This is a modern hotel with large rooms, comfy beds, a great bathroom and friendly, efficient service. Excellent soundproofing - we never heard other guests talking, or room doors slamming, etc. Great location - can walk easily ro most major attractions, including the Parliament, the Danube, Jewish Qtr, and the bridges. Lots of restaurants and cafes very close by.

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Budapest for 4 nights and from the first minute to the last the staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is very stylish and immaculately presented and we were greeted with welcome drinks on arrival whilst check in was processed. We were informed that we had been given a complimentary room upgrade and the room turned out to be stunning. It was the largest city room I have stayed in with a huge, and more importantly co... The Iberostar Grand Hotel Budapest is a very well located hotel in the heart of Pest. The hotel itself is very modern with an extremely pleasant and helpful hotel staff. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel which serves up a very fine buffet breakfast. It is best to opt to include the breakfast when you book the room as it saves you about 12 euros per day for 2 people to do it that way. There are many many fine restaurants virtually surrounding the hotel. One word of warning is that t... Read more

The location of the hotel is excellent, we walk to every tourismt place. Ther service is great and the view from the superiors room is really romantic. The rooms are really modern and big, looks new with technology in the rooms. Excellent bathrooms with sounds in all the room. The price quality is worth it.

The service and location was outstanding. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We had a late checkin because of a train delay. No problem with late checkin but I wish I had made prior arrangements for car pick up. I felt like the taxi overcharged given time of night but live and learn. Hotel made arrangements for car transfer back to train station

We went on a very rare short break as a couple (without our son) and were greeted with a bottle of champagne. Beautiful foyer, excellent service at reception, very cool room. HUGE bathroom! Excellent location as a base of getting around Budapest and near to lots of fab cafes and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful experience. I loved this hotel. Reception was fantastic and so helpful. Our Junior Suite was large and so comfortable. The bed was perfect. The bath tube was elegant. The rain shower was awesome. I enjoyed listening to live music while watching soccer on the big screen. This was a perfect stay and I look forward to staying again and I will tell other to stay as well.

Instantly "wowed" when you walk through the doors....Offered a glass of bubbly on arrival and the gentleman checking us in noticed it was my partners birthday and upgraded our room to a double deluxe! On booking I requested a bottle of champagne in the room for my partner and this was waiting on ice with a lovely note. The room was by far the best room we've ever stayed in!! On our second day we came back to the room to find a selection of small cakes waiting and on the third day a small bottle ... Read more

Didn't stay in the hotel but we used the restaurant next door quite a lot (Borkakas) which was great food and a super place to watch the footie from. Not cheap but it's a central location with plenty of bars near by. Staff were really friendly and food was excellent. Had three meals here and they were all good. Fairly haute cuisine without being over the top. Nice Hungarian wine too.
