BTW while writing this review let me inform you that I am still in the same resort. It's 11:30pm and me with my family am sitting next to the poolside waiting for the housekeeping to clean our room which they didn't after placing a request for it over the room phone and physically too with one of the housekeeping staff on our way out at around 7pm. Let me narrate the entire story. Checked in yesterday and after being escorted to our room the bell boy finds out that the door lock won't open. S... Read more

We had a great family vacation at Goa ( May 16 - 21st - 2016). We stayed at Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort, Goa. It was a great place to stay and would highly recommend this to families planning their visit to Goa. We took a summer vacation deal, which covered hotel pickup / drop facilities, happy hours - complimentary bar besides pool from 6:00 - 8:00pm, breakfast and one time lunch or dinner. The staff is excellent, always smiling and extremely co-operative. We were received warmly by Mr Sha... Read more

I was on business visit to Belgaum and stayed at this property as transit in Goa. The property is very congested and the front yard will not even fit our car. The service and food was good. Rooms are Ok. It is walkable to the beach from here through a village behind it.

Pick up from and drop at the Goa airport was arranged by the hotel. The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. Decent spread for breakfast. Our package also included one meal. As my 3 year old and I are used to eating simple, non spicy food, we enjoyed the simple food. My husband would've enjoyed if the food was more authentic in taste and more Goan dishes were included in the menu. We enjoyed most in the swimming pool. The hotel is well maintained, clean and in a very convenient location with s... Read more

The property is surprisingly classy and even much better than Taj properties in the neighbourhood. What really lets the place down is the service! At the end of the day, it is the people that make or break the reputation of the place. We were greeted (ha!) at the reception by grumpy gents who would be too glad to see our backs. The checkin was professional with no personalization of even a smile! The spaces are amazing, pool, library, play areas, kids areas..much better than other hotels in No... Read more

Not really that great, small and looking like 2 stars from the outside..reception area was hot and trying to book anything on the phone is impossible, no facial tissue or overall not a 5 stars hotel to me, stayed at load of luxury nice hotel and this is not one of them, people were swimming in the pool with cloth on though that's to be expected for india but management definitely could do something about this..and spa was really poor quality no team or water when I asked for one I had to pay for... We spent 3 days at the resort. Though it is not right at the beach, the beach is at a walk-able distance so that is not an issue. Conveniently located in terms of a vibrant market and a lot of eating joints and street shopping close by. Staff was friendly and generally quite prompt. The highlight was that a lot of people working in the resort are people with special abilities, but there is not impact on the service. Hats off to all the staff and also to the Lemon Tree management for that. Room s... Read more

Stayed here with my family in June. During check-in, we got upgraded to the heritage rooms! :) Good start to our holiday! The rooms were at the back of the hotel and were nice & spacious. Pool side is pretty good. Food was alright, nothing great actually. Nice location, right on the main road with lots of restaurants/pubs around. Candolim beach is about a 5-7 min walk. Looks like I am describing any other hotel in North Goa right? Yes, pretty routine stuff, nothing to complain about as such. bu... Read more

I visited the hotel in July 2016 with friends , the place is average not like the other lemon tree hotels in India , this lemon tree is a small property , and rooms are not well maintained , we could see dampness on the ceilings and there were sand on the bed , lemon tree needs to do little bit maintenance on this property

A pretty satisfactory place to stay, if you're looking at staying in Candolim. We took about 5 rooms here recently, all on the first floor. The rooms were clean, uncluttered, well spaced and each had a balcony as well. I personally enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast buffet was great compared to so many other hotels even in Bangalore. The room service was fairly fast and the food too was yum! One of the rooms unfortunately had a conked AC, and they repaired it thankfully while we were out. The p... Read more

We were a bunch of friends meeting up for a reunion and stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. We did not like the room they gave us - but other than that there is very little to complain about our stay - food was good, pool and pool side bar is great, staff are friendly and them employing a few differently abled staff is awesome. The rate compared to some of the higher end resorts seems cheap, but the stay experience is anything but cheap - it's not luxury but everything works for the most part.... Read more

I visited this hotel in July , when its raining in Goa. Didnt have a great start to the hotel. Reception at the hotel was very average. People on the front desk clueless. Reception was smelling. Once we reached our , room service told us some of the food items were not available. Went to the bar, basic things like wafers and peanuts was not served. Drink made was bad.
