We stayed here in March as part of a tour around north India. First impressions of the hotel are excellent with an impressive foyer and well manicured grounds. Security screening at the doors as is standard at most city hotels in India. We had a delux room on a high floor which offered a good view with no noise. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room together with a basic selection of sachets. The bedding was fairly good quality and the beds comfy. The toiletry selection was average. The cleanl... Read more

This hotel was chosen by our tour company, but we added nights here to spend more time exploring Delhi. We had a lot of trouble with customer service. Upon arrival to our room, there was blood on a pillowcase. I had to call three times to get a new pillow and case- disgusting! Any request took multiple attempts to get an answer. The Wi-fi initially did not work (and was a pay service after an hour), and we had to wait for tech support to show up to the room. The room was large and had a fair vie... Read more

Following my wedding at the same hotel, I came back to stay at Eros Hotel after my honeymoon to have some quiet time for a week. We must mention the names of Akshay, Harish and Vivek in the dining department who always went that extra mile to serve us. A nice hotel for business visitors. The decor is a little fussy for my taste, but the rooms are large with large bathrooms. Great service and staff is very quick to offer help for first-time visitors to Delhi. The main hotel restaurant is good with large buffets for breakfast and dinner. I especially enjoyed dinner at Singh Sahib, an excellent Punjabi restaurant on the premises with live music on the night I went. There's a gigantic swimming pool and a decent gym as well.

Spent there a couple of times for business purposes. The rooms where ok,not superclean but wel isolated. The most annoying thing was the service. We had dinner one night and the service was veeery slow (when ordering a beer, I got the feeling they had to brew it). As well the waiters (similar in the reception) seems to have learnt not to smile Likewise for breakfast, there were many waiters around but not so sure what they did, because my coffee took literally forever. If this is a 5 star hotel ... Read more

I have been coming to Delhi on business for the past ten years and I find myself returning over and over again to the Eros Hotel (I've been coming since it was the Intercontinental). Though the branding sometimes changes, Intercontinental to Hilton, now Eros, the staff remains constant. I just checked out from what felt like a visit home. A Very welcoming experience when you are halfway around the world on a quick business trip. My friend, and yes I consider him my friend, Shiv Prasad, one o... Read more

Pros: -Location- in the middle of Nehru place, near to Kailash -Cheap by luxury hotel standards -Great swimming pool -Nice park to walk on -Choice of restaurants -Good old world feel Cons: -Service is below average -Sometimes this feels more like a 4 star hotel, and not a 5 star one -Rooms are very small -Furniture and fixtures are old and worn out, rooms need refurbishment I wouldn;t mind staying there but I'd pay by 4 star standards

please please take care of your luggage just like kangaroo taking care of its child in the pouch, they love to lose your luggage in other traveler's room even after repeatedly telling them -this is my luggage!! they were so keen to deliver it, that they finally ended up by delivering it in different room . So beware !

Very poor performance on an essential service for a five star hotel. The hot water system shutdown was planned and a date and time and duration notice was given by the Front Office Manager. No compensation was offerred. Gate 1Travel should review their use of this hotel since it is not clear if a essential maintenance service including any safety related one is also being neglected by the management

Booked last minute via, arrived at reception to be told in a very off-hand way that they didn't have my name and there were no rooms available. so off to a good start. Eventually found my details after much prompting by me. Rooms are looking a bit tired for a 5* hotel and the shower was poor. Wifi was abysmal had to keep ringing reception to have it reset, gave up in the end. Food good, bar good, restaurant good. Travel desk (don't bother) had to reschedule my flight to UK was expect... We stayed here a couple of nights on our tour. The hotel is a lovely comfortable place to stay and our room was beautifully decorated. The selection of food in the restaurant was excellent especially at breakfast. The fact that we found cutlery missing on the tables and the staff were not keeping on top of this let it down. We found the wine in the bar was very expensive especially when all the tax was added to bill. The staff on reception were very helpful especially when changing money. The hote... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights, one night was self booked and the other 2 nights were after i had joined the tour I was on (with Gate1Travel). Check in was easy and efficient at 1.30 in the morning. My bags were attended to by staff. You do have to go through security screening on entrance, but I think thats pretty normal from what I have seen so far. My room was nice and clean (although some others on the tour said that their room had a smell). The room was attended to daily, although they only ... Read more

This hotel can surprise you with the relaxed ambience and great poolside lawn amidst the busy part of New Delhi. The lifts are nice and give antique feeling. Staff is helpful. I had a short stay and had only 2 issues - one, now when complementary wifi is an industry norm- they offer only 1 hour wifi. Two, there was a peculiar smell- probably floor cleaner that i did not like. Connectivity to all of South Delhi was great.

The exterior tells the story: tired, grimy and in dire need of a paint overall. The interior is a vast improvement but definitely needs an overall across the board. It was probably the height of hotel fashion 40 years ago, but those days are gone. Lobby is impressive and the restaurants are decent, however, when a hotel continues to charge for internet use (just one hour per day is complimentary)it's time to get with the 21st century Eros Hotel Chain! Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms ar... Read more

Stayed for two days.. Helping staff at the front desk. Buffet breakfast was good, covered both southindian and North Indian food. Room service was prompt, tried jehenga prawns Tandoori, amristari machi, chicken kebab.. Was very good. Steam sauna jacuzzi in the spa section was good and relaxing.. Totally worth for the money..

The air quality was the biggest issue. To be fair, India was having some of its worst air pollution on record. Only your room had acceptable air quality. My second biggest complaint is that the hotel did not provide complimentary Wi-Fi. What larger hotel charges for this service. They do give a complimentary hour, but with difficulty in hooking up, the time had elapsed before I could do anything meaningful.

The Lotus Temple looked easily close enough to walk to, but our tour manager insisted that we all travel together on the bus. Not sure what that was supposed to mean about the neighborhood, but we did walk a few blocks to get cash from an ATM (but not allowed out on our own). Delhi was every bit as smoky as it looks in these photos. The hotel and food were certainly nice enough.

We were at Eros, Delhi for 2 days for our Institute event and had a memorable stay. The Check-in was a bit time taking but the rooms were very comfortable. The lobby had a strange odor but the floors had good aroma. Maybe the flavor of room freshner in lobby requires a change. The fitness centre was outstanding with all equipment and refreshing drinks at reception of the fitness centre...Not seen in many hotels! The pool is very nice with clean water. BUT the staff were very helpful and good in getting the ramp so i could get into all the places in the hotel, very good. THE room was dated though but clean bathroom was ok although dos need updating.
