Great location - right in the centre of everything u need. Decent price and very nice rooms. An upgrade to the business floors is well worth it with great views and all the services u need. I had to check out late - which was no issue in this case. The staff was very friendly - especially Bianca from the business service center! Will come back soon !

Comfortable stay if you need a base on a business trip. Breakfast buffet is good, service is helpful, beds are firm and sleepable. Causeway Bay area is not particularly interesting, though ok, but only one subway stop from Wan Chi restaurant/bar district. For a "see Hong Kong" experience better to got to Kowloon, but the Regal works well for a business trip.

I upgraded to executive floor including free mini bar, breakfast and late check out at 4:00 pm for 500HK per night average, it was the right way to do it. The room was nice, the bed was comfy and the view was good, even though the shower was felt faintly sorry to be broken to switch hand-shower. I want to commend on the wonderful staff and thank them personally for their professionalism and compassion.

Stayed here for four nights for work. The location of the hotel was good, and very handy for shopping in Causeway Bay, the SOGO dept store is very nearby and warrants a visit. The MTR station is also close and is fab for gerund around Hong Kong for very little money. The park across the road from the hotel is lovely got a relaxing walk. The room was pleasant enough, spacious, decent sized wardrobe and good facilities. Good bathroom with separate bath and shower. Breakfast had something for every... Read more

I'm a causeway bay fan having lived in this area for 4 years ..and regal Hong Kong is walking distance from my old flat. So this hotel will always be close to my heart. Located at the heart of causeway bay, it's a very convenient location for eating, shopping, partying ..and the list goes on. Hotel is a bit old but the rooms are clean..staff are friendly and the amenities are still in tip top shape. This is always my first hotel choice every time I'm in HK !!!

1, no blackout curtains, affect sleep. We suggest adding shade cloth. 2,31-floor restaurant environment is very good, but breakfast is too little variety. 3, waiting for the formalities to pay long time, it is recommended to have a place to put a few chairs give other people sit.

The Regal HK is in a great location; walking distance to Causeway Bay MTR and Happy Valley Racecourse. If you are looking for accommodation around that area then you will probably consider this hotel. That being said, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel (despite what they claim), so if you are wanting that, I suggest looking elsewhere. HK is really easy to get around using the MTR so no need to stay in one particular area. The check in process was average, not overly friendly or helpful. The... Read more

My second visit to Regal.Excellent location in causeway bay. The rooms are generally bigger though a bit tired. The rooftop pool is very inviting with an excellent view of the HongKong skyline. Times Square shopping centre is a 5 minute walk. Free wifi is provided. Service is average but I like staying here because of its location.

Hotel is located at prime shopping district with airport shuttle service. However service attitude can be very much improved; from front desk to even it's shuttle bus driver. Was staying at a boutique hotel just next door but service staff was so much more courteous and hotel was new. Cost is almost the same.

What I WASN'T told that I had to pre-book for the entire duration - I had a stay of 6 nights; it is unreasonable to expect one to have to pre-book for the entire duration. If I had to pay the full price at over $500 HKD I would have felt unjustified. The food was plentiful but the quality was not impressive. Worse is the way this hotel managed its (men's ) toilet. It was a shocker, wet and untidy more like a typical suburbia Chinese restaurant's than a hotel in causeway bay. Luckily my friend had a discount card thus we only had to pay just over $300 a person. Still, I probably won't go back in a hurry.

The hotel is in the center of Causeway Bay, near MTR station, near Times Square, Sogo and Hysan Avenue. It's easy for shopping, easy to find a restaurant with cheap price and delicous food. I stayed in this hotel twice and will come back next times. The room is quite small but reasonable. Should ask the housekeeping to change the drap.

I visited Hong Kong, particularly at Causeway Bay, on a business trip. I must say this is one of the practical hotel around the Causeway Bay. The hotel looks like it's been on service for so long, judging by its design and utilities. Clean rooms and good service from staff. They got a shuttle that'll take you to the airport every hour. The only reason as to not giving this hotel a 5-star rating is because it is really difficult to get a taxi from this location. And if you are in a hurry to get t... Read more

The hotel is quite well located and the rooms are a good size for Hong Kong and the staff are helpful. However, this not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination and nowhere in the hotel does it suggest that it is. The rating used is either self rated or the rating has been given by the chinese government, definitely not from a recognised body. The hotel lobby is actually quite dirty and the rooms are very dated and need of renovation. The main problem is the price. You could actually bo... Read more

My wife and I left Hong Kong last night after a truly memorable first visit to this vibrant and interesting place. Our visit was made all the more memorable thanks to the staff at the Regal Hong Kong but specifically to the receptionists on level 31 at the executive welcome check in. The staff we interfaced with were extremely helpful in providing us with really pertinent information on how we could get about the city in a way that maximised our time effectively. On the day of our departure we... Read more

My stay at Hotel Regal Hong-Kong (Causeway bay) was just average. The hotel is ok...not great... service also average.. but surprisingly it has only 4 or 5 seating at the 'so called ' lobby. Very inconvenient for guests who have to checkout and wait. Secondly there is no baggage room. The room service menu is not great. Just an average hotel.

