Read more

This place is in a seedy part of the city and is called a heritage hotel. Part of it is older and the bedrooms are comfortable and ultra traditional , but not comfortable. The first impressions coming in are good, as everything has been created in an ornate Moghal way. There are plenty of willing young male staff, who are not all that bright; one or two older staff did have good customer service skills. Breakfast was a fiasco - poor food/selection, coffee had to be requested 4 times, quality not... Read more

Stayed at this Hotel 11/23 Check in was Great. You are greeted by flavored tea, Do take your Passport and Visa COPY. They are picky with this requirement (I appreciate it) Check in was very smooth and Sunil was great. The room service was Amazing. Breakfast was included and I must say one of the best I had in a long time. Overall a Great Experience. There is absolutely NO SECURITY GUARDS etc. The drive to the hotel is very weird. narrow streets, Hotel overall is a great historic property. ... Read more

We had the great pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel on a tour of the Golden Triangle. We'd arrived after a long car journey from Agra and my wife wasn't feeling well, with a heavy cold and cough. On telling the staff in the hotel restaurant we were immediately advised by Nagendra that she should have ginger tea with honey and Indian rum. This was produced straight away and certainly helped, along with the others that we drank during our stay, in helping her get better. If you're wonder... Read more

My two stars is for the service (or lack of) at hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and we had a suite which was beautiful and so much room Service was very very poor, we were in India 4 days when they removed all 1,000 and 500 rubies notes so it was hard to tip anyone. All other hotels we were in allowed you to add the tip to the bill but no not this hotel. A young lad ran after my husband to tell him he couldn't put the tip on the bill and held out his hand for his tip to which my hubby ... Read more
