It was raining in Kochi during my stay and the picturesque lawns and coconut groves at Le Meridian looked greener than ever before. It was a truly wonderful experience for me (DOS: 10 to 13 May 2016) ‚?? particularly due to the charming surroundings and the enormously helpful staff at this hotel. When I entered my room (# 507) I was so delighted to see the pillows arranged in the way I prefer. The hotel is good and the staff are very good. The breakfast buffet (South Indian) was not as good as expected. Some dishes lacked flavour. Dinner buffet was good. The concierge could be more attentive on guests arriving. The reception staff were exceptional; they were very pleasant and efficient. The bedroom was basic and the bathroom was very dark. Bathrooms should be bright. The toilet, on flushing, made an unusually loud noise while the cistern refilled. Room service used only to bring ... Read more

Stayed at this place over night in May 2016. Great location and good views from rooms. Very clean room with all amenities which one would expect from a five star chain. Dinner was great, we skipped the buffet but were pampered by the restaurant staff at Latest Recipes- in particular by Prateek Kumar who went to great lengths to ensure that my daughter (5 yrs old) was comfortable. He was quick to offer pizza and desserts to her which ensured that she slept on a full tummy. Will certainly recomme... Read more

I stayed here for 5 days and it is a beautiful property. The room was very cozy and comfortable and the view from my room was beautiful. On the flip side, I would not rate their service as great, the staff is mostly courteous but painfully slow. The food, especially lunch and dinner were just average. The location is bit odd too (lil far from the main city). Rating it very good only because of the property and rooms.

We were there just for a night stay as my business meeting took longer than expected. Right from check in, we were taken by surprise that all my preferences, like closer to the elevator, non-smoking, pool view, higher floors, were already taken care of, so no discussion was needed and the check in was so smooth. At the club lounge we had excellent hospitality courtesy of Mr. Sourab Adhikari and Mr. Bijo Varghese, later during Buffet breakfast, we had the personal attention of Mr. Sourav Adhikar... Read more

Travelled in a group of 13 including young children. Kids had a great time at the pool. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. They always try to meet our needs. Breakfast was fantastic with a good spread, Chief chef Mr Ranjen approaches customers and talks to them. We requested for some special item and he got it prepared for us the next day! All the staff were very attentive. Nice atmosphere, overlooking greenery!! My son had food poisoning on one of the days, Mr Mohammad was quick in arran... Read more

I had a short stay in the hotel so not much time to explore to property but few things surely I would like to bring to notice here. The bathroom of the room I was staying has lots of markings on the tiles and one can clearly make out that fixtures were removed and broken parts of tiles were just hastily filled with white cement or POP. I mean you don't expect this kind of job in a 5 star property. Buffet breakfast was ok but again, 3 servers asking for my room number when I have already told the... Read more

The biggest benefit of travelling with a huge group is that you realize more about a property than most. Imagine... 2 buildings of the same hotel, separated by backwater and accessible by boat; but not before thorough checking! Some colleagues were in one building while some in the other and that's how we got to know. Not sure how many hotels in Kochi can boast of this! Loved the experience. The property is huge but worth exploring. Would have loved to try out local cuisines so was disappointed ... Read more

Had gone on a business trip, property separated by backwaters...an experience in itself. Rooms on the 4th floor are worth staying, though I had occupied room 224 which was also a comfortable stay. Food on both the days, was finger licking delicious especially the local fish curry n desserts. The entire team have experienced a memorable comfort in those 2 days of scenic Kochi.

I had a night's stay with family in this hotel during August 2016. Le Meridien is my preferred hotel in Cochin and this was my fifth stay here during the past 4 years. I like this hotel in view of the following positives: 1. Idyllic location- property spread over several acres of greenery and overlooking the backwaters. 2. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet easily accessible- being on the Cochin- Alleppey highway, about 6-8 km from the city centre 3. Good food, several menu choices... Read more

This hotel is by the side of the backwater giving an awesome view in the morning. It has good gardens and walk ways, if you are interested to take a walk. The breakfast was typical of any five star hotel and nothing to boast of. The only reason why I gave a star less was for the reason that I coughed up Rs.1100/- for an extra adult in the room and they took almost 90 min to deliver the extra bed. you would not believe that I had stay awake till night 11.45pm waiting for the extra bad and i had... Stayed in this hotel with family. Great place for lazy people who like to stay in hotel, infact you dont need to go out as hotel itself offers lot of engagement activities inside. Its quite boring to stay in one tall multistory building but Le Meridian is very different. Courteous staff and decent food & beverages adds cherry on the top.

Perched on the lagoon. With a lovely pool in the front gardens, the hotel is the perfect blend of conference, business and leisure. A hard combination. But this hotel does it so well. The restaurant options are limited but the food is super. The buffet is truly a spread. The hotel gets all the basics right. Good experience.

Le Meridien is slightly older than some of the other properties you can find around the city. Still it was the favorite of our trip. The quality of the staff and the total experience just made this a great place to stay with the family. Rooms and grounds were quite nice. About due for a renovation I would guess. The food was the real highlight. One of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced. Staff were very kind to the children and we had some very enjoyable meals.

Probably I went with little more expectations which I am not sure fully met. They gave a good hotel room stay but can be better for the value of money we spent there. I liked the gardens at the backyard and portico area where kids loved to run around. Kids used to get troubled sleep in other hotel rooms because of the air conditioner but here they had an awesome sleep. Breakfast had many variety foods and I liked all of them.

Having stayed at a few 5* hotels, including the Oberoi in Agra and the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai, Le Meridien Kochi could at best be described as 3.5 star. I think this probably was once a 5* hotel, however the grounds have not been kept well, the pool area is tired looking, the landscaping poor, and the bathrooms whilst cleaned daily are old and need of refurbishment. ROOM I stayed in a room described as a Junior Suite which was a duplex room on the 4th floor. The stairs to the bedroom ... Read more

Here for a week at a conference - the rooms and bed were great as was the yoga that was offered every morning of the conference. The highlight was the buffet restaurant - Latest Recipes - as I was there for a week and there was always something new to try - but with great Indian dishes at every meal. I was traveling with my wife and son who both had different dietary restrictions and Chef Ranjana made sure they were taken care of at every meal. Very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks

This is a very nice hotel and the Spa is beautiful. What was a really surprise was the magical yoga classes at the hotel. The yoga instructor, Pratheesh, do a traditional Hatha yoga class with grace and integrity. What also makes it so nice is that he is chanting the whole class. It really was a healing atmosphere in a nice studio. I would go back just to practice with Pratheesh. Anita Hegge, Norway