The degree to which a hotel anticipates and is responsive to a client's needs is a decisive factor in predisposing the client to return. The Regal is very good in this respect and I shall indeed be returning there next year. In fact, this is almost two hotels in one. The lower floors are occupied by a large number of tourist groups, often but not exclusively from the mainland: the top floors above level 31 are the Exec Club area and this is where I stayed for ten days. It is very well run. Rooms... Read more

I wanted to add a couple extra nights stay and price quote was much more than if I booked on line, plus the on-line price included buffet breakfast and I had to pay over and above! Not happy. When I asked for the on-line price, they declined. Not the best customer service!

Easy for shopping and transportation, big room even with a tub! But noisy at night due to the traffic nearby and bad sound proofing. Complained to the reception on the second day but they are not helpful, even without smile!

Authentic Shanghainese Cuisine from Jesse Restaurant @Regal Hotels. All Shanghainese dishes are really delicious. Highly recommend: Braised Pork Belly in Brown Sauce, River Fish Broth with Fresh Abalone, Hairy Crab, River Shrimp, Steamed Shad in Shaoxing Wine, Red Date Stuffed with Glutinous Rice.

Stayed there in August. My first mistake was I agreed with the receptionist with a free upgrade to a smoking room on a higher floor, lesson learn, never opt for a smoking room, it really smells bad. Nothing much to say about Regal, 3 star hotel, badly in need of maintenance, I took some pictures but decided not to have it published, it was just not right to do it. The room walls, furniture, carpet, are in bad shape and needs to be maintained. Amenities are average, room size is small, taxis are ... Read more

Good hotel in causeway Bay Area. Staff are all excellent. Rooms comfortable. The decor is over-the-top kitsch. The cafe is good with limited menu. Located close toVictoria Park. The biggest drawback is that they keep the a/c set low so you need to wear woollens inside even with warm temperatures outside

I'm not sure why, but I could not sleep well during my stay in hotel for 1 week. The room was sooo cold for me even I switched off the AC, or sett the AC to 32C. Seems there is cold air went in to the room that makes my bed and bed room very cold. Hotel need to fix this issue, especially on winter season when the wheather outside become chilly.

This is a hotel that family members have stayed in and which, recently, I stayed in for a few night in two different types of rooms. If you like being in Causeway Bay but not dead centre in the middle of it, this is very well situated, and only a matter of minutes away from the nearest MTR station. I stayed in two different types of rooms. A superior twin and then on my second stay, which was the result of a flight cancellation so I had to suddenly find a room, I was upgraded to a huge room wi... Read more

1) Room needs some uplifting for sure since some were noticeable dated interior (old/worn out fittings). Looked clean at a glance but when you had a better look you could see carpet, furniture, bedding and bathroom were old and not well-maintained. 2) Lack of security - Strongly required to step up measures in ensuring guests' safety a) No lift security feature. Anyone could easily take the lift and access straight to hotel rooms. b) The assigned room (1905) was directly opposite the exit door. ... Read more

Stayed 5 nights here on business with my fiancée - for the price we paid it was excellent. The rooms were spacious (by comparison to other hotels in HK), and the rooftop pool was excellent. Nice restaurants internally, but also not far from Times Square shopping mall which has a few nice places to eat. A 5 minute walk from the Causeway Bay MTR station, and a tram stop is directly outside the back entrance. Staff were very helpful, spoke good English and responded quickly to adhoc requests. Pr... I have been here a few times now, and find this hotel very convenient for business trips. The most recent time I was on 27th floor; the room and bathroom were both a good size, bathroom with a big corner bath as well as shower, and AC/lighting etc were flexible and effective (all controlled from a bedside unit). I had breakfast included: it's a very extensive international buffet and well worth it if you are a big eater! The hotel has an airport shuttle bus which works just fine but it is not a ... Read more

For work reasons i found myself spending quite a lot of time in Hong Kong in the last four months. Being a creature of habit I tend to stick to the same hotel. During this period of time I've stayed at the Regal over 20 nights, on and off. The rooms are slightly bigger than the HK average, housekeeping is efficient and it's conveniently located. However the rooms are very dated. So dated that I wouldn't even name it a five star. Not only that the customer service is shocking! As I was checking i... Read more
