I have been staying in a quite off but very pleasant hotel in Hong Kong . Club floor is developing with good service from Mr Hody , really appreciated, nice gym, this is Hong Kong with a local feeling and touch , even with the location a little bit outside the centre the GM works wonders

My wife and I were very impressed with this hotel, We found the room, service, and friendship of the staff to be excellent. We had breakfast every morning and it was adequate, we always found something to eat and you could eat as much as you like. The room was adequate and had everything we needed. Very clean and it had all the amenities. I should mention it had a handy phone which I had never encountered before but it was excellent and we used every day for no cost. really good. We also had a me... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights, choose this hotel because of promotion rate HKD444/night. You cannot get this quality hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui for this price. Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room. Only disadvantage is the location, quite way out to the city. You'll spend lot of time traveling on MTR/Buses. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and will still pick this hotel if the price is right.

Very pleasant and cozy hotel to stay. Though a little farther to the town area and15mins walk to the nearest tai wo hau Mtr station. The hotel provides complimentary transfer to and fro MTR Tsuen Wan. The hotel provides free smartphone in each room and is so handy for us to use as hotspot when we travelling around and we saved on paying for a portable wifi. There is also complimentary wifi access in the room.

A long overdue review, but better late than never. :) My mom, sister and I went to HK in November for a short trip to explore the city. Dorsett Tsuen Wan is truly the best choice with the best price as well. What makes this hotel more special than the others is that it's tucked away in a quiet district. After a day of exploring the exciting and busy streets of Hong Kong, Dorsett welcomes us in a comfortable and relaxing home away from home. The hotel is easily accessible through the metro, ... I booked a room through the TripAdvisor website and then I called the hotel to confirm the reservation. The reservation agent said that the rate that I got from their reservation system was only valid for Hong Kong residents. Since I am not a Hong Kong resident then they would not honor the price that they confirmed just a few minutes ago. The reservation agent was not willing to listen or to acknowledge the fact that they had already sent me a confirmation email with that price. I got the T... Read more

The Dorsett Tsuen Wan is a great hotel, but with a less good location. It's 700 meters from the nearest tube Tau Wo Hau. Warm to walk the distance, but you pass two petrol station on the way that's nice to shop in if u are late home. Buy a octopus card to enjoy the public transport. Works very well. The hotel provides a free shuttle us from and to the hotel to the end station at Tsuen Wan. But closes early at 2130. The rooms are well fitted, but I miss a iron in the room. All hotels in this ... The hotel is a not close to the touristy places, but is clean, affordable, and easy access by train - (10 minute walk away). Room was small, and so was the bathroom. Chinese Restaurant is next door with wonderful food although they have an english menu and a chinese menu. The chinese menu options are not offered on the English Menu - and for this reason only, I would look elsewhere for dinner.

We stayed in the superior room for 10 days and were extremely pleased with the service and the hotel itself. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. During our stay, we were even invited to a evening with free wine where we able to pass on our positive feedback to the staff. We took advantage of many of the great facilities there including the swimming pool, the free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan MTR station and were even able to borrow an umbrella during the rainy days. SOTC booked this hotel for us. This is a business hotel in industrial area with no Indian restaurants or market near by. No bell boy service for luggage check in and check out. No drinking water facilities other then the check in day. Very bad breakfast. The staff was not Co-operative. Staff seemed to be rigid and arrogant. The AC was not working properly in two of our rooms. We had the worst ever experience of our life.

Last year december, my family and I went on a trip to Hong Kong. When choosing the hotel, we chose this hotel. When we entered the hotel, the staffs, no matter those at the front desk or those standing at the front gate, is very friendly. However, one of the staff was spotted scolding the tourists. Overall, the rooms are very clean, the price is not expensive and the shuttle bus drivers are also very kind. On the first day, from MTR station we missed the 17.05 shuttle bus, so we were waiting until 18.35. Shuttle bus was very helpful for brought us to the hotel. In this hotel we booked room with city view, but we got room with pool view. The room size was enough for 2 person and the bathroom was quite big.

I think this hotel has unique design. The mangers in the lobby wear unique and beautiful designed uniforms. The lobby is small but there are 2 vending machines for cup noodle and snacks. You can use free shuttle bus to Tsuen wan MTR station every 30min. Also you can walk to MTR station within 10min. On the ground level, there is 7- eleven, but it it s too small, so you cannot find various snacks. But they have cigarets and beers. I stayed a family room for 5 persons, the design is very good an... Read more

This review is a little overdue as we stayed for 5 nights earlier in April 2016. We stopped by HKG after spending 10 nights in Thailand to catch-up with families and friends. We arrived late checked-in until closer to 10:30 pm as we had a late flight from BKK. We booked the family room as we were travelling with our 9 yrs old son and needed a little more space. As requested, they provided a room with 2 queen beds as not all family rooms are configured this way, so that was great. The family room... Read more

I stayed in this hotel just for 1 night on my own as I was only passing through HK. I arrived early in the morning and asked for early check in which they provided without any problem even though they were full the night earlier. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Do not reserve the single room at this hotel, the room is very very very small. It would be better to ask for an upgrade and get a room with bath, which has a seperate living area and bedroom and is more spacious. The hotel seems pretty new, and staff is efficient. The biggest drawback is its location. There is nothing around the hotel.

During an overnight layover we chose this hotel based on its location and its price. We arrived into HKG late at night and our crazy taxi driver got us to the Dorsett in around 25 minutes. We had to rush downtown first thing in the morning for some business then rush back to check out for a 2pm flight. We did this due to not wanting to take our carry on luggage downtown, but on reflection we should have done, and got the airport express from Kowloon. From the hotel using public transport a t... I booked this hotel for a last minute business trip to Hong Kong as it is walking distance to my meeting venue. This is a new and clean place, tucked away in this rather industrial area. As a lover of Hong Kong food, I am glad that there is a nice restaurant on the 2nd floor with daily offerings of dim sum and other lovely cantonese dishes. In fact, I do not need to travel out of the hotel to go for food when I want some Hong Kong delicacies. There are streams of local who are there from ear... Read more
