The hotel is lovely and modern, the reception staff were so friendly and accommodating. On arrival the lovely girl on reception said our room wasn't quite ready so would we mind waiting for 15 minutes, 10 mins later she came over and told us we have had a complimentary upgrade! The room was lovely and clean, lovely ceiling windows and two showers in the bathroom. The staff are a massive credit to the hotel, we were having troubles making a dinner reservation online so the receptionist helped wi... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. Really lovely hotel modern and very clean. Hotel staff really friendly. We used the spa a couple of times which was nice, had a jacuzzi a sauna and steam room. They are open between 17:00 - 22:00. The hotel is in good location 5 mins walk from Astoria metro station. Hotel is situated down a side road so very quiet. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Hotel seem to be really accommodating, we wanted a twin room with cot, which we've got. Breakfast is good. If you're from England and you need your English tea, just bring some for the mornings. They do good coffee though! Nice tidy, modern hotel.

Just arrived home from our stay here. When we first arrived we noticed a sign saying the gym and spa facilities were closed for the first two days of our stay. This was then extended to the whole of our stay. Terribly disappointed as that was one of the main reasons we booked here. On check out we were asked to pay city tax. Cheeky really, this should have been wavered as a courtesy I explained as the spa was closed. I was then told that had we asked we could have received compensation earlier. ... Read more

The hotel is situated about a two minute walk from a main street. Astoria underground station is five minutes away and there are a couple of supermarkets, coffee shops such as Starbucks and a Burger King nearby. Once you get to know the area it is only a ten minute walk to where all the shops are. The hotel itself is very clean, very warm and most importantly very quiet. There is no restaurant in the hotel and there is a small bar on the ground floor. Breakfast is served in the basement area whi... Read more

We stayed in the Museum Hotel and found it a pleasure to stay there. We had upgraded our rooms and we're pleased with the quality of the rooms and the helpfulness of the staff. There is free coffee in the hotel lounge for most of the day, but unfortunately tea isn't provided. The room supplies only provide enough tea and coffee for one cup each per day and tea choice is limited to Earl Grey or fruit teas. Please get some English Breakfast tea - I really missed it both at breakfast and in my room... Read more

The hotel is lovely and very unique in terms of its interior. Reception staff were great and very friendly and helpful. They provide lots of information and recommendations on where to go in terms of food etc. The room was nice, a little bit noisy in the morning from people in the corridor. There aren't any ironing facilities in the rooms but we did have to pay to get our things ironed at the reception, they charged 3 euros. Breakfast was average, not much selection, food was slightly on the c... Read more

It's a decent place, but it definitely looks better on photos than live. Our room had just one small window, which together with dark paint made it rather gloomy. The room was well maintained, but the batroom and welness area calls for an in-depth cleaning and repairs. Also, lack of a proper freshly brewed coffee for breakfast - what's offered is a choice of disgusting instant drinks - was an unpleasant surprise in the morning. The next time I'm in Budapest I'll certainly look for a different pl... Read more

Stayed here while visiting for the Christmas markets. Had to move rooms within a few minutes as the heating wouldn't turn on, this was done quickly. Our twin room was perfect for what we wanted as we were out all day so literally only used the hotel to shower and sleep in. If I were staying longer, I think I would have stayed in a hotel nearer to the city. I would have loved if the hotel had a bigger bar as the hotel bar was more like a kitchenette with some lounge chairs. After a long day, we w... Read more

The gym facilities are a plus as many of the hotels in Europe don't provide them at all. The room was relatively clean. However, the shower was full of black, long hair, which is the opposite to that of my partner's and I. The bed also had the same hair throughout which leads one to believe that the hotel is obviously not cleaned properly, or at all. There is wifi in the hotel but there may as well be none at all as it is the worst wifi I have ever used. You cannot load any webpages or sites. Th... Read more
