It´s not super fancy, it´s just good enought to enjoy you stay. the location and staff are the best with this hotel!

This hotel has all you need and more. Excellent service, value and location. It's located near the station, metro, bus and tram, as well as near major streets, and the historical centre, but it is itself located on a small, quiet street, so you won't be disturbed by traffic. Parking was a short distance from the hotel. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful about events happening in the city. Buffet breakfast was great. Particularly liked the design and decor of the entrance to the hotel - warm, c... Read more

We stayed here for a number of days on a quick visit to Budapest. Perfect location just off the busy traffic streets near to the Market and within 5 minutes walk to the pedestrian shopping street - Vaci u.. Some lovely cafes nearby on Kecskemeti u. The breakfast was fine and fruit fresh. Computer and printer were available in the pleasant lounge area. Room made available to hold luggage after check-out. Some rooms were very small but well appointed and clean.

The location is the strong point of this hotel, just a 5 minutes walking from the central market or from Váci street (where you will find restaurants and various shops). There's no parking available (the street in front of the entrance is very narrow) but if you came with your personal car you can leave it in "Mercure Korona Hotel" parking, which is 200 meters away, at a price of about 20 EUR/day. Nice and quiet hotel, with a frendly staff.

Stayed in Budapest for 6 days and this hotel was a good find. There are restuarants nearby and whilst not right in the heart it was a 10 minute walk to the main shopping of Vaci Utca and the river Danube. Transport in Budapest is amazing. You can get anywhere very quickly. Hotel was lovely. Everything you needed in the rooms and a nice lounge area where you can get free tea and coffee until 6pm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the small side but very comfortable the bathroom was always clean and had a really powerful shower. Breakfast was good with plenty of choise.. The hotel didn't have a Bar but there were plenty within walking distance. The lounge with complimentary coffee and tea was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, one of our party ... We stayed from 27th April to 1st May, we had got a package with Wizz Air, so we choosed the hotel after reading the opinions of customers in your website. We arrived at 3 a.m. The room in 4th floor was really bad, a queen bed situated in a corner of the room so I had to go over my husband to leave the bed. We find some old papers in the floor near the garbage box, two times. Unfortunately we had near our room guests first from India, and after from China, caling too early and very loud to their... Stayed at this lovely hotel last week for our girls' break to Budapest. There were 3 of us sharing a room on the second floor, which was clean and comfortable but on the small side. The hotel is about a half hour taxi ride from the airport, and we were greeted by a very friendly, efficient and helpful receptionist. The location is great for accessing all the sights- we didn't use any public transport, and found it very easy to get around on foot. We were given a map, leaflets and helpful advice ... Read more

Good Things: The Hotel is centrally situated and is spotless. Breakfast is of similar standard for a modern hotel. Choice is sufficient and caters for everyone's tastes. Staff are attentive Bad Things: The only thing that put me off was that I arranged for a taxi with reception to take us to airport. Taxi arrived but the driver did not activate the meter which he is supposed to do. On arrival at the airport I questioned the fee as it was 20% more than we had paid to come from hotel using the sam... Read more

Booked this hotel after much research, primarily based on TripAdvisor reviews. This is the first time we've booked somewhere we didn't like based on TripAdvisor. We didn't have a very enjoyable stay for two main reasons - firstly, the room and hotel in general were uncomfortably warm and nothing we did seemed to help the issue. Secondly, the pillows were lumpy. This may seem petty, but they were so lumpy that I couldn't sleep using them. I ended up using the duvet on top of the pillow to mak... Read more

Closest stop for the Hop on hop off bus is only 15 minutes away. Descent 3-star hotel with fair continental breakfast.

It was a very pleasant stay and all were most welcoming. One minor thing the temperature here is presently at about 35c they do not have au on so room 44 was warm but not wholly uncomfortable. My wife and I booked this Hotel through Wizzair when we had a short break in Budapest. The Hotel is in a quiet area, but is within easy reach of places of interest and eating establishments. The bedroom although modestly small, was adequate for our three night stay. This is a wonderful hotel! Great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast was also more than what we expected. Similar to a previous reviewer of this hotel, after requesting a taxi to the airport, a 'luxury' car arrived and the driver quoted a fixed price(a little higher) and did not turn on his meter. It was fine with us since the driver was pleasant, but if you want an official taxi company, I suggest specifying that with the hotel.

The hotel had a 'galleria' which is a separate coffee room which was nice to escape to outside of the room. I thought this hotel was overrated for the price I paid and given the nature of the reviews. It was not bad. The room was clean and quiet. The location was good. However, the room was very small. The Wifi often did not work in the room. I was told to use it in the hallway but I wanted to use it just before I went to sleep and when I woke up. It is not the best idea to write a review immediately after a bad experience. Therefore, a few days later, although an unpleasant experience for me, I will try to describe it as objectively as possible.
