this hotel was beautifully decorated, our suite was delightful and colourful and we had an additional outdoor space with daybed, we only spent 2 nights here but could have stayed longer. Staff were lovely and roof top dining was so romantic. The hotel is a little bit away from the city centre which suited us as it was quiet.

We stayed in a variety of different properties during our 15 day around Rajasthan and this was definitely one of the best. From the moment we walked in, you could tell this was somewhere special. The reception area is just that - a reception area, but then we were escorted to another room to wait while they completed check in formalities. OMG, it as absolutely unbelievable. I just loved this hotel - from the room, to the service, to the kind staff and most of all the food! Excellent dinner on the patio with live music and dance and a puppet show, great room service (though they only serve till 11 pm) and beautiful (I mean seriously amazingly beautiful) hotel. Even the pool, while on the small side and close to the road was great. I saw some comments that the breakfast buffet was western, but when I was there there was an array of both northern and southern india... Read more

Shahpura House.....what can I say OMG this hotel will treat like a king with the most incredible rooms and suites. On entry of the hotel your visual senses are blown completely this is the real Ritz of London quality I do not jest only a Maharaja would and could have created this to live in like a palace one half of the hotel building is used for guests with the other half in private use. The furniture and lounges are incredible ornate and as stunning as the next room. Our room on arrival was in... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights during our recent tour of North India and stay in Jaipur. The Shahpura House is a Heritage Style Hotel and is simply stunning inside. Shahpura House, once residence of the rulers of the Shekhawat clan of Rajputs. The house was converted into a hotel by Maharaj Surendra Singh ji and many of the original features remain. You would have to spend several days there to fully appreciate the splendor of the building. Although we didn't have any evening meals there we did have ... Read more
