The holiday inn express was an excellent central location to stay. The rooms were spacious given the lack of space in Hong Kong! The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The staff ere very helpful M and spike very good English. I extended my stay to include a short holiday for sight seeing. I would definitely recommend either business or holiday stay at this hotel!

First time staying at this hotel, and really enjoyed it. Rooms are, as usual in HK, quite small but definitely sufficient (ours was 17 m2). Everything works well and staff is both good and service minded. The higher floors have a great view, especially the Harbour side, with only one or two sky rises in between. Breakfast is ok but not much more than that. When staying longer there is also a laundry room (buy token in reception, about 40 HKD). Location is great with so many quaint and lovely s... Read more

(Of course you cannot expect intercontinental level breakfast but we enjoyed very much) Easy check out. Again friendly staff / comfortable room made this trip so pleasant. Thank you!!!

Good location for business, very clean, rooms are a good size for HK, good breakfast, with good hot food selection, about 6 mins walking from the metro station, wifi was good. Unfortunately it was not a convenient area to get a taxi. Easy Walking access to Sheung Wan MTR station and Ferry terminal.

Customer service was fantastic. Welcome drink was offered for members. Check in was done within minutes. The room was spacious considering that Hong Kong hotels rooms tend to be rather small in terms of size. Breakfast is included with quite a good spread. If you do not want to have breakfast in the hotel, right across the hotel there are quite a few cha chang teng for your breakfast fix. Location is accessible. Just 5 mins walk away from the mtr station. Just opposite the carpark entran... Read more

A friendly, clean hotel, room fine, the breakfast could have been better, there was very limited choice with the majority of it being noodles and fried rice which Europeans do not usually eat but it was adequate. This looks to be a new hotel. Free bus service from the station was handy.

Great location a short walk from Sheung Wan MTR, Central and Hollywood Road & Soho and the ferries. The area is mixed residential commercial with many great local restaurants such as Dim Sum Square that is not to be missed. The service on arrival, throughout our stay and departure was outstanding. The rooms, though Hong Kong sized, were modern, comfortable and very functional. very good laundry facilities as well. The included breakfast buffet was better than average. The location was great for the MTR station and getting around in general and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We used the shuttle bus to get to and from the airport and had no problems at all with the room or facilities. Both the bathroom and shower were roomy with a clothes line, if you needed one, and the room was clean and fairly big. We like to try local food and we enjoyed everything at breakfast apart from the congee ( sorry, not sure of the spelling!) and the one evening ... Read more

I stayed here back in August (late review I know)... but it is worth mentioning now! This hotel is in a great location... It's in the business district and near all your major needs. The hotel sits about 10 minutes walk from the central train station and the ferry terminals... so if you're up for the walk its easy. Otherwise, the hotel does offer a free shuttle to the train station. However, the traffic is reason enough to just walk if you don't have the luggage to contend with. I have nothing ... Read more

I spent a night here recently on a business trip. The room is pretty good size for Hong Kong and this class of hotel. Furnishings were simple and practical and the room is clean and modern. Internet worked well and remain connected through my work sessions. The room I received also had a wondeful view. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options - nothing fancy but quality everyday breakfast items. Staff was friendly and acommodating. They recognized my Platinum status and offered me... My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is in the Sheung Wan area and easily reached from The airport express terminal at Hong Kong station using the free shuttle bus. The staff were polite and efficient while the room was more spacious than we expected. Public transport is close by ( trams and MTR) and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

On a side street on Hong Kong Island. Check in fast and welcoming. Room was small and nothing special. Minimal amenities. Breakfast was not the best. Very crowded with people pushing and shoving. I ended up going out for breakfast to avoid this crazy rush and being seated with strangers with bad table manners. For the high price I would look elsewhere.

