Hotels in Hong Kong are generally expensive. Its hard to find a affordable and neat hotel to stay in. We chance upon IBIS North Point online it was around SGD$80 a night and we stayed for 5nights so it was around SGD$200 each for me and my friend. Room and toilets are really clean and tidy, they will clean your room every morning with all toiletries supplied like any other hotels. Service was great and room services was generally quite fast. Room space is limited but doable, we shared a bed s... Read more

A carefully cleaned room, which is rather small. Soundproofing is poor but the air-conditioning drows out. Shower is full and warm though there are signs of mild. A new building is going to be built infront of the hotel- so no habour view soon.

In terms of location, it is like 2 minutes walk to North Point MTR station. There are many eateries and convenience stores nearby. It is convenient if you are on business trip and working around North Point. Location is not recommended if you are on holiday or shopping trip in Hong Kong. Lobby is at level 2 and can be accessed using elevator or staircase. The elevator can be quite slow at times though. Check in / Check out is quick. However there were no staff offering to help with my luggage... Read more

My recent 5-day stay at the hotel was a very pleasant one. The front desk receptionist, Cathy, was very friendly and accommodating. I was very pleased to be upgraded to a high floor harbourview room and given a welcome drink voucher. The hotel was well-maintained- everything worked. The room was clean and bed comfortable with everything I needed for the short stay. The housekeeper, Ah Hong, was also very polite and friendly. The MTR is just a few doors away. There are many eateries, some famous,... Read more

This is the 4th time we stayed here & this time for 10 nights in Room 2808 with harbour view. ( 28th floor) We still think this is the best value 3 stars hotel in Hong Kong. It is definitely worth paying a bit more to get a room with full harbour view. Yes the room is a bit small but it has everything you need including safe box, a fridge, tea/ coffee making facility. It is also very clean & quiet. Room is clean & serviced everyday, may be the only thing lacking is a hand towel! Hotel is c... Read more

The room service was good, but the room is too small (1902). The price of the room should have included breakfast for the guests, otherwise the guests will feel uncomfortable. The location of the hotel near MTR is very convenient.

Small sized room which is a Hong Kong thing plus a Ibis thing, so expect tiny rooms. Got a good price for it though, which I guess is reasonable. Everything was Ibis standard, clean and maintained. Good location, very close to the mtr , which is still near to tourist spots on the island side. Overall , a good economical budget hotel for short stays.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and actually like it, but much depends on the particular room you end up in. Some rooms have a door to the neighbouring room - these are very bad, because you can hear everything: talk, snoring, door slamming. Additionally if they smoke in that room - which happens despite it being banned - the smoke will waft under the door and into your room. My last stay was in such a room - also had a sour smell; like urine. Booking on accorhotels.com sucks: * credi... Read more

In Hong Kong a hotel room is quite small. This is ok. Also the location was quite good with a good connection to the MTR (Station North Point; own exit). From the station it is a 10-15 minute ride to central Hong Kong, which is quite ok. BUT! The hotel does not fit the known IBIS-standard. The furniture is quite old and especially the bathroom is in a terrible condition. The hotel including the restaurant needs a renovation in order to fulfill the standards for IBIS-hotels. Paying more than 60... Read more

This hotel is just around the corner from the airport bus (A11) terminal. It's steps away from the Underground metro line and has restaurants close by. At the moment, there's a view of HK harbor from the front. It was so quiet in my room, I'm sure they are soundproof. Staff are friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. Although it is advertised in many places, breakfast, which is a small buffet, is not from 4:30 but from 6:30. Other than that, I have no complaints.
