the hotel is well located close to a shopping mall with many shops and a supermarket, as well as very close to the metro station, which means you can commute everywhere easily. rooms are nice and big, maybe a bit outdated bathroom, but the price was very attractive, staff is nice and helpful

Ibis Budapest Aero hotel is located very close to the airport, so it is a perfect choice for guests travelling with plane. The hotel has been recently renovated, has a very nice decoration and a very friendly stuff. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and you can have a delicious burger and some other snacks/drinks at the bar. We have stayed here end of April 2016 and would recommend it to everyone!

I stayed here for a night before an early morning flight out. It's a typical Ibis - very clean and modern. It's located a few km from the Airport - about $15 cab ride away. And directly on the M3 line ~ 15 mins from Deák Ferenc square in central Budapest.

We were given a "family" room at no additional charge upon check-in, as there was a full house that first night of our stay and they didn't have any "regular" rooms to offer us. That was fantastic! The room was huge, and even had a door separating one half of the room from the other, to give each person more privacy. We had a view of some trees - which wasn't bad, because it isolated us from the Hungarian society, which I personally very much enjoyed. An inside joke I suppose, but you have to ha... Read more

Very good connection to Budapest Airport - 15 mins for no more than 15 euro's. Good rooms/beds/Wifi with very good breakfast service. Cheap for such a convenient hotel for both the airport and Budapest City. On our stay in Mid May 2016 we needed urgent help in getting new visa's for the USA as our granddaughter had become very ill. Peter got through the very complicated on line process ( English to Hungarian). Very appreciated. Definitely stay again and recommend to others.

When we arrived we were first given a room that has already been occupied. Apologies for the guy we woke up from his afternoon nap! Location is great but don't expect to get much sleep. We were very inlucky with a big group of tourists staying on the same floor as us getting up at 6.30 every morning hammering on each other's door and shouting to be let in. At 7am the cleaners turned up banging and gossiping very loudly on the corridor. They did not do much else than gossip and just about made th... Read more

Was booked here from a tour operator. First impression was not great. The hotel sits across the street from a busy bus station, and on the expressway, so very noisy. Constant sirens, and I don't know Budapest, but this doesn't seem like good part of town. Thr room itself is VERY small, and stark, but efficient. After flying from the west coast of US I couldn't wait for shower. Sadly, shower was full of hair, called front desk and they said someone would come right away...they weren't kidding ga... Read more

This hotel has recently been renovated as you can smell the new carpet. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. We were across the street from public transportation. The wifi was not great in the rooms but either well in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel when exploring Budapest.

This is a very nice ibis hotel not far from the city center. If you want to visit the inner city than you have to take the underground in front of the hotel. My room was very clean and nice refurbished. I was very much satisfied with the breakfast service. All employees of the hotel were nice and friendly.

I have visited the hotel in June. I had a business meeting in the town and the location of the hotel was very convenient to book a room. My room was clean and big enough for a one night stay. Breakfast is excellent. The staff of the hotel is nice and friendly. A big extra is the free parking in front of the hotel.

We decided to stay closer to the airport, since on the last day we had an early flight. Smooth check in, basic, but recently renovated room with tub and balcony. Breakfast ok, rooms are clean, staff helpful and speaks good English. The benefit: 15 minute from city center, subway stop just across, but we paid much less, than for another 3* in the city center.

I stayed at this hotel for one night in between flights. The pros were the price, that the hotel is right across from the metro station, had been recently renovated so was very nice inside, had an amazing and accommodating staff, free wifi, and a great breakfast spread. There is also a very nice private garden out back. Really the only negative was the overall location. The area seemed slightly sketchy, and since the metro doesn't run directly to the airport, you have to take the metro for on... Read more

Spent 4 nights here on a business trip. The location is not very good for tourists, for us it was OK. Apart from that, the hotel was OK-ish, even though sound isolation wasn't the best, and the Wifi didn't work that well. OK value for money, but better can be had in Budapest.

About as good as IBIS get; you don't expect too much for £37 but you get a generous double bed TV and clean ensuite. Helpful efficient and pleasant (rare in Hungary) check in team. No reason to stay here unless you need good access to the airport (£9 by UBER) (Don't accept the hotels taxi offer at £16) and just across the rd from a metro station. Stay in the town centre IBIS if you are visiting the city itself

I slept here with my wife on the way from the airport. The lobby and the room is very modern, well-furnitured. I think our room was renovated not so long ago, I really liked the look of the carpet. We could park our car in front of the entrance, we could see it from our room, which was a big advantage for me. The receptionist spoke very well english and I could also watch the football match in the lobby. The price-value ratio is acceptable so I can recommend this hotel.

Just the right location, with good public transport connections to both city (metroline no 3) and BUD airport (metro 3 until K?KI end-station then direct busline 200). For late arrival or early flights (very early and very late hours when there is no metro service), the same bus goes direct to and from until Hatàr ut hub (site of Ibis Aero Hotel). A clean simple but comfortable place, really good value.
