Stayed with my partner for 3 nights and from the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were staying at a home away from home. We were upgraded to a fabulous harbour view suite, which was breathtaking and very carefully thought out. We didn't really want to leave the room! The bar and restaurant are both very special with sweeping views of the harbour and beautiful food. The staff were amazing especially Emily and Kristina in guest experience. All of their recommendations for restaurants... Read more

Two friends and I recently traveled to Hong Kong for New Year's Eve and decided to treat ourselves to a stay at The Upper House. Without a doubt, this is one of the best properties in the world. From the simple yet luxurious guestrooms, to the amazing restaurant on the 49th floor with stunning views of the harbor, this hotel exceeded all of our expectations (the "Upper East" breakfast was a highlight). But what still has me talking about this place is the people who work there; we only stayed 2 ... Read more

My favourite hotel in Hong Kong. The architect designer has done a marvellous job in transforming an office building setting into the most comfortable hotel. Love its bathroom+dressing+toilet, separated and yet inter-connected, with tiny see-through details. It is luxury redefined---one feels so at ease here!

This is the only hotel I consider staying at when visiting Hong Kong. The location is fantastic, right in the midst of Pacific Place shopping center and only within about a 10 minute walk from Central and everything to do there. The subway is literally beneath the hotel. The service is fantastic, I'm never disappointed by the level of personal service and attention to detail. The rooms are very comfortable, hip, modern and large and have all the technology you would expect in 2017. The view... Read more

In today's world, for a seasoned traveller, it's not just the hotel rooms or lobby, but the service which really sets apart a hotel. Although there was a little mix-up at the beginning of the stay, the rectification and attention thereafter was impeccable. Seeing how service reacts to a complaint or a mishap, is often an indication of the service experience, ethos, and attitude you can expect across the hotel. UH has it down right: they are attentive, customer focused, and ensuring that your sta... Read more

The rooms are huge - tastefully decorated and the bathroom is amazing. Put simply this hotel is awesome...and it's all about the rooms! I also like the concept that the mini bar and everything in it is included in the room price

We were on 47th floor, room size is more than twice of a normal HongKong hotel, with breathtaking views of the harbour and the peak, both from the lounge room and the bathroom!!! Afternoon high tea at 49th floor was also an unforgettable experience.

One of the truly great hotels. Understated in many ways. None of the usual facilities, but a fantastic place to stay in Hong Kong. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. We went with four children and could not have been made to feel more welcome. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Loved Olivia who heard we were heading to Sydney and so popped a luxury guide to Sydney into our room that evening.

‚??Welcome Home‚?? is a standard greeting at the Upper House for 2nd time or regular clients. And one truly feels at Home as they remember little things like wanting 2 ice buckets in your room vs just one, lots of bath salts, etc‚?¶ etc‚?¶ and always ready to help without being ‚??in your face‚??. A perfect balance. The staff is surprisingly not a revolving door as they have the same charming GM (Marcel Thoma) from the day they opened. Seeing familiar faces (Kristina Snaith, Howard Kuo, Shir... Read more

From check in to check out, every aspect of The Upper House astounded and amazed. I expected a beautiful room with a view, great furnishings, and a nice bathroom. What I experienced was even more. The room and views were beyond. The bathroom was next level. But most importantly, the service was phenomenal at every interaction: the chic and discreet reception, breakfast at Cafe Gray, even getting into Ubers, etc, each of these experiences reinforced the feeling that each guest is a unique priorit...
