Lovely, small hotel in a great location. We were met on check in by very friendly staff and complimentary cups of hot chocolate. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor at the back and were concerned about the noise from the club as noted in other reviews. We needn't have worried, we heard nothing from the club and slept soundly in very comfortable beds. The staff are excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and speak fluent English which was very helpful as my Icelandic is non existent. We stayed 4 nights, ... Read more

The hotel is described as a boutique hotel, which it lives up to. We stayed here for 4 nights. Though the hotel could do with a lick of paint in a couple of areas (very minimal though), it's location is fantastic. We had a room at the back, not the best view, but it's dark until about 11am anyway! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The restaurant at the hotel is very pleasant and range of food good - breakfast especially, from sausages and... Read more

We stayed at this hotel in September when we visited for four days. Arrival Before arriving I had sent an email mentioning I'd be arriving early (6:00am) and asking for early check in. When I arrived there were no rooms available so we were advised to hang out and go grab a bite to eat then come back. Since breakfast was included in the rate we assumed we could eat while we waited but that wasn't the case. We walked around the city and waited for something to open so we could grab a bite then h... We would stay here again. Located just off the main shopping street, with easy access to all there is to see in Reykjavik. It is a small boutique hotel and never felt busy even though it was full the whole time we were there, which was for 7 days. Excellent staff. Special mention to Ryan on the front desk who helped us with trips and was very helpful. Room was excellent. Modern design. Nice en suite. Tea/coffee in room. Free wifi in room. Breakfast was buffet, with a good choice to get you... Read more

We stayed 4 nights. It's a lovely boutique hotel with a buffet breakfast to die for! The rooms are fairly small by US standards. The beds are super comfy. One thing to remember...bring earplugs! On Friday and Saturday nights the city is jamming! It's very loud. The best part of the hotel was Andrea and Estelle at the front desk. They couldn't have been more helpful. I'd definitely stay here again, it's close to all the action.

We had read great reviews of this hotel and were looking forward to our stay here, but it was a let down for us and our least favorite stay of our trip. Very dark halls and decor...I am sure that is what they were going for, but it honestly felt dirty because of how dark it was. Very loud because it is just off the main street - be sure to have a white noise app to use if you plan to sleep.

The quality of this hotel is worth more than 4 stars. The style is modern boutique, the atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing, especially Andrea on reception. There is so much choice for breakfast, it's well presented and really tasty. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, even the standard ones (which the children had!) Will be coming back again.

We had stayed at this hotel for 1 week (Sat to Sat). Location: It was right off the main street from shopping, bars, and restaurants. Sights were easily walkable to such as the Church and Museums. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Hotel: The breakfast buffet was fantastic and was great to save a bit of money from eating out in the mornings as that can get very expensive. The breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, cereal, pastries, waffle station, egg, bacon, sausage, selection of breads... Read more
