Great location near the Sportsarena, which was perfect for the purpose of the trip. Very good rooms, with decent WiFi. The food at the lounge restaurant was great and at good prices. The staff at the reception could have been friendlier.

A 4 day trip with my wife to see Budapest and hotel is located just outside the main central area but very easy to reach the main attractions by the local Metro station right next to the hotel. Rooms were reasonably clean but the maid service is very poor. Pulled the cover up on the bed would be the extent of their work. Food in the cafe are is ok but no fancy bars or restaurant in this hotel. The hotel is very warm everywhere and no A/C to cool it down. Noisy when you leave the door open be... Read more

Located on the red line of the underground and one minute walking distance from the station. I guess thats the only positive thing. Old building, reminded me of Soviet times. Clean, but very simple design, helpful stuff. Impossible to sleep ot the pillows, that are really bad, small and of a bad quality. The breakfast is fine, but thats all. Better eat ome other place, expensive and not tasty.

I was working at SIRHA Exhibition in Budapest, so I consider the Hotel Location as excellent: Just few minutes of drive from the Hungexpo venue. Unfortunately due to absolutely terrible quality of pillows I've got heavy pains in my neck and back for several days!!! I'm travelling a lot for business and privately but such awful pillows quality I've never got indeed! This is a shame for a Hotel pretending to be 4-star accomodation!!!

Above all else it's proximity to this great concert venue makes it an ideal choice. Large room, nice staff, bathroom sink was not as clean as it could have been, but otherwise nothing was wrong, would recommend it.

The building looks a bit untidy on the outside but the interior is rather good. Cosy room and nice breakfast. Perfect for those who plan to attend some event at the Papp Lazslo arena. Also good value for money. Cheers!

Excellent service, nice and clean room, tasty breakfast, just near the Arena. So, if you like to join a concert to the Arena, do not hesitate to make a reservation! Fitness hall and swimming pool OK as well. Thank you!

We choose the hotel due to its position, as we went to aconcert in Papp Laszlo Arena. It perfectly served the scope. The only issue was that the bar was closed at the time of our return(11 pm). It is also close to the national football stadium.

Super location close to metro and to the stadium, excellent customer service. Thumbs up for the guy at the reception at night who saved my burrito! Really recommended, will most likely go back there myself next time I am in Budapest.

My visit to the city was last minute and for stressful reasons, but I cannot praise the staff at the hotel highly enough for their helpfulness, understanding and kindness. They could not have done more to help ease a difficult situation. True professionals.

we had a two-night stay in the Danubius Arena and everything was perfect. The room was clean and spacious, we enjoyed free parking and also check-in was quick which we particularly appreciated after a pretty long trip to Budapest. The staff are courteous and always willing to help whatever matter. while my daughter were at the rock concert my wife enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym. The proximity of the sport arena was also important to us and I am sure every time we go to the Arena we will p... Read more

Third time here as dental tourist and have nothing but praise for this place . Staff great , friendly , helpful , food good too, breakfasts - good selection but not hot enough - microwave would be good as cold scrambled eggs are not great - apart from that it's a great place. Located right next to metro as well. Gym and sauna really good and well maintained. Can't fault it !

Stayed here for three nights recently on a coach trip. The rooms were large and well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hotel adjoined a subway station, so getting about was not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. Personally, I did not like the food on offer, neither for dinner or breakfast but then again that is personal taste. The coffee on offer was lovely!

