Importantly, the room was clean and spacious (superior room). Unfortunately the hotel was let down by housekeeping that did half a job on the 1st night and failed to replace bedding, towels and top up tea and coffee. When we asked for replacement coffee the management refused to believe it had not been replaced and failed to provide us with more. Unacceptable. The breakfast was expensive for the quality. That is; stale bread and pastries and a poor selection. Seriously, "fresh fruit" is not e... Read more

I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout were were quick. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small but we booked a standard room and for the price we paid it is was perfect. It is clean and for a city break where you are out of the room a lot of the time i would definitely recommend this hotel. We also used the leisure facilities twice in the evenings before going out for dinner. It was lovely to relax after walking around all... Read more

The hotel is located in the center of Budapest, 3 min walk from the Astoria metro station. Rooms are a bit small but clean. I give only 3 because even we left the towels on the ground to have them changed by some magic the same towels landed back on the towel rack and this happened at least 2 times in 4 days. Had to call reception to have our towels changed.

Reception staff unwelcoming and unsmiling. The bar is lacking in any redeeming features and resembles a station waiting room. The breakfast is overpriced and poor, you can have an excellent breakfast in one of the lovely cafes nearby, especially Cafe Solenho beside the back of the Great Synagogue. The room was clean and comfortable. Good location but the staff let the hotel down.

Rooms are modern, clean and spacious with brilliant wifi throughout the hotel, including in the rooms. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from various shops including Tesco, Subway and McDonald's. The ruins bar and Jewish quarter are located within walking distance. Only fault is the spa/gym doesn't open until 5pm. Great stay here.

I stayed here with two friends last week. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who provided great service and answered all of our queries. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean with comfortable beds and a spotless bathroom! It also offered free Wifi, a safe for valuables and a mini bar. The hotel is very close to each side of Budapest and walking distance from tourist attractions such as Heroes Square, Museums, The Zoo and Danube River. We had a great stay here for three nig... We arrived on 7th May 1916 stayed to 12th May 1916. We were very impressed when we first entered the reception area. We were greeted by a very friendly lady called Barbara she spoke perfect English. She was so helpful not only welcoming us from Australia but re confirmed all our day trips we had booked, on line in Australia. Our room was on the first floor large, bed very comfortable, room light and airy. The bathroom was large with a great shower. The breakfast was really great lots of variety ... Read more

This hotel is very convenient in the middle of Pest. Walking distance to the river and all best restaurants. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms as well. Area for improvement is the breakfast which is average - basic orange juice and no expresso available.

Clean (but don't expect towels or sheet change until day 3 so ask) well meaning and helpful staff a good location and easy access to all sites. We had a superior room which was ok, but don't expect to much, no bath as expected, but then you may need a foot massage after all the walking so the spa is a bonus, but only opens after 17:00? Overall a good solid choice.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a Jet2 city break and would return without any hesitation. All staff were polite, efficient, professional and friendly. Our good sized standard room, complete with comfortable bed, Juliet balcony, air conditioning and free safe was on the 5th floor and was very quiet with no adjacent rooms. The bathroom was compact and included a shower and hairdryer. The buffet breakfast was adequate with a small selection of fruit, cereals, hams, cheeses, fruit juices, bread and ho... Read more

The hotel is in an excellent cetral location. Quiet in a back road but just minutes walk from main road buses and metro. Clean and decent size rooms for a 3 or 4 night city break. We visited as a group of 22. Some problems with showers, safes etc between us but remedied immediately once reported. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast adequate. Bar prices cheap. Generally very good stay. Would recommend.

Hubby and I have just returned from a 3 night stay. Nice hotel with everything you need, staff were welcoming on arrival and arranged a taxi back to airport for us which is appreciated. The mini bar in room would have been used but it wasn't on so beer inside was warm.....so went to little Tesco near by for drinks. Agree on comments about house keeping, they made beds but didn't swap towels despite being on floor (to request a change) and split coffee on sheets were left. Coffee glass from bar w... Read more

The Hotel Museum Budapest is a top class hotel close to Budapest city centre. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating, they organised a fixed rate private taxi transfer to and from the airport for us - about a 25 min drive. The hotel itself was very modern. Our room was spacious and clean and one of the best in the hotel, it had a balcony off the bathroom which offered views of the street and surrounding buildings - very impressive! We stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a excellent stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Had an added bonus of a spa area that was great to relax in after a hectic days sightseeing. The room was spacious and comfortable. Had an advantage of having a mini bar fridge so we got some beers locally and kept them in it. Ideal location to go out sightseeing. We would recommend this hotel for a base to visit the beautiful city of Budapest

Very good hotel in a central .... 1 block back from Main Street thus avoiding street noise. The rooms are comfortable .... Comments about "towels" not experienced but out tissue box in bathroom went empty and unchanged. Nice spa facilities in basement but supply of towels was patchy....had to go up to reception to request "refill". Overall good vfm but moderate service....not memorable but I would probably come again.

Hotel is located a walking distance from metro station - Kalvin Ter. We made a prepayment for the room so we were surprised we were asked to deposit additional amount of money (with credit card). Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May. Room was a good size, as was shower room. Decor was tidy and furnishings modern, shower room was well stocked. Breakfast had a reasonable choice and was adequate. Very convenient for the city centre, within walking distance. Though as it was a block away from the main road the location itself was very quiet, got a good night's sleep.
