You enter the hotel through a huge oversized pivoting door from the street When you walk through the view of the gardens, pool and the water is spectacular. We had a ground floor room, very spacious with an 'industrial' feel Also had lunch and breakfast at the restaurant and the food on both occasions was perfect. Had a light lunch of seafood salad, watermelon salad and another salad which I forget but all were brilliantly cooked and presented

Good location. 5 mins by rickshaw in to centre of Fort Cochin. 15 minute walk to Dutch Palace and Synagogue. Relaxing haven in amongst the bustle of the spice bazaar. Pool side and decking overlook the harbour.

We stayed at Xandari Harbour 2 nights and it was perfect. It is located 5 min walking from Ernakulam ferry station and 15 min walking from main Kochi attractions. We love the spacious room, industrial style, harbour view pool and the restaurant located in a historic building. The staff was extremely helpful. Overall it's a cosy hotel with a great ambience.

I stayed at Xandari Harbour for 2 nights and loved the place the from the moment I stepped in... Unlike most other properties where a grand reception area welcomes you, here as you enter the property, you see an expanse with a lovely green area leading you to the pool that shares it edge with the harbour..A swim in the pool would give you an impression of leading you into the backwaters... I found the place and the people very welcoming, very homelike. Since this is a smaller property with abo... Read more

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The staff was over willing to help....every detail was looked after. The chef was very kind to make my wife a special soup and other dishes as she was unwell. Christine did things out of the way to please us. Amazing breakfast and lovely variation of snacks at tea time. The habour view is stunning too. Clean rooms and good spread to commentaries about the room. The glass door of the toilet and the washbasin outside the washroom area is a no no.

Our stay at Xandari Harbour was just one night on the way to Munnar. The staff was courteous and service was excellent. The room had all the amenities although not very flashy. The shower could be improved a bit as the drainage was not that great. The breakfast was excellent and well served. Swimming pool area was very good. Views from the room and hotel were good.

Booked Spice suite...no hot water so checked out early. Staff didn't give any discount for the inconvenience (other than a the offer of a free cup of coffee). Even if there was hot water I would not recommend the spice suite. There was just lots of space but nothing in it. The balcony had a view of the mosque, so unless you like call to prayer at 5am not a good room. Although photos show view of the harbor, you have to strain to see it. If for some reason you do stay, harbor suite or harbor ba... Read more

Xandari Harbour was a small boutique property on the banks of the Kochi Backwaters. The rooms were tastefully done and the food was amazing! The breakfast was awesome right from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the wide selection of local and fusion delicacies! The staff was also very courteous & did all they could to make our stay a memorable one!

Xandari harbour is an amazing property facing the backwaters and port. You can always see fishing boats and even ships docked or passing by. The ambience here is just perfect for couples. It also has an open air swimming pool which is very relaxing. The rooms are good too. The sunday brunch is a must try here.

I have been to Xandari Harbour restaurant on multiple occasions. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing! The hotel has a very welcoming ambience. I don't think any other restaurant in Cochin offers the kind of view that the Harbour does.

Was travelling with two other friends and we had a very enjoyable stay at Xandari. Rooms were clean and good. The complimentary homemade goodies were delicious. We had taken the base category room but then it opened out to the lawn from where we had a lovely view of the harbour. Was wonderful to chill out there at night just enjoying the peace and quietude. Special mention must be made about the staff who were all very warm and friendly. Was surprised by the complimentary Breakfast menu. It wasn... Read more

We had an incredible jam packed stay in kochi thanks to the helpful concierge who organized our time there as soon as I arrived and asked for the help. We went on a house boat, toured kochi with antoni (highly recommend) from heritage tours and saw dancing at the cultural center. The service at the hotel is exceptional and so is the restaurant there. We ate almost all of our meals there because it was so good and reasonable. There is a beautiful view and the room is spacious and clean. We would ... Read more

It's good to nip into this hotel for sanctuary. It's smart, very ordered and calm; the restaurant is right on the water's edge so you can watch the birds and the boats. The water can be a bit smelly, but extra points to the management of this hotel because they make an extra effort to constantly keep their waterfront clear of rubbish!

This is a slice of calm and serenity which seems to have been carved and gently placed amidst the hustle and bustle of Bazar Road, Fort Kochi. It's within easy walking distance (1-2 kms) of all attractions such as the Jew Town or the Chinese fishing nets. Resurrected beautifully out of a 200 year old spice warehouse, this chic and minimalistic property overlooks the colourful harbour. It's a sheer treat to sit outdoors in its restaurant and enjoy a fabulous meal. In our 4 day stay we ended up h... Read more

Good ambience and beautiful exposure for your eyes and camera. At the well designed open lounge we were offered lemonade with ginger and fresh orange juice. Xandari Harbor is a lovely boutique hotel on the water. We stayed in a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. The room was very large and comfortable. It was really nice to be able to see the boats come in and out of the harbor through the day. The resort has a nice multi-cuisine restaurant. Our son enjoyed the fresh fish served at the restaurant. News paper must be supplied in the room. Also TV is an indispensable part of the life today. If the visitor is not interested viewing TV, he will not use it. Local dailies (Malayalam) should also be stocked in the reception along with other periodicals. In the bath, a low height stool should be kept for use by old age people.

Small hotel with loads of character and amazing staff. Christine is a great pro, thanks for your attention to detail! And people like Zinesh rival with the amazing view for what leaves the best impression in your memory. The pool, the remarkable restaurant - actually one of the best we experienced anywhere during a three week holiday - the shower, the bed, the quietness... you name it.