Room is basic but clean and comfortable. The room is equipped with conplimentary drinking water and toiletries. I got a nice sea view from my room, probably nicer on the higher levels. There is great view on their top level where the function room is. Breakfast is available on level 2 restaurant daily. You will be given breakfast coupons at check-in. Food is very average and expect to share tables with other guests. Not my first choice given many food options along the street. Service staff ar... Read more

The rooms in this hotel are comfortable - good size, comfortable bed, clean. Breakfast though needs much improvement. The breakfast area is small for the size of the hotel resulting in queues. It was easy to knock into another hotel guest while trying to get some food. The quality of the sausage and ham is shocking - suggest to leave that out altogether if the quality cannot be improved. Coffee is poor quality as well. Butter should be made available in small packages. The porridge is good.

I'd stayed at 99 Bonham across the street last year but needed a more economical spot for this trip and got a great rate for HK so thought I would try this property for a two night stay. Pros: - the HK Express shuttle goes right to the door - proximity to tram, buses, and subway cannot be beat - neighbourhood is old-school HK (if you like that kind of thing) - excellent view of harbour and city from higher floors - good blackout curtains - comfortable bed with choice of pillows - efficient us... Functional, clean, no-frills hotel in a great location, close to Sheung Wan MTR station and a very quick walk into the great restaurants and bars of SoHo. It's not necessarily built to encourage lingering - it's squarely aimed at business travellers and tourists who are going to be out and about all day - so if you value a great room and lots of facilities over location you'd be better off choosing a hotel on the Kowloon side. Good sized shower, which is unusual, and decent wifi connection. Don'... Read more

This hotel is fine and affordable for a short business trip to Hong Kong if you have business near the hotel (I was here for 6 nights). Only had a view through the buildings toward the mountains. The few was not that exciting. The proximity to the Train station, SOHO and a huge number of wonderful eating places was perfect and suited me to the ground. The "included breakfast" is nothing to get excited about, very simple fare and below average for an international city like Hong Kong. I ate out a... Read more

First thing with a good hotel is location. Sure location is a matter of what business you have in town. Spend 3 nights here on a city getaway with a friend. There was no need for even using the subway. Everything we needed was in walking distance and walking is much better way to explore a city. Airport Express station, Central and ferry terminals, LKF party district was all within 10-15 min walk. The small Jervois street hold some great restaurants and cafe including clubs. The hotel is conveniently located near a train station and there are plenty of shopping that you can get done around the area. It is also nearby many eateries, department stores and luxury stores. The hotel room was alright, cleanliness was alright, but a tad old. Not recommended for luxury travelers.

Me and my friend stayed there just for 1 night. We arrived there late night from Disney land trip and but the check-in was very smooth and feel so welcome by lovely receptionist Ms. Tina. She was very kind and gave us welcome drink and beautiful room with great view. We sleep too well and missed the breakfast so I would like to try if I have a chance to come back there. Wi-fi is not too fast but no need to put any password so it's easy to access.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. It was an average hotel for the price paid. To be fair there were pros and cons during my stay. Pros - 1) Location was good. Just a 2 minute walk to Sheung Wan MTR Station. 2) 10 minute walk to Central Ferry Piers through IFC mall via the overhead walkways. In fact, I only took the MTR once during my 5 day stay. I took the Star Ferry across the harbour. It was more pleasant without having to squeeze with the crowd on the trains. 3) If you need to travel to C... Read more

This is my go-to hotel when I'm traveling alone to Hong Kong. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is great, just steps away from Wellington Street, with great food and shopping. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel is in a good location a few minutes walk from Sheung Wan subway station. If you are coming from the airport on the Airport Express train to Hong Kong station, you can take the free blue H1 hotels shuttle bus. Holiday Inn Express Soho is the first stop. We had a room on the 33rd floor with a nice view looking up towards the mid levels and Victoria peak. There is free wifi and self service laundry machines. I can't tell you how many times I've stayed here. I live in Macau but when I come to Hong Kong this is my go-to hotel. It's super close to Sheung Wan train station (also the ferry terminal - convenient for me as I get a ferry form Macau) and only one stop on the MTR to Central which is where Soho and LKF is located. PERFECT! The rooms are small but nice and the buffet breakfast of a morning is reasonably nice. The price is amazing too. Super cheap.
