What an incredible room, we felt like princesses in our big bed! Great pool to cool down in after a hot day site seeing and easy delicious breakfast. Thank you to the staff who made us feel so welcome and always had smiles on their faces. Would definitely comeback..

My mother and I stayed at Dera Rawatsar for 3 nights and we can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. The room with twin double beds was well appointed, comfortable and oozed charm. We took breakfast and evening meals in the hotel too. The food was tasty, unfussy and generous. But what really impressed was the warmth, attentiveness and efficiency of everyone we met who worked at Dera Rawatsar.

This is a lovely family run hotel in a surprisingly quiet location close to the metro and bus station. The rooms were beautifully furnished, the food excellent value and the staff couldn't do enough for us. It was an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle. A dip in the pool was a perfect way to unwind after a hot day's sightseeing. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

I stayed two nights in mid-April. In-room AC not adequate; did not reach bathroom (which was newly remodeled). Nice home-cooked dinners, but breakfast not good--instant coffee! Each room individually decorated. Lots of construction noise in neighborhood, even at night.

This was perhaps my favorite hotel we stayed at while we traveled in India. We were visiting for a friends wedding and stayed at variety of places including a large fancy hotel in Delhi to a cheaper hostal style place in Udaipur. This hotel had exactly the feel I wanted. The place was extremely clean and kept up well. The décor and style were very fitting to Jaipur. The hotel staff was very friendly and even gave us a larger room when they realized that there were three of us traveling toge... Read more

We had a tastefully decorated room (not easy to find) with one double and one single bed. We had to leave the A.C. on all the time, because it took a while to cool the room off (we travelled in May). The owners provided great service, and the food was delicious. The owner also found a reliable and fairly priced auto driver (much appreciated for 3 female foreigners). The grounds are beautiful, but if you go in the summer, it is harder to enjoy them because of the heat. Overall, I would highly rec... Read more

We found this hotel to be really beautiful. The room we had was fantastic-very spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The service at the hotel is flawless too. The hotel also has the added luxury of an outdoor swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay!

We have just had 4 nights at this hotel in area behind the bus station in Jaipur. Service good, room ok, looked amazing on Internet but actually ours was a bit dated and we are not tall people but our beds were too short. Old air con unit which was very noisy. Pool good for cooling off in heat of the day. Rooms serviced daily with clean towels. Reception and breakfast staff great.

This place felt a lot like staying in a very comfortable home with all the amenities of a good hotel. The place has been made quite rajasthani so you can feel the local culture a bit. The service and staff are excellent. There is a not a lot of rooms - more home like so not crowded at all, which is very nice. If you are into swimming, there is a nice one too.

One of the best places to stay in jaipur. Its bang behind jaipur bus stand - sindhi camp. The rooms are very very clean and cosy. The host are very heplful along with their staff. The food is just like home food - very fresh and well presented. An abso. Value for money.

The Dera Rawatsar is in a good position down a little side road but only a few minutes in a tuk tuk from the centre of Jaipur. I would not say the staff were overly friendly or helpful compared to other hotels we stayed in, but our rooms were really fantastic and spacious, we felt very safe and we had most amenities we could want (apart from strangely no hairdryer and the staff could not provide a plug adapter). Everything was clean, including the pool which we all had a good swim in. The res... Read more

Great Hotel with a reliable restaurant, a nice swimming pool and trustable employees. If you are looking for a good place to relax after a long day of visit in Jaipur, this is the hotel you need. This high quality hotel is located not far from the center and yet, it is really quiet and peaceful. The employee were really kind to us. The hotel is in a small street, south of the old city. The street is calm for Jaipur. The staff was very nice, attentive. Stayed there for 3 nights. We were 7 adults in 4 rooms, all satisfied of the big rooms. Good and big bed, AC, sofa... Breakfast is good, continental and indian. Restaurant (lunch and dinner) is good too. We stayed 5 days at Dera Rawatsar. We were picked up in the morning at the railway station and could check in in the morning, which was nice after a long train journey. We appreciated the garden and the swimming pool after a few hours visiting tourist spot in jaipur! The room was very nice, cleaned every day. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is rich, changing daily and the restaurant nice decorated. A real good place to stay in Jaipur! Christian and Ruth

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are large and I presume each one is different. The facilities are very good. We ate one night in the hotel and the food and service were excellent. The swimming pool is lovely after a hot day's sight seeing. Although the hotel is less than a five minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the metro station, it has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Good location and quiet hotel given where it is close to Pink City. Relaxed feel, with good food and helpful staff. Small hotel, so more personal touch without being intrusive. Views aren't going to be outstanding in this location, which is really a base from which to explore the Pink City.

Dera Rawatsar Homestay There are some very good things to say about Dera Rawatsar but there are so many bad things, unnecessary bad things, that for once I am going to start with those. First the Wi-Fi: the worst I have encountered in India. Their software is imposed between you and the web whose main purpose seems to be promote the Homestay, which is pretty pointless when you are already there, and with no perceived advantages for the guest, not even additional security: in fact quite the co... We were totally delighted when we arrived here on a tour round the North of India. The hotel has a very vintage and individualistic style and has beautiful furnishings. Our room was beautiful with a large window seat, and a large super kingsize bed fit for a princess. This place is an excellent choice of comfort when in Jaipur. The best part I'd like to mention is the service provided with the staff. A little mini pool adds to the beauty of the property with fresh cooked food to order as and when ordered. The open dining area would leave you with peacocks welcoming you during your afternoon meal.

Spent two great nights at the Dewa Rawastar in October 2016. Our room was lovely - even had a sun-room attached! The team running the hotel could not have been more helpful - they are very well used to hailing tuk-tuks for guests and the dhobi cost a whole pound! Lovely building, beautiful furniture, excellent food and a nice little pool. If you're in Jaipur, it offers a great release from the hustle-and-bustle!

Our first impression was not that good. However, once we had settled in, it turned out to be one of our favourites. Good sized room (203) and as it turned out, the ONLY one with outside space so if that is important to you, make sure you ask for this one. We were shown a suite but as it was enclosed, we turned it down. The best place for WiFi which worked everywhere in the hotel. Nice courtyard to dine in and good location to explore Jaipur.
