My wife and I visited Jaipur on the holi weekend of March 2016. We decided to stay at chomu palace. It's a very beautifully maintained heritage hotel. The entry to the property might intimidate you, but once you are inside, it's another world. We had the maharaja suite, which was quite luxurious. Only negatives - no wifi, limited options in the dinner buffet, far from Jaipur. Positives - many (peaceful, luxurious, well maintained, courteous staff - must mention Mr. Satyendra who was very nice to... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in February this year. It is a beautiful palace, our room was comfortable and clean. The only problem we had were the very noisy and inconsiderate couple of guys who moved in to the adjoining room at 2am. First they shook the adjoining door and woke us, then they put the TV on Indian cartoons so loud then they talked so loud for one and a half hours (like 2 old women) I complained to reception and they sent someone up but as soon as they left the noise ... I stayed at this property from 3rd Apr'16 until 5th Apr'16 with family. Being my 2nd visit in less than 6 months, I must admit that the "Bar of Hospitality & Service Standards" @ Chomu Palace has only excelled many folds. Needless to mention, Chomu Palace offered us- Sumptuous Service, Courteous Staff, Delectable Food & Great value for money as far this trip was concerned! A special note of Thanks & Appreciation to Mr. Satyendra Singh Shekhawat (Front Office Manager) for giving us this stupen... Read more

This place has maintained the sanctity of being of king's palace. The moment you enter the property you feel this is a king's palace. The food and service were also excellent. Visiting during summer is not very advisable as you won't be able to leave you before late evening as you just have indoor restaurant everything else is outdoor.

This Hotel is simply magnificent. I was going through my pictures, and I recall this ancient palace! I went there last year with a group of 28 canadians and we felt like kings and queens. This Wonderful hotel made us travel in time! The rooms are big, clean, luminous. The food is pretty good (Indian food!!) and the service was perfect. Special thanks Mr Nand Singh Ji for his kindness and his beautiful smile! You made this stay unforgettable!

We have planned our Social Club's Night out Program for 20 Families at this Amazing Heritage Property and Believe me we have experienced wonderful hospitality, very comfortable rooms and delicious Food there. Every Room is differently designed carefully according to old heritage look and interiors. Staff was extremely co-operative and helpful in making all arrangements for our group as desired. Peaceful Surroundings of Property was very much helpful in rejuvenating our Group members in large. O... Read more

Again, this was a few years ago just for a night. Compared to other heritage hotels I have been too, this was simply 'okay'. Rooms were also 'okay'. I remember it being like a maze - going up and down the stairs through different rooms, which was actually fun. The sunset was nice ‚?? with calls to prayers from the neighbouring mosques and temples all at the same time, which was quite special.

We had our wedding there and the place is very nice for events. The staff was very helpful and nice. Food was also good. Our event planner sorted everything out for us. Highly recommended for weddings. The surrounding areas of the palace might not be very attractive but once inside you are cut off from the rest and it's nice and peaceful.

Stayed here in September 1st week for a couple of nights. The place is simply amazing, add that to the great hospitality and the personal touch of the employees - the place is nothing less than perfect. The palace is more than 300+ years old and you will have that living in a palace feeling when you stay there. The restaurant gives some great options too.

The grounds were well maintained though the exterior of the building appeared not to have been painted nor pressure cleaned in a very long time. My room was very dated with worn furnishings though of decent size and clean. The breakfast buffet was quite large and with a decent variety of offerings. The surrounding town offered little and could easily have been skipped in my view.

It is a great place to come and unwind. Property-wise, it's the best heritage hotel I've visited in India. It should be fully explored. Specially the Sheesh Mahal. Staff is very courteous and respectful. Food was good. Having said that, they should do some extra things that will cover the last mile between great and truly spectacular. Firstly, they should provide a guided tour of the place since it is around 400 years old. Secondly, the menu needs to be revamped to include Rajasthani ethnic ... Read more

Chomu Palace is about an hours drive from Jaipur airport . the Palace is more than 300 years old and has a grandeaur feeling to it. The entry to the property was intimidating but once inside it's another world. It's a very beautifully maintained heritage hotel and be prepared for stepping back in time and feel the royalty of the place. The rooms are big, spacious, clean, well maintained and comfortable. Attended a friends wedding here, was an absolutely excellent venue. Fantastic service and enchanting grounds. It shows it's age in places, but the charm and nostalgic grandeur which emanates from the very fabric of the building completely blew us away. Do yourself a favour and buy yourself some royalty. Ps... Our bathroom was mind bending.

Chomu palace is the perfect place to escape the pollution and chaos of the city. It has a good pool, a sophisticated sports room and a big garden. We had 4 rooms and all of them were spacious and well maintained. The food even though less in variety, stole everyones hearts. The staff is cooperative yet really slow. Keep it up, management.
