Beds a bit uncomfortable but spa was a welcome treat. Good to be able to get breakfast in the bar if you missed it in the main room. Maid knocked on our door at 8.45am on Sunday!! It was our last day and that was really rude of the hotel.

Very nice, food excellent. A really pleasant stay, staff were very helpful throughout the stay. I was there for a conference, it was very good from a hotel perspective. The road noise was a little high sometimes, but not bad.

Novotel Centrum was our base on a work trip in May 2016. The location is perfect, you walk easily to the very center (10 min) or to the nearby easy-going jewish ghetto full of night life. Public traffic connections pretty good, too. The hotel itself has poor service culture. Rooms were ok (probably here it matters, how high standard you paid for). Clean but nothing interesting. Breakfast is served in amazing old-times restaurant, and it was the best part of the experience.

Unfortunately we arrived late at night and had to leave the morning after how ever check in was super quick as we had checked in online the day before. We ordered room service and the food was delivered promptly! Had a nice authentical goulash, perfect after the long drive from Germany. Bed was very comfortable and by far it was the biggest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room... Must of been 60"+ Next day breakfast was nice and complete! Definetly will want to come back to a longer stay.

4 rating because of just one inconvenience we faced during our stay. The sink in the bathroom was leaking when we returned back at 11pm and when I went to the front desk, they already knew this problem since the housekeeping had informed them the same morning. Why did they not get it fixed immediately? However, they did not make me do down again. It was fixed the next day. Apart from that, we had a great stay. Despite being close to the busy street, the noise was almost non existent. The room ... Read more

We stayed at the Novotel Budapest this summer and were happy with the hospitality of the team. The room service was prompt and very cooperative. Spacious guest rooms and a satisfying spread at the breakfast buffet made our stay memorable.

A very nice hotel, has retained a lot of the old look and incorporated it very well with modern facilities. Room comfortable and well equipped - free wi-fi as well. We comfortably walked from the riverside back to the hotel, probably a 20 minute walk. Lots of shops handy.

The location is great especially when you use Keleti railway station. All in all hotel is very good. only one thing upset me- check-out took 20 min due to large queue of tourists and I had to run to the train. Also having loyalty card for priority check-out plays no role- simply 2 receptionists run to manage the queue. Otherwise- nice place, great for being in the city.

The hotel was great from the moment we got there. Is in a great location, really recommend going to one of the natural spas and the hop on hop off bus tour. Both of which can be bought at reception. Rooms were clean and the hotel has a mixture of modern and classic decor which really works. Also offered free wifi.

The hotel was a great location only a 10 minute walk from central pest. Bus and metro stops pretty much next door. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The nearby streets were a little bit dodgy at night. Rooms very clean and were cleaned everyday unless the 'do not disturb' sign was on the door. Wifi, air con and safe all included. Would stay again đ???

Everything was to our satisfaction. Beautifully decorated hotel, breakfast was excellent, all staff polite and helpful. Bath and shower in room. Within walking distance to centre but for those who don't wish to walk the trams were minutes away from hotel as was the metro station. Plent of restaurants, bars and shops in and around the centre. Also not far from River Danube.

I had the misfortune to lose my passport, together with a quantity of cash, in Budapest and the Hotel Reception staff were very helpful. They tried to contact the British Embassy for me, and managed to trace my passport and contents to a Restaurant where it had been found. The Hotel was quiet, and the breakfasts provided were excellent as they catered for all tastes. I would certainly stay there again.

What a wonderful Dining Room: complete Hungarian Art Nouveau). The buffet (breakfast and we also used lunch) was fine: good choice of Hungarian dishes and also suitable for people with food-allergies. A wide variety of choice. I slept on the street-side, which is busy. But: no noise, no disturbance, I slept really well! Good functioning air-conditioning and a fine bathroom. Great TV-screen. Working WIFI! The staff is efficient and friendly.

A very nice experience stopping at this hotel , comfortable rooms - separate bathroom and toilet in the room -free safe -wifi acceptable and free -password changes daily -A/C good - tea / coffee in room - strange pillows , quite large but half is soft other half hard to suit all needs . Breakfast good but no bacon . 20 mins walk to city centre - hop-on / hop-off service 2 mins walk away as is the metro , supermarket and currency exchange .

A very nice hotel near Keleti Station, which was very important for me, as I had an early train to catch. The room was very spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed. It had a huge flat screen TV! Possibly the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel room. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

The hotel located not very far from city center and right near the metro station. For me it seems that it is just a simple hotel without anything specific except restaurant where the breakfast is served - it looks like imperial restaurant of the beginning of last century. The dishes were common for breakfasts. The sleeping quality is pretty normal. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel has a lack of maintenance, poor quality of the beds, linens and pillows, bathrooms need to be updated, the rooms are good sized, we had a problem with the lights, they suddenly went out and we had to exchange room at 2 am, wasn´t the best experience... On the other hand the location is good if you need to be downtown, the breakfast buffet has a lot of options and the restaurant is nice. I don´t think is a 4 stars as they charge.... 3 tops!

We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant where the food was very good. Couldn't fault the hotel or room staff were friendly and helpful. We had a corner room on the 5th floor that was bright and spacious. If you were a light sleeper the traffic noise and emergency vehicle sirens might disrupt your sleep. The shower had plenty pressure and was height adjustable. For a long weekend break where most are out in the city all day and require a comfortable bed and room to return to with a reasonable breakfast this hotel is ideal.