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach tour. The hotel is a good distance out of Budapest but has good transport links. The bedrooms are very small and have too much furniture in them. No storage for our bags and suitcases which made moving around the bedroom quite difficult. Bathroom also very small and chlaustrophobic. On a better note we found the selection of food on offer at both breakfast and dinner to be very good and markedly superior to our last hotel. The hotel also has a small shop in... Read more

At first sight this hotel looks like an old style communist era block of flats set in a scruffy area, but this is deceiving. Once inside all this changes and reveals a modern well appointed hotel. Rooms have air conditioning and the comfort you would expect from a four star hotel. Meals are nothing special, but you can always find something to eat. Travel to the city centre is easy with both the Metro and bus stops nearby and only a 15 minute ride away. There is also large shopping plaza withi... Read more

Visited this hotel recently it has undoubtedly a great location, loved Budapest great town with rich history and architecture. Unfortunately bedding was stained on arrival, was not changed the next day or the day after, also no top up for toiletries for 3 days. After checking the bedding next day, the cleaner just put it away in the cupboard without replacing it, when we complained to the reception - no apology - was not interested. The front desk is manned by three mature gentlemen with no smil... Read more

My girlfriend and I were very confident with our room, but one thing was a bit strange: when we were in the bathroom someone came in our room. That was not what we expected. And the fridge is not working very good, so maybe you could take a look at that.

First impressions as the cab got to the hotel i was scared for my life. The location of the hotel is horrible homeless people on the streets and i would not advice you walk around after dark. It is however 2 mins from a station which is ideal to visit the city center. Once we entered the hotel and checked in we were thinking if we should leave or not. Once upstairs in the room i went to use the bathroom and there was pubic hair from someone previously .. i went to check the bed as per usual and... Read more

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Danubius Arena which incorporated a dental visit. First impressions were okay as we arrived very late evening and reception staff were pleasant and speedy. The bedroom on the 2nd floor was spacious and clean although the bathroom was small and the shower only had a plastic curtain rather than a screen. Only 2 tiny toiletries for the whole visit, although the towels were changed frequently.Upon unpacking, however, we realised there was no drawer spa... Read more

Room for three people was very small. In a bathroom, shower holder was broken, evacuation of water from the sink was difficult. As for me, i think, the cost of room is overpriced. We were good-surprised with breakfasts: rich and tasty. Cost 9EUR seems to be higher than in the similar hotels, but...

Ok - this is not a 4-star hotel! It's fairly basic with a basic restaurant and basic facilities. The rooms are ok. But doubles are often just twin beds pushed together. Air conditioning has to be turned to maximum to keep the room at a reasonable temperature so be prepared to deal with the associated noise. The curtains are paper thin, so if you like a dark room then forget it. Bathrooms are a bit sad and dated with minimal toiletries provided. Food is ok but there are better and cheaper options... Staff were very helpful. Although the location is not in central city, the Metro train is just around the corner and will take 10 minutes to go to central town. The gym and swimming pool closes at 7.30 pm. It is better it it closes at least 10 pm.

The location is really great in terms of getting fast to the city center. Breakfast fine, swimming pool a little small and not very clean ( hairs ), front desk staff very helpful. Unfortunately the cleaning staff is absent-minded (if they changed towels, they forgot to take out the rubbish or left the glasses in the bathroom) and not very scrupulous ( floor was usually dirty)

Not the prettiest from the outside, inside is pleasant. Our room on the second floor had a small sunny (in the morning) balcony. The outlook was fairly drab towards the stadium and the road, however the room was a good size comfortable bed and very clean. I payed 110 euro for two days..But when i arrived there in the first moment when i checkin they blocked 200 euro on my card...this is the system here i think..But it is 1 week from then and those 200 euros on my card is still blocked.iT IS AMAZING.I hope they will unblock my money very soon.

The lady at the reception is really unwelcoming. She have to learn how to smile or at least how to be more friendly. This is a good 3 stars hotel, but not definitely not 4 stars. It is way too expensive if you pay the standard rate. The location is good because is very close to the metro station.

The location of the hotel was very convenient - next to a metro station as well as bus stop. Staff was helpful and enjoyed a dinner in the lobby cafe, both the salad and pasta were delicious. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The maid however did not replace our soap on the third day and possibly did not come to the room as the beds were not made and the towels were also not replaced.

Good hotel, perfectly located for events at the arena. Long (1.5 hour) walk to the river area but there's a Metro station (2) immediately outside that takes you to Batthany Ter, opposite the parliament buildings and next to the river.
